United Kingdom | 09 October 2024I reached out to them on August 16, they said they need to do a home survey in order to produce a quote. I said ok let's schedule it. They said let's do a price range estimation instead. I said ok, here's the list of the stuff I need to move. On August 29 still nothing, I ask if we can get things moving, they said they're waiting for one of their international partners. On September 12 I've asked them not to bother. I've wasted 1 month and haven't learned a single thing from them.

Australia | 05 October 2024So happy with the service and especially with Chris and Dave. Packing up my mums flat after her death was extremely traumatic. Chris and Dave were professional, caring and made me laugh. PSS made the whole process easy. From initial talks to the actual packing day. I am sure the service will be as good when my precious items arrive in Oz. Thank you to James, John, Chris, Dave, Milica and the team.

United Kingdom | 05 October 2024Poor from the start. An inaccurate survey meant that they added over a thousand pounds to the price when it was at a point I could not feasably back out. The complaints team were patronising and I am still without any resolution. The packers did such a poor job that several crystal glasses were packed with pans, a small slab of marble and other heavier items roughly wrapped in paper, all of our sets now have at least one or two from each broken. Photo frames packed together without any packaging inbetween and so cracked smashed and now with glass everywhere. No fragile lables on any of the boxes apart from my wives handbags which didnt need it. Labeling on boxes was compleatly inaccurate and when they opened a box labled toys it turned out to be bedding. Opened another labeled toiletries and found one of our glass crystals without any packaging alongside some things from our shed... as we are opening it looks like the whole house was just thrown in boxes and labled toys books or clothes not what it actually was. No care seems to have been taken at all. Pushing me to go to customs within the week under threat of taking more than three weeks to deliver, (I work full time and have three kids under 5), only to be told when Ive paid more money for a taxi to do it quicker that it will be delivered later that week... Unpacking service was poor and was not told till the end that it was a 'surface unpack' which is basically emptied out the boxes and only on an open flat surface which doesnt include cupboards or shelves.....Pointless. The operations manager didnt do his job so on the day of delivery my wife had to run around the neighbors asking them to move there cars, (and no PSS you didnt email me to ask me to do this the night before). Basically PSS has made the whole experience more stressfull and cost a lot lot more than quoted. I would not recommend and would not go with them again. My complaint code is PSS-741991 Official complaint if someone at PSS wishes by some miracle to contact me to resolve rather than treat me like an idiot. me: The quote was over a thousand pounds under why was that? PSS: you signed the inventory to say it was all in order and you must have added things to it. me: I didn't add to it and how am I supposed to know from the discription what size a 'cube' is. PSS: well you signed the inventory (and as later I found that they mislabed the boxes making it irrelevant anyway. I am following up with the complaint. In short unless you want more stress rather than less, precious items mislabled, badly packaged and damaged and to pay more than quoted dont go with PSS. Update: thank you for your reply. The defensive nature of this reflects how you have been treating me via email. I will not continue here on trust pilot having a to and fro because people will get bored of it. I will say that the items were not properly packed and damages were caused as a consequence. I will be going through the claims for these in due course with proper documentation. Packing to the best of their ability does not include placing a crystal water glass in a box without packaging around it in a box of mixed sundries that are just thrown in. I did not reply to your email regarding your rationale for the additional costs because you did not make sense. your saying we added (out of nowhere as the guy quoting us came to the house) 13 boxes of toys, pram, taupaulin, playstation, kids bike, trunk, box of dvds, toys and rocking horse, 11 extra boxes of clothes, scooter, single mattress, box of bags, pots and pans, crate of clothes?, kids wardrobe, car seat, 2 red chairs, excercise equiptment, chair....???? The insinuation that we 'added' these items 'post quote' is ridiculous beyond belief and the fact that the boxes were compleatly mislabled anyway makes your arguments as confused as the packing... It is now December and I have not recieved a reply regarding the complaint or an email acknowledging reciept from the person dealing with the complaint. I just keep getting told theyll get back to me....

United Kingdom | 04 October 2024The experience we had from moving our stuff from UK to USA is really bad. PSS team just told me they have no control over the We got promised 6 to 12 weeks for the delivery, but I think we will be lucky if we get it in 5 months. My honest advise is, please consider someone else, I will not recommend them!

