I am in my late 50’s, somewhat on the heavy side, live in a busy and crowded London and tend to only need my hybrid car once in a while for the odd jaunt to the countryside. My 40 minute commute into the city would have been on the Northern Line but with Covid19 lockdown I realised quickly that things would have to change. Google tells me it’s a 40 minute commute by bike also so nothing lost. Instead of sweating on the tube I wouldn’t need to sweat on an e-bike.Two months later I received my Furo X. It was straightforward to set up and get going. I tried it on Hampstead Heath, being careful to only use it on cycle paths and it was a fantastic experience: it assisted me brilliantly up the steep slopes and managed the gravel and holes with comfort. I dinged my bell and walkers actually thanked me for being a considerate rider and keeping my speed appropriate to the level of people traffic. The bike was easy to control at slow speeds. Needless to say when you haven’t had a bike for 30 years you need to make adjustments: I had to retrofit a comfortable seat and acquire some bike pad underwear just to make a rugged ride less sore... but I know that will pass. (But let’s face it I would have had that problem with any bike). You also need to invest in a Gold Sold Secure ground anchor, chains and D Lock as this is a cool bit of kit. I am a big strong bloke and the folding mechanism works well but it is still quite a bulky beast to carry if you are not used to it. I made a 1 metre Velcro strap that allowed me to bind it better together for carrying. I also managed to rig up a GPS tracker hidden in the frame and security etched it. But the key for me is that I can store it in a small space at home (definitely a city bike made for small apartments). The key for getting people comfortable with using bikes again is to have assistance to get up to speed - often the hardest part of riding a Boris bike - and this does it for me. Once over the 15.5mph speed you are on your own and frankly that is fine - as I am happy to move into the top gear. The gear ratios are sufficient - it’s not a racer so 9 is good enough to pull my weight and as a commuter I don’t sweat at all. The indicator is a bit of an add on gadget that isn’t easy to see whether it has switched off in bright sun...but it works well if you don’t fancy putting out your arm. Brakes and gear system is good quality and what I would expect. One thing I think important- the wheel size: they are big enough so that you feel like you are stable. Smaller wheels just don’t feel good enough for my big frame.... the Furo X is perfect in this regard. It’s the right balance of portability and riding efficiency. I love it.

It took a while for my bike to be delivered due to logistical issues but it was worth the wait. The bike arrived with minimal assembly required and the tools needed to completely assemble the bike are included in the box. I’m really happy that they have included other accessories like front and rear mudguards, rear pannier rack, bike stand, reflectors, lights and even a bell at no extra cost. The bike can be folded in 3 easy steps though it took me some time to get used to folding and unfolding the bike. Once folded, it can be carried or pushed for easy transport and they also included a strap to keep the bike from swinging while being carried or pushed. It would be so much better if they have implemented magnets instead of using a strap to keep the bike together in its folded state. As it is a folding bike, storing it is effortless. I don’t need to leave the bike outside as I could just store it indoors which is safer thus giving me a peace of mind that my bike won’t be stolen. This is my first time riding an electric bike and I can say that with its powerful motor, going uphill is a breeze. I always look forward to commuting to and from work as riding this bike is indeed very enjoyable. The customer support is superb as they have always replied to my emails and queries. My only complain about the bike is that the rear light is not as bright as I want it to be and that it needs to be charged separately as it is not integrated into the bike’s electrical system. In summary, I am very satisfied with my purchase. It ticked all the things I want in a bike: -foldable -light -easy to store and transport -has a powerful motor -has very efficient brakes (hydraulic disc brakes) -has an adjustable handle bar and seat post -has all the accessories I need -and its black

Very good service, bike came when they said it would. I had to replace a flat light indicator battery but not too much trouble.

Really happy with my new Furo X Max. It did take quite some time to come as a result of the lockdown, but now it's arrived I am really impressed. The fold system is much easier than I thought it would be and it rides like a full size bike. Getting it setup took me a little while the first time but once on the bike very simple to use the computer and adjust the battery assistance levels. It rides really well with the battery assistance at zero as well which shows the quality of the bike. Only one gripe would be that it would be nice to have something to hold the bike together once folded down

I have purchased Furo scooter from this company. The scooter was exactly what it says - light, powerful and easy to use. In my case the scooter had one miner defect, so I had to return it back. Customer service of this company is really good: very prompt response, well organised collection. This is the company you can trust and I would purchase from them again and would recommend them to anyone else!

Il ne manque pas grand chose pour avoir une étoile de plus mais plusieurs points à retenir : Le vélo fait le job, mais : 1/ pas assez transportable. Une fois plié le vélo ne reste pas bien en place. C’est assez difficile de le tenir d’une main sans qu’il s’ouvre. Ils m’ont donné un scratche Velcro mais ce n’est pas du tout pratique. Et pour le poser par terre il n’est pas assez stable. 2/ le bouton d’allumage au niveau de la batterie ne tient pas en place et s’est délogé de sa place. Je vais devoir mettre de la colle pour qu’il tienne. Un peu dommage vu le prix du vélo. 3/ la selle du vélo n’est pas du tour confortable. Dommage qu’on ait pas le choix du type de selle lors de l’achat du vélo. J’ai du en acheter une autre. Encore une fois, dommage vu le prix élevé du vélo. 4/ les lumières du vélo ne sont pas reliées à la batterie. Dommage.

Just received my bike, it is as described light and sleek, but much more powerful than I expected. Couldn't be any happier with my purchase!

A great bike, probably one of the best purchases I made this year.

I ordered the scooter but they don t say nothing that is not in stock and is gonna came after one month .take the money but you do not have the product.😤

We have receive the scooter with a broken piece : the stem which allowed to deploy the Fuze's handlebar. We hope have some solution by the after-sale service. Otherwise, the Fuze is really fun, and ride well.

Emailed regarding a delivery date and was told August after asking for a more specific time to expect it as in end of August middle start it’s a long time to wait considering I’ve already been waiting for all of July as they hide the date of delivery in light gray font not great would love an update on what’s going on

Delivery was delayed quite understandably because of Covid 19 disruption but I was kept informed throughout. I was advised of the problem, the reason and what was being done to attend to it. Excellent communication. Would definitely use this company again.

Customer service is great and quick. What would be great, to add "how to UNfold handles" and how to "FOLD again scooter", there is also a lack of some assembling scooter videos on the internet.

After the longest 4 months of my life, due to covid, my furo system scooter finally arrived! I'm not going to lie.....it was well worth the wait and couldn't be more happy with it in everyway. It's by far the best scooter I've come across so far. It's extremely well built and its performance is exceptional including the brakes, lights and suspension. By far the best £750 I've spent in a long while and if you're into scooters I highly recommend it.

Little upset that the handle bars keep coming loose and the creaking from the steering and the mileage is no where near what it said I have to charge every 2 days and I only do just over 2 miles to and from work it actually ran out of charge on my way to work on the third day

It does what it says on the box. Good, well-built, safe, brakes front and back, lights. Locals in Italy are impressed, asking where i got it and how much i paid for it thinking it was double what i actually paid. The security system is v useful and I will add a physical locking system such as a D-lock. It has to be the "Bentley" of e-scooters!

Pretty decent scooter I purchased the Fuze Max definitely does 40KPH but not sure about the range on the Max though!!! Need to check the bolts regularly as they do loosen but does come with a handy little tool pouch. Furosystems great customer service to date, only thing was the delivery date took two months but worth it!

Timely information given as to progress of order. Well packed. UPS Delivery polite and considerate. Best of all was the item itself. Lived up to expectations. A well engineered piece of escooter
