From the very first time going into the Newport shop we have never gone any where else to purchase our beds , and furniture . The salesman Maurizio went above and beyond to help us to select the right things , nothing to much trouble and always has a smile on his face . Bought a double bed recently from Solent Beds & Furniture. Waiting on delivery of this item but my experience in store was excellent. The staff were very helpful without being pushy, they answered all questions I had and helped me decide which was the right frame and mattress for my son. In comparison to another well known bed shop which I also visited, Solent was definitely the more helpful and informative.

Went into your Newport Store yesterday looking for a dining table and chairs. Very pleased to be allowed to discuss our preferred table uninterrupted. Went back today and chose our table and chairs. It's being delivered on a day we have chosen. Staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Paul Hunt at your Sandown showroom was extremely helpful and informative allowing us to make our decision on satisfying our needs. At no time did we feel like we were being “sold” something we did not need or want. The reason we only awarded 4 stars was because we were left with having to arrange disposal of our old mattress.

Having moved from Germany back to the UK for the first time in over 30 years, we didnt know who to see about anything. Solent beds were so helpful and understanding with our needs and little changes made to our orders. Their products are quality goods and reasonably priced. Maurizio, and the team were there every step of the way. Delivery was prompt, orderly and they even tidied up after themselves. Would recommend them every chance I get. ☆☆☆☆☆ 5 stars boys!

We went into to solent beds and furniture with a rough idea of what we wanted. With assistance from a worker in store we were able to find exactly what we were looking for! Good, friendly customer service.. not too pushy in any way! Maurizio was a great help in ensuring we got exactly what we wanted!

Popped into the Newport store last Sat to look at coffee tables. Ordered a lovely coffee table, told it be delivered Weds and will receive a call on the day to advise delivery time and to their word I did! I am very happy with my purchase, the table is and looks superb. Now ive ordered a complete set of bedroom furniture via lake branch where Shane Morey was more than helpful.

From the moment we walked in, to the moment we left (which was about 2 hours later) we were made to feel welcome by Shane and he never put any pressure put on us. So refreshing! We received lots of really good advice about the products we were looking for, along with timescales for delivery and even storage options. Shane demonstrated mechanisms, showed us styles and colours and even checked stock in the warehouse next door for us. We could not fault the service offered and intend to return to purchase even more items as soon as we can! Why buy at an over-priced 'chain' store when a gem of a local store is right there on your doorstep?!

WE ORIGINALLY PURCHASED A ARMCHAIR WHICH ONCE DELIVERED WE FOUND IT UNSUITABLE AFTER A FEW DAYS USE FOR OUR PURPOSE MY WIFE SUFFERS FROM SCIATICA NO PROBLEMS FOR THEM, THEY COLLECTED THE CHAIR THEY GAVE US A CREDIT NOTE FOR THE WHOLE AMOUNT TOWARDS ANOTHER PURCHASE WHICH WE HAVE JUST HAD DELIVERED BY A COUPLE OF GREAT EMPLOYEES WITH A GREAT ATTITUDE TO CUSTOMER SERVICE. VERY GOOD ALL ROUND SERVICE FROM ALL AT SOLENT BEDS ETC

Furniture arrived flat packed which was not mentioned anywhere in the description.

On my first visit to Solent Beds & Furniture, I had the pleasure of meeting David and Paul, these 2 Gents, I found to be very Professional, helpful, kind, polite and knowledgeable. They are a great asset to there employers, as well as very easy to talk too.
