This employee of Bench.co knew PPP inside and out! Her name is Mackenzie Ford, and she answered all my questions without any hesitation – and they were not easy ones because I had asked these questions to several other experts at five different companies (including two bank managers and their go-to's) who each had their share of ums and uhs and hesitations. But not Mackenzie at Bench.co. Her advice was given accurately without hesitation, almost as though she herself had written the rules. There have been a LOT of changes and revisions in the last few months after the first PPP rules were given. The terms alone can scare even the stalwart (eg "First PPP interim final rule", "second interim final rule", "Third interim final rule" plus "Changes to the third interim final rule" and various "additional criteria and requirements" and "Program Temporary Changes" along the way), so it's been more than a challenge for anyone to keep up with "the latest" in everything. For many days I've been searching fifty-plus websites (including IRS, SBA), wanting to be sure what to do. So I'm happy to say that the information given by Mackenzie (and also Bench.co in their excellent PPP videos) was clear, straight-forward and accurate to the moment given. I checked what she said and it lined up perfectly with the FederalRegister.gov archived documents (see for example Pages 36997-37000 of document number 13293 [85FR36997] regarding loan forgiveness). Bench is a time saver! I used to run quickbooks online and do everything myself, but as our business grew I wanted a software solution that allows me to focus on other areas. I was able to get accurate accounting and reports, and when I need to contact our rep at Bench it's easy and quick. I'd recommend Bench for any small business. The only drawbacks are the delay for reporting on the previous month, which is usually prepared about 3 weeks into the next month due to our credit card cycle.

Referring to Bench book keeping: The dashboard interface is excellent and gives me the info i need when i need it. the book keepers are also very polite, friendly and very customer oriented. Response times wasn't all so great. sometimes i keep repeating my questions to get an answer and sometimes i get an answer after few days (happened few times already). Referring to Bench Accounting at WorkLayer: Excellent service & dashboard interface. And excellent response times from the CPA. couldn't ask for anything better than that.
