About Wecasa

Who are we? We are Wecasa. We connect customers with vetted professionals through our website and our app. Since the launch in 2016, we do that in a smart and caring way. How, you might ask ? We develop local businesses We have one dream: make at-home services accessible to everyone everywhere. Whether you are in a city that never sleeps or far out in the countryside Whether you are looking to get shiny nails or shiny floor The Wecasa pros are here. We pay professionals a fair wage 75% of the customer price goes to the pro on average for every order. What about the margin? Do not worry, there isn’t a big castle in Marbella or sparkling watches. The margin helps us finance the VAT, the logistics costs, the team salaries and the marketing investment to build Wecasa’s awareness. Furthermore, we are aligned with the London Living Wage. Wecasa pros are free to choose when they want to work By working with Wecasa, our partners are free to say yes or no to every proposal they receive. They can pick their working hours, their travel area. They are free to develop their customer base without Wecasa or to work with similar app. They are also free to leave the pro community without a reason. Our algorithm rewards every talent – no discrimination We created an algorithm to match pros with customers. For this, we take into account the travel area and the talent in order to favour the best pro. We do not take into account the gender nor the background. It might not be significant for you, but for us (and for them) this means a lot. An example? We are transparent with our partners We communicate to all of our partners how the algorithm works, the score they have and the areas in which they can improve on. We do not point fingers, being transparent is not obvious to all companies. We are an international team Wecasa is a team of 80 people with 60% of women, 17 nationalities and diverse profiles in terms of age, religion, disability, professional or personal background, sexual orientation. We strive to create a motivating and respectful work environment for everyone. Wecasa makes your daily life easier Book in two clicks a hairstyle, beauty, massage or cleaning service. Booking with Wecasa was a serious mistake—one that left me angry, exhausted, and genuinely unsettled. The way they operate is not just incompetent, but deeply unethical and potentially unlawful. They fail to disclose key service details upfront, only revealing crucial information after they’ve taken your money. When confronted, they lie, deflect, and gaslight customers, refusing to take responsibility for their own deceptive practices. Their so-called “customer service” is nothing more than a string of excuses, contradictions, and empty promises. What’s worse, their internal processes are so disorganized and secretive that I have serious doubts about whether their “responsible department” or “legal team” even exists. Given how they blatantly disregard consumer protection laws, I wouldn’t be surprised if regulators start looking into them soon. But the most disturbing part? Their complete lack of concern for customer safety. The way they handled my situation was so reckless, so dismissive, that I was left wondering just how bad things could have gotten if I hadn’t spoken up. Even now, I feel shaken by the experience. I wouldn’t just warn against using Wecasa—I’d urge you to avoid them at all costs. If you book with them, you are taking a risk—with your money, your time, and potentially even your safety. There are plenty of reputable companies out there. Wecasa is not one of them. EDIT - after Wecas’s response: I’m sure that many reading Wecasa’s reply don’t need me to point out their transparent attempt to gaslight further by framing this as a gender discrimination issue, rather than acknowledging their failure to provide key information upfront. Despite me clearly explaining my safety concerns—especially as a survivor of sexual abuse—Wecasa continues to ignore this entirely and instead attempts to paint me as discriminating against men. This is not about capability; it’s about safety and a customer’s right to make an informed choice. I have brothers and nephews who can clean better than me, and I find it offensive that Wecasa would reduce this to a gender debate rather than owning their failure to disclose key service conditions properly. The most telling part? Instead of recognizing that women should have the right to decide who enters their home, Wecasa thinks it’s appropriate to deny that choice, mislead customers, and then try to shame them when they raise valid concerns. A truly ethical company would have acknowledged its mistake, improved its booking process, and ensured customers felt safe in their own homes. Instead, Wecasa continues to double down on dishonesty, manipulation, and outright gaslighting. Their response only reinforces my original warning: Do NOT book with Wecasa.

Amazing service. The cleaner arrived early, despite the short notice and checked she understood what my priorities were. Everything was done to a very high standard. It was smooth and problem free.

I would like to share with my sad experience with Wecasa. I work on Wecasa as hairdresser. Wecasa doesn’t protect the rights of hairdressers. There are a lot of clients who want to get services for free, so they specifically write a complaint on the site to get their money back. Wecasa does not resolve conflicts, does not try to listen to both sides. Therefore, it withdraws your money without your consent and threatens to close your account without any reason. I’m not recommend this app.

Avoid. Would love to know their ‘vetting’ process for cleaners. It’s clear the Wecasa team have no care for what service is offered. We paid £40 for two hours of cleaning. The cleaner was 20minutes late and left 10 minutes early, the flat was poorly cleaned meaning we had to clean it ourselves and a sentimental item was bleached and ruined. When trying to raise with Wecasa you have to speak to an AI bot, then wait a few hours to speak to a human and then it took a few days to be ‘investigated’. They offered £25 off our next clean in response?? - an absolute joke.

Booked my cleaning with a “pro cleaner “ and the service was so bad, house not cleaned properly and cleaner not done what he has been asked to . I had to basically re-clean the house ! Complained about it to customers service and they never got back to me . Avoid at any costs .

I have tried and tried to reschedule a first cleaning. The app and the online website will not accept my password and will also not allow me to change my password as it won't send the appropriate link to my email. I've tried every phone number listed online and their site to get a human, but to no avail. The cleaner is now going to show up tomorrow for a 5.5 hour job and I have to turn him away. If you're seeing this Wecasa, please contact me.

I booked the massage for my husband. He was very happy with how it went. He said that the therapist was really good and professional. He recommends Laura.
