The house was in a great location, hnlesss you get there in the dark. We were walking around in snow and ice till we found the front door. The key was not where they said it would be but when walking around the house we discovered a side door that was unlocked and cracked open, so we got in. Some updates and care are needed but it was overall a good stay.

The home was dirty. There was a soiled baby diaper in a bedroom drawer, hair in the bed, dog hair everywhere and then when I lifted the toilet to remove the band showing it was cleaned, there was still urine all over it. I felt the home had not been cleaned and was shocked after waiting hours for a response to simply hear I'm sorry. I have rented from this company for years and was happy but this time was not.

We had a wonderful time. The house was decorated with a cowboy theme - loved it! There was plenty of room for our family of 5 to spread out and not feel cramped. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook a full Christmas dinner. The downstairs family room had a foosball table and several board games. Wow!

House was as advertised and clean. Upon arrival, our firewood was not at the house but after a quick call it was immediately resolved. Unfortunately, the wood that was delivered was very wet and would not burn. Other than this trip was fantastic. Just would not purchase the firewood bundle through Blue Ridge get it yourself.

Beautiful views. Convenient location between ski resort and town of beech mountain. The home was spacious with comfortable bedrooms and large deck with hot tub. We had a great weekend in the snow. The roads to get to this home are very narrow and curvy. Driveway is super steep. So, if you don’t have awd/4wd traveling there in snowy conditions would be scary. Some of the roads in neighborhood were closed. My kids had fun sledding down driveway and using hot tub in the snow. We also skied and snowboarded at beech mtn resort which was only about 2 miles away. We had a few issues, but blue ridge rentals were super helpful and we will definitely recommend and rent from them again.

The views were breathtaking! The house was huge and set up perfectly for our three families. We had a great time getting snowed in for the weekend!

Showed up to a tree in the driveway, a dirty house with the cleaners trying to work, water lines had frozen from previous renters, cleaning staff notified management with no response, we tried calling the offices no less than 20 times with no answer no call back. So we spent the 1st day helping the cleaners, using water bottles we bought to try and mop the floors, while trying to find the well and water lines in the middle of a snow storm until we were finally able to use a space heater to get some of the lines thawed enough to get some water flowing late that night. Besides that the house was somewhat stocked in the kitchen missing some things, but a beautiful view and no other issues along the way. But the absolute worst trying to just get someone to answer a phone to get some assistance.

20 minutes before we were scheduled to check-in, after driving for 13 hours, we were told the house wasn't ready. We said we would wait. We had spent a lot of time choosing this particular rental for a number of reasons but they never got the house cleaned. Instead, we had to go to a different house. They offered to give us $150 (which we never received) for our inconvenience. We had to find our own accommodations for the first night of our trip. Eventually, they put us in another house. While the house was nice, it was NOTHING like what we had chosen; not a cabin, not in the same area, not the same bed/bath configuration. They even had the audacity to charge us an additional $200 amenity fee. I wish I had read all the bad reviews about this company and booked with someone else. There are plenty of other places handling Carolina cabin rentals.

Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals kept me well informed of exactly where I was in the rental process and promptly notified me when there was an issue, like the washing machine not working. They also provided me with an unexpected credit due to being a returning customer.
