Our boxes have just been picked up, and Steve the delivery driver was very helpful with last minute questions we had, as well as appeasing any concerns about our stuff getting there in one piece! Huge thank you to the team, will definitely be recommending to my Ozzie & Kiwi friends in the future.

Australia | 15 December 2023I recently used PSS removals to move personal belongings from England to Australia. I am only writing this review so others can choose another company and have a more positive experience moving internationally. I was given multiple consultants, I received numerous emails requesting paperwork that I had submitted as well as new invoices, and I requested updates on my consignment with minimal accountability. This is a summarised version of events. It is still ongoing and I am still awaiting a response from the complaints team. I had to get support from Citizens Advice to receive any responses from the complaints manager and have my goods delivered. Finally, when I received my consignment the boxes were torn, items were damaged and order missing. I requested compensation from PSS but was told to file an insurance claim with no further follow up. If you do choose this company, ensure that you are vigilant during the process.

Had I known what these people were like I never would have used them , and I shall NOT recommend them to associates. Unhelpful and downright unpleasant . I went through several people as my ‘shipping manager ‘ and information provided changed from person to person . They demanded copies of documents which were already provided incurring extra costs from the solicitors/attorneys , they were not in the least part helpful and a very difficult time was made even harder , they seemed to be “money grabbing “ and pretty much holding you to ransom until they got what THEY wanted, they don’t take any kind of electronic payment except through a UK bank transfer or you can pay £350 or £50 through their website - not much help when you’re 5000 miles away and the banking system is like the Middle Ages . They demanded t be paid by 9.00am UK time , that’s around 3.00 am US time , why I have no idea . I had issues with my UK bank account , so was unable to make full payment not wouldn’t pay , couldn’t pay , or funds unavailable to pay - just unable to access my funds - was there any kind of understanding or help - NO - just we want our money . I wish I had never used PSS International , they sounded so helpful at the first phone call contact- how wrong I was .

United Kingdom | 05 December 2023They Knowingly sold me insurance that would never be valid. Some stuff arrived broken. I claimed, It was rejected on the basis that PSS had not packed nor unpacked it. I packed it myself, and was not informed that I shouldn't. There is an insurance option that has a higher premium should you pack it yourself. I was not offered that. I was given one option. Unpacking is not a service they offer. And even if it was, PSS do not exist in New Zealand ( the destination) so any broken items to a shipment there would not be covered as soon as unpacked. As it would have been done by a different company. So, in order for any broken items to be covered I would need to be superman and be able to see through solid objects, so I could make sure they were broken before unpacking. I am not superman. Nor, is anyone else that I know, or know of. So any insurance sold was mis sold. Not to mention they mixed up the addresses when picking the shipment up, so they went to wiltshire, not london, to an address that doesn't exist. A mix of my pickup and contact addresses. And I had to then significantly alter my plans to work around their incompetence. And my record player is very broken. Other than that went without a hitch. I would ask for a refund for the insurance. But that isn't going to cover the cost of fixing/replacing my record player. All I want is to listen to the soothing sounds of Joni Mitchell's Big yellow taxi, with the familiar comforting crack. Or maybe a banger from bicep, the bass a little warmer as I brew my morning coffee. But no. I am forced to listen to crisp, cold, characterless digital via Spotify as I research legal grounds on selling an insurance policy which by its own terms and conditions makes any claim void. I jest. But I swear this is illegal. And I am quite cross.

Although the surcharge is bit higher but it is absolute alright at least with feasibility to solve customer problem. Communication and friendliness from delivery team also great for professional work. I will use this company again for my next shipment.
