The pump and filter was shipped quickly. It arrived 3 days after ordering. Written instructions/manuals were pretty worthless - needs more pictures or diagrams. Telephone help was readily available but often couldn’t relate to the reason for the call. If you could reference a diagram in the manual with the question being posed to the telephone staff it would go much more smoothly. Solution….write a better manual with diagrams.

Deceiving company. They DO NOT ship next day. They DO NOT return under $40. They DO NOT strive to make their customers happy.

I ordered a hayward pool pump and was sent a leaf pool cover.It took five different cust.service reps. and finally a superviser named Brittany actually took care of my problem with my ordered instead of just telling me I would get a email telling me my correct item was being sent and I actually got the pump the next day.This was the first time using your company and if it was not for Brittany it would have been the last. I still have serious concerns regarding your overall lack of cust. serv.so time will tell as I need other items to maintain my pool but not sure if the aggravation is worth it using your company.

I will never do business with Dohenys again. If I am asked my opinion I will give my honest position. My experience resulted in undo stress and inconvenience. I ordered an 18x36 cover. It was backordered, but after speaking with customer support I waited. When it arrived the box said 18x36. I installed it but when pulling it onto my pool, it was 2 feet short. I contacted dohenys, to present my problem. This was an insulting and demeaning experience as I was questioned repeatedly as if I installed it correctly. I was told that I ordered an 18x36 and that is what was shipped. That is true, but the cover was not 18x36, it was 18x34. I was told that has never happened. I was also told that because I installed it on my pool, that it was non returnable. I demanded either a replacement cover or my money back. I went as far as sending in pictures. I was eventually contacted and your solution was to place cover in original box and ship it back by provided FedEx label. Have you ever tried to put a cover back in original box? Good thing I kept the box. What a waste of my time. Now I still have not cover and have to wait to get my money back. I did offer to bring this to dohenys in Wisconsin just so you could measure it in front of me. I felt like customer support"kevin" thought I was not honest. He was being told what to say by a person in the background. I received a product that was not the exact product I ordered. This is still not resolved.

Fast, accurate delivery of our order.

Ordered solar dome and bypass kit and did not need bypass kit it cost $36.99 and I was told I could not return it. WHY I didn’t need or use it. I’m done shopping with Doheny’s.

I ordered my filter and pump on 6/1 didnt get it until 9/7, that alone was aggravating. Then when we went to put it together we realized the base seemed to be off and when we called the person on the line stated oo i see we sent you the wrong size base, I will have the warehouse send you the correct item - this was on 6/8!! My husband called 3 more times regarding this issue to find out that on the 1st call the item wasnt actually ordered, my order was investigated which is a waste of my time and not what the employee stated and to date 6/13/23 I still do not have the correct base. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM - you might end up with the incorrect parts leaving you stranded and the people that answer cant help bc this company knows nothing about what they sell.

Spoke to a rep who says pump would be delivered in 2-4 days. They then sent bill that said pump would come in 7 plus days. I immediately cancelled order vie email. Pump delivered anyway. Have called 4 times and pump is still sitting on my front porch. They keep “escalating” issue with no return calls. Will never buy from them again.

I was able to purchase a solar pool cover of my choosing from Doheny’s that was to my specifications and not a cookie-cutter, this is what we carry, live with it variety. Shipping was quick. Some adjustments were required with Rocky’s Reel System due to the size of my pool cover and the height of the reel to prevent the cover from scraping on the pool deck while reeling it in. Another modification that was required, more plastic grommets needed to be ordered. I needed to add grommets, to attach ropes to the cover, which I use to fold my irregular shaped cover prior to reeling. If not, I’m forced to get in the pool to fold the cover. I noticed warmer water after placing the cover over the pool in only one day. Unfortunately, the warmth was only 6” deep. This will be a long-term heating process while running the pool pump to circulate warm/cold water. Initially, I am satisfied with the solar pool cover and reel system. I will up-date with a long-term review at the end of this swimming season.
