United Kingdom | 10 February 2025After booking a cleaner for 3 hours to have a week off and get the expected better clean that a cleaning company usually provides, I ended up re-cleaning the kitchen as the pro didn’t seem to know how to clean. He turned up on time and was very polite, although his English wasn’t great so despite me competing the pre clean from he struggled to understand. He mopped the floor without hoovering/ properly sweeping it first and didn’t move the bin - so there was a whole patch missed. He didn’t move anything on the work surface so there were still crumbs round the toaster, and in other places and under the table as no chairs were moved. The extract fan was half wiped and mirrors cleaned smeared. He didn’t even move the cleaning stuff I’d put out for him and his own coat off the kitchen table to wipe it down. He seemed to need me to tell him exactly what to do - not just get on with it. In 3 hours I manage to clean the whole house. I didn’t expect that, but what was cleaned I expected to be really thorough. I think I probably got unlucky judging by other reviews - but I suspect there is limited vetting or training by wecasa so you can just take on clients with zero professional experience and and you can’t choose your cleaner based on reviews it’s pot luck who you get. In response to your message I did feedback.

United Kingdom | 09 February 2025I have no idea how this cleaning service is given positive reviews. It’s website that connects you to a cleaner not a cleaning company as it pretends to be. Advertises cleaners as insured - cleaning services are covered by Wecasa, giving you extra peace of mind - but when you go to make a claim it will be rejected if you haven’t made it in 3 days (ridiculous, for numerous reasons) and you will be informed that wecasa bear no responsibility ie their cleaners are not insured. My carefully selected and vetted cleaner sent someone else in his place to do the second clean, without even asking me whether that would be okay. The person he sent didn’t do a good job. I feel ripped off and there is no accountability as there are auto replies rather than customer service.