United Kingdom | 03 October 2024The communication is quick and efficient However, there were so many bits of paper , I had to keep checking everything was signed snd sealed. Also the insurance was not a quote in advance more 'this is what you need to pay '. The final bill will be more than I thought. Overall good service ... just a tick sheet on forms was definately needed. Thanks

United Kingdom | 02 October 2024I have spoken with a lawyer who has dealt with similar cases and dealt with PSS previously and started a class action against PSS for anyone interested and who have had a bad experience. Survey: Items that were factored into the survey were sold prior to packing reducing the cubic meterage. Surveyor told there was no driveway parking and street parking was restricted between the hours of 0830 and 1730, i walked the route with the surveyor and he took pictures of the area. The surveyor said that parking would not be a problem because removalist can park in restricted areas without penalty because they were loading. Arrival and packing: 12th Sept 24. Upon arrival the team parked their van on the shared drive, which i asked them to move. When the driver returned i was greeted with a slight bit of attitude at them having to park on the road in the restricted zone, i informed the guy the route was walked, discussed and pictures taken so take it up with your office, he responded by saying "any parking tickets we receive will be passed to you". The team entered the house and separated 1 person per room, (hard to keep track 1 vs 3), I started in the kitchen with one PSS employee who showed me his work order (which i took a picture of) where it stated 'combine where possible' 'estimation 66 cubic feet over' when i asked him what this meant, he said " they mean combine items in boxes to reduce the amount of boxes. As i walked around the house i noticed they were isolated to each room, i.e. packing all the items from one room into boxes but not combining items from other rooms. Upon continuing my walk i began to video and look inside (the packers left the tape behind to re seal) and lift the boxes to show and demonstrate that the boxes were virtually empty, not combined and stuffed with paper. I raised this with PSS and they said we do that for delicate things. This particular box was a circular metal table 15cm in diameter with hollow underside. During that time i was contacted by a member of the office team asking how i thought their service was going. I took this opportunity to make a complaint saying they were not combining items within the rooms or combining items from other rooms, instead packing items in boxes that could be protected by other items but instead stuffing it full of paper. When the team departed that day i went around recorded and pictured more boxes to demonstrate just how much 'non combining' had occurred. The next day Fri 13th Sept 24, when the team returned they were finished packing by 1030hrs and began laying around my house watching things on their mobile devices, the container which comes straight from the port to the customers house was running 1, then 2, then 3 hours late, when it turned up i went outside to document this occasion to find the shipping container covered in rust and wet on the inside. When i asked one of the team members what was going on he said "we are refusing the container due to the ingress of water" which seems reasonable to me. When i asked what will happen from here he said " a new container more than likely be dispatched and a crew come to pack it" again, seems reasonable. When i got a call from the PPS removals manager in the office she asked me when i was moving, to which i told her Sunday 15th Sept. The removals manager called me back and said "we will send a team on Sat and a new container has been arranged for 0830 same day" I informed her that this has an impact on us moving out as the cleaners will have to be delayed and we may need to extend the tenancy and push out our other commitments. Sat 14th, the container arrives and so do the different team, the items are packed into the container and there are a few items left over i asked the guy by how many cubic feet is it over, he said "69 cubic feet. Miraculous. The upshot is my belongings are being held hostage Ive been invoiced for the team having to return on Sat 14th, £350, currency fluctuations £150 and groupage £690 Here is todays email from my complaint. 02/10/24 - copy and paste: I have went back to my manager with the questions you have addressed and queried on our call, and after double checking your move file, I can see that you have not taken our Removal Emergency & Disruption Cover and therefore we have invoiced the additional service charges for our crew to return and load the container for you on another day due to the poor condition of the equipment provided by the shipping line. Please kindly note that we have acted in good faith in rejecting the equipment provided by the shipping line for your removal. We requested CDOF (clean, dry and odour free) container for your shipment from the carrier, however they have failed in providing the same. As the container is booked and provided by the third party, we cannot be responsible for the container conditions.

Hong Kong | 27 September 2024From Hong Kong to the United Kingdom, after the goods arrive at the British port on 26/8/2024, they will not arrive at the British home until 25/9/2024, which takes a long time. It is recommended that the package be delivered to the customer's home within a maximum of one week after arriving at the British port. Things I appreciate: The customer service staff from Hong Kong, Liz, and the customer service team from the UK, Teresa, are very efficient and courteous in their responses. The two shipping partners were cordial and courteous.
