Up front the firm seems professional but the actual quality of their service leaves a lot to be desired. The packers turned up (Dec 22) but were not PSS packers and without the PSS boxes and packing materials and without a PSS supervisor that they also advertise. The packing was horrendous and items not wrapped in a way suitable for international shipping (one of their main marketing statements) and as such we had a high level of damage (around £14k). Furniture was wrapped in one sheet of bubble wrap, some ornaments and other items were not even wrapped (this included the coffee machine which was just in a box without padding and packaging), the record player was packed with the amp then the speakers on top with no packing paper or padding at all (surprisingly it was broken), the marble top table even though crated was cracked in half when it turned up nearly a year later, a box has never materialised and they are ignoring that. I have furniture with chips out of them, broken drawers, bent legs etc purely due to poor packing. I have had to throw away personal ornaments, keepsakes that i cannot replace. I also had a "bomb" BBQ with a guarantee for the outer casing that was split all the way up (the Barbeque Galore guy when we went to look at replacing was so proud of this guarantee and that nothing could damage it and was horrified when we told him what had happened to ours, he believed it must have been dropped). The boxes that arrived in 6 months not 3 looked like they had been kicked around a football field, there were gaping holes with items falling out! I have pictures that weren't even packed properly just the storage box they were in sealed up and shipped! Surprisingly they are all damaged and though quotes for reframing are in the £100's they are only offering me $42.55 for each picture! Moving forward over a year later we are still in dispute with regards a settlement as apparently my goods aren't worth anything! Quotes for repairs have been ignored and a paltry sum offered. Most people i have spoken to about this company give up pursuing them and settle and there are a lot of people on the Brits in Brisbane FB page that have had a negative experience with this company. I would also say don't follow their Overseas Valuation Form as you follow what they have put in sections and if they believe that some china you have noted doesn't fit in with the section you have put it in they will ignore it! I have moved twice internationally now and the difference in quality is very apparent as is the insurance settlement (though with the other two times there was only very slight damage, however quotes were honoured and payment quick). As I said a year and 3 months on we are still in dispute! Beware.

Charlie has been very helpful even though I can be a bit of a pest with my many questions. He has always taken the time to provide an answer even though I am only sending a set of golf clubs to my son Oliver in Oz.

Ross at wigan was totally awesome, made the whole process so simple, answered every stupid question we asked, explained the whole procedure calmly and professionally, and put us totally at ease with our removal,even the coffee was great,thank you, can recommend enough, from charlie, our baggage manager to Ross at wigan , 5 stars all the way.
