Would not recommend to anyone trying to run a business. None of the value-add promises are actually followed. We submit everything they need to complete monthly books within the first two business days of the month and they are still months behind on getting our books caught up. It's gotten so bad that it is preventing us from running our businesses. Complete disorganization at Bench right now and month long delays. I'll be asked to multiple the same documents multiple times. I check-in weekly just to be told they are overwhelmed and unable to deliver complete books at this time. Avoid at all costs!

For our young business, bench is the best option for taxes and accounting. The accountant is available when I have questions, is helpful and works with me to solve issues. Great value at a stage when that really matters.

I have had a terrible experience with Bench. I used them in 2023 and asked for my financials in Feb. 2024. I was just told they will not be completed in time for tax filing. I also don’t have a timeline for when I will have my financials. I have been communicating with them daily and it will be 7 weeks with no access. It has been a terrible experience.

Scout is fantastic. I don't need to worry when it comes to great bookkeeping. Easy to schedule meetings with her to touch base, and all of my books are right there on the platform. Total visibility. Everyone on the bench team has been super helpful and seems like they know their stuff. I do wish they integrated with Quickbooks. And wish they were a bit more direct about estimated taxes -- when they were due, how much I should pay, etc. But otherwise I am quite satisfied with my experience.

Everyone was very helpful and easy to communicate with. There was only one issue where our landlord needed a certain form from us that the Bench team was not equipped to handle so for a time we were trying to figure that out ourselves. Once I reached out to the Bench team about how lost we were, they actually took the time to schedule a Zoom and walk me through how to file the form we needed to file online through a website. This was very helpful as we are first time business owners and it was our first year going through tax season. Overall our filing for our business was very easy and straight forward. Due to the book keeping throughout the year they were able to track everything and send year-end reports that were very organized and transparent.
