placed an order from web site which advertised free delivery through out mainland uk but when order was received was told an extra £10 plus vat for deliver was payable because we stayed in aberdeenshire. aberdeenshire is certainly part of mainland uk and as such "free delvery" should hve applied. very diasappointed with this company for advertising false information. have since placed and had delivery of order from another company who did not need extra delivery charges. this company should not be allowed to advetrtise "free delivery" when it does not apply.

i did a search for the cheapest hose pipe,and was presented with Alan wadkins ltd, i must admit i was rather nervous about using the compay, however my reservations were unfounded,the item arrived in perfect condition within 2 days at a really good price, would have no hesitation in reccomending and using the company again

I was researching cordless drills for a while online. I went through pages and pages and looked at all the major retailers. After many google searches I stumbled across Alan Wadkins who had the best deal on my Makita. There was a bit of a hiccup with my address, but it was sorted quickly by knowledgeable staff(Martin I believe). I then received the tools next day. I would definitely recommend and buy again from Wadkins.

Dremel 4000, 4/65. Saw it, bought it, used it, loved it. I just keep finding excuses to use it more. It was delivered promptly and without any fuss, the website is easy to navigate, and it was cheaper than the big name high street diy stores, and the staff can actually answer your questions, which is a big plus. Wanted the tools for a long time, found them at a good price plus fast delivery, however the tools are put in a box at the maikta factory which shows which way to store the box and carry it too. ToolStore ALAN WADKINS LTD dispatched the item containing my tools warped in black bag's over the box without any indication which way the parcel should be transported ie the top from the bottom. The tools are loose in the box and able to move up and down, with the bag on top, I opened the box to find the tools out of there compartments, as I make my living with tools like this as a joiner, they should have arrived in perfect condition.
