The two guys from PSS International Removals who packed and moved our belongings were professional polite and took great care with all of our stuff. We were very happy with the service we received from the video home estimation at the beginning to the packing and removal.

It was all very easy to co ordinate. I am not a tech wizard and I worked it out. Everyone I spoke to was lovely. I had to change pick up date, it was no problem. Just waiting for the boxes to be delivered overseas in 2/3 months.

I am disappointed I went with this company, who actually were the more expensive quote, as I was reassured the service they provide would be less stressful (they would pack and itemise all items to ensure it is packed adequately, therefore reducing the insurance cover required). 1. Service from the man who visited and provided the quote was very efficient and friendly . 2. Communication with move manager prior to the move was very efficient and friendly . 3. The actual move day was horrendous - 3.5 hrs of absolutely horrifying service . - 2 very rude men arrived early - they immediately complained about having to come at 7am (a time I was given, not one I could choose) - they constantly complained at having to pack and ship so much - we ended up suggesing they speak with the move manager. We were surprised they were apparently not advised on the service/volume of shipping we had paid for to be moved - they threw everything all mixed together into boxes (I had spent hours folding clothes the day before, to make it easier to pack and unpack later - this effort was obsolete as they just threw it all into huge boxes with disregard - they constantly complained at having to work on saturday (I had to pay an extra £200 for a weekend), - they packed items I did not want packed - despite me explaining repeatedly beforehand. (We have ended up having to ship 1 black bin liner worth of baby clothes which was meant to go to charity -was unable to remove as they had mixed it all with all other clothing. They also threw in a suitcase of dirty shoes that I had asked not to include, I had to insist on having to search through all sealed boxes to remove these, otherwise we would have been penalised when it reached Australia) - they were very aggressive/intimidating and unapproachable; repeatedly shouting 'what else what else' then sneering. The rush and stress of the entire session resulted in many missed items that was originally listed for shipping (items I had prepaid insurance on to ship also, i've so far had to spend more than £1k to send missed out items via air), - constantly making sexist comments - only stopping when my partner told them it was enough (they ignored me when I said it was unacceptable) - they threw away coffee they requested (they were disgusted I used oat milk) - dropped a computer monitor in front of me, then aggressively denied it, tried to intimidate me to avoid letting us check for damage. - there was much more but I cannot write it all 4. Customer Service They ignored/lost/'did not receive' my first response to automated feedback the day after shipping They acknowledged my response to their 2nd automated feedback request - and it's almost been 4 wks since they said they would 'internally investigate'. There has been no response re: any action at all re: the dreadful service. 5. The initial quote is not the final quote. I was asked to pay a futher approximately £70 after the items had been taken to ship - I still don't really understand why, something about the currency. When asked to clarify it was not very transparent, I was just sent a huge cut and paste of some small print, and they could not confirm if I would continue to be charged until everything finally arrived at destination. 6. Added extras are automatically included in the invoice. It's their 'policy' for customers to make a request for extra charges to be removed - even if you did not even state it was needed/or if the staff never used it. (Extras I had to repeatedly ask to remove was some extra insurance cover- was about £70, and a cleaning spray which I never requested and I which they did not even provide - this was about £25) I will update once my items have arrived at destination to give a fuller review, but felt compelled to write this review now, to help others understand what kind of service to expect if using this company.

I asked for a quote for a 65sqm space and did not notice that they only quoted on 45sqm. They came in as the cheapest quote on that basis so ignorantly chose them. Was charged an extra £500 on the day of collection for the additional space required. Was charged another £500+ to clear customs in the destination country (something I did not have to do with another provider) plus was asked to drive 100kms round trip for a customs exemption I did not actually qualify for. Was almost charged extra for a smaller truck and two items arrived damaged. One was a Moroccan sheepskin rug which I had insured via PSS because of its value. They had packed it badly and it arrived moth infested and threadbare, however as moths are considered "nature", the insurance does not cover it. This was never explained to me when I took the insurance and I maintain that the carpet was damaged due to PSS packing negligence. All in all a terrible service and I will never use them again. John Mason was the other firm I used and the service was incomparable - reasonably priced, everything arrived without damage and no hidden costs. In response to comment from PSS: regardless of my list, the storage unit would have remained a fixed size of 65sqm so the quote would have still been incorrect and this reminded me of two more points on my experience 1) there was limited flexibility for someone who was no longer “in country” and 2) throughout they have worked very hard to evidence that all of the failings in this process have been my fault, which is not my view and as the experts, they should have guided me through.

PSS International were great to deal with and with my short time frame to work with and not much notice for the company and my requirement, they were able to get my collection booked and it was collected in time.

It took a long time from arrival at the docks to get to our house however it arrived early on the day of delivery and 2 very helpful young men opened the crate and carried all the boxes into the garage. Everything well packed and in good order

The whole team at PSS have been SO helpful throughout the process. Answering all of my questions, and going through every step of the process with me as I have been doing this alone. Rachel and Charlie have been especially helpful every step of the way. I needed to move at lightning speed, and they made sure it was able to get done. They sent me everything I needed within a day. They answered all of my calls and questions along the way. It made a really daunting move and process far easier, and I am so grateful I found this company during such an overwhelming time. Damon, the courier from Speedy Freight who collected my things was so helpful and thorough. I will recommend to anyone who is going through the incredibly stressful process of moving or shipping, because they gave me the logistical support that I needed more than anything and handled it all with such professionalism and integrity. Thank you so much.

We paid PSS to deliver our precious things within three months, it took 6. The box we did receive late had been repacked and somethings were missing from this. I know it was repacked as it was a totally different box and not my writing. We were told one box was lost, it took a lot of effort to get only £75 out of them. I suspect damage may have occured as watching the man load them into the van did not fill me with confidence. PSSinternational didn't really deliver a good service, their excellent communication stopped after we paid. I would struggle to recommend or use them again, however we did receive some of our stuff and for that we are so relieved as there was a point we thought we would have it all lost. PSS should remember they are dealing with peoples most dear things. If they outsource, then they can't qualify control. I wouldn't use them again.

Staff, both office based and Steve and Mark who did our packing have been excellent. Nothing is too much trouble and all were very friendly and very sympathetic to our concerns. Response times were always quick and very professional. So glad we chose PSS! Would recommend them without hesitation.
