I purchased a Furo system electric scooter in December 2019. I have had nothing but issues with the scooter and the overall after service has been very poor indeed. The front forks have become so loose it’s scary to drive and caused me to have a serious accident. The swing is enormous and unsteady and despite being sent back to the supplier to be rectified it’s still worse than ever. The Allan key nuts are rounded and rusted over so can’t tighten. Despite me telling the supplier it was returned in exactly the same condition. The brakes hardly worked at all and could not correct myself. Again the supplier returned the scooter with brakes fixed and now the front wheel does not move freely ! The rear mudguard was damaged in the accident and I was expecting the supplier to repair or replace. It was returned exactly the same condition only now it constantly taps loudly against the back wheel! The left hand handlebar has never been able to fold up , again returned exactly the same. When the scooter was returned last week the battery ran out after only 15 KM despite being fully charged. The maximum speed I could reach was only 25 KMH! I have constantly sent e mails to the supplier stressing all these faults and the service responses are truly awful ! It’s apparent you can’t talk to anyone by phone only e mail and you are therefore in the lap of the gods to when and if they reply I have had nothing but issues with the scooter and the service. On Wednesday of last week I received an e mail saying would Friday suit for the second collection , I responded saying yes , waited in all day without any further communication , quite appalling! I only want a replacement or fixed properly and this seems impossible for the supplier to achieve. I am very disappointed in the product and service from this company and feel very much left in the lurch ! Regards Lindsay

I am so happy with my Etura - And it was delivered so quickly! Went to try it first a few weeks before making the purchase and also came by the warehouse today as I did not do the factory reset correctly. Eliott has been so helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun compact ebike!

This is for the e tura.It would be a great bike if it wasn't for the fact that the bike wheel is not strong enough to handle a guy of average weight. I am 75 kg and the back wheel simply cannot take the bumps in the road. The first time I rode it the spokes on the back wheel became loose. I complained to the company and they where good enough to send me a replacement which looked thinner than the first wheel. I put it on and went for a ride and after 6 miles from home again the back wheel was wobbling. After a while I stopped and 2 spokes had broken. I was on a normal road keeping to the cycle lanes.I had to take a taxi back because it was impossible to ride. WHY not spend a bit more on incorporating a strong solid back wheel since it takes the whole weight of your body???? Pity since I loved the bike. I am happy to keep the bike but only if they can supply me with a decent back wheel or will insist on getting my money back which they have promised since it is still under guarantee. This shouldn't happen on a bike that cost nearly £1200. Come on FuroSystem. Get it together will you. I am still currently waiting for a response. I emailed them 2 days ago.

Furosystems Etura My wife and I live in the USA and we use these bikes for recreation. The ride of the Etura is smooth and the seat is comfortable and so is the handle bar. The quality of the build of the bike feels top notch. And the bike looks awesome and is fun to ride. The bike is very light and I can easily carry the it up the two flights of stairs necessary to get to my apartment. When people pick it up, they actually say “wow”! The bikes are so small that I can put our two Eturo bikes into the back of my Mazda 5 hatchback with the back seats down without a hassle. In fact, I also have room to put in my traveling dog crate so I can bring my two dogs along should I care too. Some negative comments are: The screen is so small you can’t read it. The bike should come in more than one color. I bought two Etura’s, one for me and one for my wife and I was frustrated because I wanted his and her bikes. I personally could not get my signal lights to work. However, I saw a video review of this bike posted on the Furosystems website and in there the reviewer indicated that the signal lights were too small to be seen from behind. So, I figured it was more of a gimmick thing than a useful thing anyway and I do not use it. (I am not good mechanically, although I did assemble the rest of the bike correctly because the video instructions that Furosystems provides are exceptional) About me. I am currently 5’11 ¾ “, a young senior with a serious heart condition with reasonable balance. I was not feeling good and I wondered how can I take my wife to cool places and hike around and go sightseeing when my ability to walk is being so diminished? For me personally wheelchairs are out of the question. Then I thought of the tiny commuter folding ebike. It’s the coolest wheelchair that you will ever see. After much research and trial and error, I hit on the light weight Etura. And I am so glad that I did. Now you will often see my wife and I out riding on beautiful days with the wind in our hair and big smiles on our faces as we explore and enjoy lovely scenic places. (I first purchased another brand folding ebike that was advertised as being 26.1 pounds. But it was actually 39 pounds without the battery. Too heavy for me to carry up my apartment stairs without almost fainting) It seems which bike is right for you comes down to how you are going to use it. For my wife and I the Etura fits our needs magnificently. I highly recommend the Etura!

