They are regularly late with my bookkeeping, and I asked for a change in bookkeeper, which was ignored. I got my tax packet for 2024 taxes in April of 2024!

Bench has been one of the best services/softwares I’ve signed up for since starting my business in 2017 (6.5 years ago)! Bookkeeping is not only a headache for the business owner, but getting it done correctly is vitally important for your taxes. Esther is always responsive and will get on calls with my tax guy as needed, her and the team always go above and beyond!! Highly recommend!

Stay Away from Bench! Been with Bench for 3 years, they are always behind on the Bookeeping but this year is a joke. We submitted all documents Jan 5th and we still do have the 2023 books completed which caused us to file an extension. No communication from team despite multiple follow ups and no ETA provided. Bench was good when we started but we will be changing Bookeeping to someone who can be reliable. Hard to run a business if you can't get your books done within a reasonable time.

I have worked with the team at Bench for both my bookkeeping and taxes for several years now and it has really made managing the financial side of my business a breeze! Everything that needs done is handled quickly and with very little need for me to get involved.

It has been 4 months since I have received confirmation from Bench regarding refunds for tax and bookkeeping services they never finished or provided. I have not received any updates after reaching out multiple times and I have not received any refunds for services not completed. Still out $8K and can't get a response or refund. Stay as far away from Bench as you can.

I have really enjoyed working with bench accounting-- it has been exactly what I needed for my real estate business. I love the convenience of being able to shoot over all my receipts, sync up my accounts and know that someone who's much better at me at book-keeping is keeping track of it all. I've had really great account managers, and when I wasn't happy with them, the company was good about finding someone who was a great fit. The only reason it isn't a 5 star is b/c the prices keeps going up quite significantly, and in a few years, I've had to change 3 account managers since they leave the company. The company probably needs to pay them better!

They are ridiculously slow with monthly books. Even for tax reports - I've had to file an extension because they are so behind. RUN AWAY. There is no AI and it's completely false marketing behind this "platform". Stick to an old-school accounting firm where they actually can book a call with you within a week.

Incredibly frustrating. I paid Bench Accounting over $5000 to do my bookkeeping, give me access to a tax advisor, and file my taxes. It is now April 16, 1 day past taxes due, and they have not filed my taxes or an extension. I now am liable to the government for tax penalties due to them being late on filing my taxes. They have been bad at communicating, frequently just saying "I will pass this along to so-and-so" they have regularly asked me to provide documents and information that I have already provided. Literally they can scroll up in the chat on the side of their accounting software and see I provided them with the exact info they are asking for. The only thing they have continually contacted me about is asking for me to renew their services, pay them money, or get referral credits by telling friends. This is ridiculous. I will never recommend them, a waste of time, a waste of money, and now I have to deal with the paying extra money to the IRS thanks to Bench Accountings Failure. 4/17/24 update: They still have not contacted me directly, but replied on TrustPilot saying I should contact them. I have emailed them and will update if they resolve my issue and offer a fair refund, or if they continue to treat me with no respect or care for my business.

I run a startup, and we experiment with different business models a lot. The team at Bench is making it easy for us to categorize our transactions, and all of our payment accounts are integrated with Bench. It takes me no more than 30 minutes every month to review everything. Our account leads are helpful, friendly, and prompt. I recommend Bench to other founders. One admin headache less!

We starte dto work with Bench as a C Corp 7 months ago and we paid every month regularly monthly fees. We had no banking transaction on 2023 so the simplest accounting and Tax return File you can imagine but they could not deliver it on 15th April. And they don't tell you that their service fee does not cover Tax Return to IRS till last day of 15th April for non resident shareholders. They are just a software company and no knowledge on book keeping and tax return filing as they could not help us even on simple C Corp Tax File Extension Application (they have not done before :(( ) No one can explain me why we paid 300 USD per month ...
