Seat provided is much to narrow for my wife and conversion kit being installed on Thursday two weeks after I queried why a slim line seat was installed New conversion kit installed today and very pleased by workmen However considering how I had to make numerous phone calls and still unhappy why correct seat size was not installed originally which resulted in my wife who suffers with Dementia and was very upset how uncomfortable the stairlift was for the first two weeks I feel compensation should be paid

Lovely man came and serviced the stairlift for my mother

Gramma Stairlifift company have recently finished installing one of their lifts into my home. They finished on time and the fitter was very polite throughout the work.

Everything went really smooth. The only slight disappointment is that the lift is mounted directly on to the stair carpet .

The survey process was very thorough and led to a pretty well trouble free and smooth installation. While here the estimater was able to generate an accurate image of she stairlift in situ on his tablet. On the day of the fitting both the fitter and the electrician let me know when they were on their way and left the house clean and tidy after making sure I knew how to safely work my lift. I’d recommend this product and company to anyone challenged by their stairs.

Good quick service

We are making this report because we were asked to do so by the company. The stairlift is of good quality; the performance from the office is poor. The service was paid for in advance, but the company would undertake the work on one morning only and refused to consider any other time. The engineer arrived before the agreed appointment. It was an inconvenient morning for us and we consider the lack of options unreasonable. Had we not accommodated Stannah on that morning, it appears very likely that they would not have honoured their commitment to service the stairlift. This does not seem a good way to treat customers, and we suspect that they perform rather better with public sector organisations than with private installations. Although the engineer seems competent to undertake the work it is unclear whether we could recommend the company because they seem so reluctant to fulfil what they are obliged to do. We should like to hear from the Stannah about the difficulty they caused in making the booking, especially as we are very reluctant to provide indifferent feedback, but we suspect that they will not contact us.