I received my eTura 5 months ago but never opened it until now. I'm 79 so not as mobile as I used to be. I wanted something that would help me get outside more, but can't cycle normally because of my arthritis. Since the lockdown in London I haven't been able to travel because I don't want to get on buses, and I don't have a car, and I can't walk for too long. The eTura has been perfect because I can still get outside and go to buy my food, and I can ride it home again. The motor makes pedalling very easy, I feel like I'm 50 again.

Me voilà donc rassuré. C'est dans la capacité de corriger les erreurs humaines que l'on juge la qualité d'une organisation. J'accorderai la cinquième étoile après reception de mon F-X si tout se déroule comme je l'espère.

I received my bike just prior to lockdown so I didn't get a chance to use it for its intended purpose, which was for travelling to the station. Having taken it for a few rides however I am impressed by how well it rides. It is very nippy once the battery kicks in. Even on the lowest setting it makes a definite difference to the amount of effort needed to pedal. On the first ride I thought I would test it on a trip to the supermarket. With a couple of heavy bags of shopping on the back it was an effortless ride back home, even up the hill. which I normally can barely make on my normal hybrid bike. The main negative points are that when folded it is not particularly compact and I am really wondering if I will be able to easily carry this on and off the train to London. It could do with some sort of fixing clasp to hold it together and ideally if it was possible to wheel this along whilst closed it would make a huge difference. These points seem to be common in the feedback from others. The key selling point of this bike, apart from the folding and electric power, is the lower weight compared to other folders. However, a heavier bike that is easier to carry or transport would in my opinion trump the lower weight of the Furo. I am considering getting some sort of carry bag to help with this. Even if this does not get used for commuting as such it is still worth buying, although I would be tempted to get a regular non-folding e-bike instead. In summary, good build quality, powerful motor, easy to fold/un-fold but could do with tighter fold and an easier way to transport for commuters.

I ordered my scooter on March 23, they talked to the furosystem and told me that they would send it as soon as possible, suddenly the scooter was lost and I didn't receive it until April 27 with the broken rear fender and very damaged packaging, everything inside was broken, it looked like someone was opening the box and doing something, i returned it to London headquarters for repair I received it again yesterday with a broken rear fender and a broken remote control and a bell and I have to return it again, the scooter is like new as I was assured and half of the screws are rusted, I will try to get my money back because this scooter is terribly bad and not worth the price! ! how can it be new if a few things no working ??I am very disappointed with this company ...

I had a number of problems initially so I packed it up as best I could which is a real hassle and returned it. 1, The battery charging socket dropped inside the battery. I couldn't charge it. 2. Noisy scraping gears and chain. 3. Missing characters on the display 4, Spoke nipple missing and rattling around inside the wheel. 5, The indicators not working. The bike came back with a new larger 10.5 Ah battery (which I requested and paid extra for) and a new display. So all good there. The gears were still a bit clunky but I live with that. All was fine until a new problem occurred. This one has been annoying me for some time ie CREAKING AND CRACKING from the head tube area. I was advised to apply carbon grease which I had to do myself as the local Halfords pulled out of our High St due to cuts. It solved the the problem I was so happy. However it is back and I can't get rid of it. Having to repair a brand new bike rather than taking it back to the shop is a consequence of buying on line. Great until there are problems. I'm stuck with a bike costing nearly two thousand pounds which it's great to ride but is making a most annoying noise. Cycling should be fairly silent. I emailed Elliot about this problem he said it's wear and tear and is not covered by the warranty. The bike it's less than a year old and I have only done 400 miles just going mostly locally to the shops. Am I the only person with this problem? If I am then I have bought duff rogue bike.
