The service is good value for money and for the most part books are managed promptly. There are busy seasons when I'd like to see a faster turnaround, so that's an area that could improve. The team is easy to work with and make themselves available for calls which is particularly helpful for a new entrepreneur so I don't have to completely rely on messages but can speak to an actual person and ask questions. I would recommend Bench to small businesses and new entrepreneurs in particular. You get value for money.

I was told that my view was going to be "live" but it never was. In fact it was usually an entire month or more behind. Also, their system was counting some of my income twice and they didn't notice until I found it. They said it was a technical error, but I feel their bookkeeper should have noticed the error in review since they say that they go through bank statements for validation. From then on, I never had confidence in the numbers and spent hours double checking everything myself. Then I was assured 2 months ago that my year end financials were almost complete and just in final review. When I contacted them yesterday asking for my final 2023 numbers, they seemed *surprised* that I had a tax day deadline. They called it *my* deadline. Then they *rushed* me my year end package 7 days before tax day so that I can do my taxes. They literally told me it was a rush so they couldn't do all the normal review. This company does bookkeeping. How are they not prepared for tax day? I left 2 voicemails asking for someone to call me back. No one ever did. I asked my contact in the chat to call me, but she said she is unavailable until after tax day. I am vehemently frustrated with the company. I do not recommend.

Very convenient to be able to pull up your books wherever and whenever you want from the app. Bookkeepers are responsive and timely. Would reccomend.

AVOID BENCH at all costs. I have been with them for many years and now I am at my breaking point. They are behind for tax season by MANY MONTHS and I don't get replies for days from my bookkeeper. I finally got on a call with her and she said that they are asking clients to post positive reviews on Trust Pilot in order to push down the old ones. I will not give into this scheme and feel compelled to tell my truthful experience. I am still waiting for my 2023 package and it is nowhere in sight.
