Low ball offer on an expensive bike that has hardly been used and payable in store credit. **Updated as per Cycle Exchange reply, I accept that it is an older model, but I am struggling to find even the new one in large stock numbers and for no where near the reductions levels you seem to be implying. Given as you felt the need to justify I would argue that there is an element of service missing. Good luck with your business model.**

Some little mix ups with organising delivery but staff very easy to deal with. Delivery was very pleasant. Driver a cyclist himself with nice conversation and a very nice experience. Shame the the gears weren’t very well indexed - I will have to rework because the gears are jumping on first ride. However, bike is excellent and very good value.

Not the best first time customer experience as the security tag was left in the garment so sent back for full refund. But a genuine error I think and sometimes these things happen. Returns process was easy!

I wrote a previous review which I thought merited 3 stars, mainly due to a few niggles which diluted the overall buying experience. I am now writing an update and upping my review to 5 stars unequivocally. Here are the reasons; 1. Cycle exchange wrote back very promptly and addressed my concerns. 2. They explained in clear terms the reason for the downgrade in exchange value for my particular bike. 3. An apology was made concerning the packaging had come adrift, which as it happened, was not their fault and the fact that they try and minimise use of plastic wrapping materials. 4. They mentioned having used different couriers depending on the circumstances. Parcelforce’s lack of communication is out of their control, which I understand. 5. Finally, as a gesture of goodwill, they offered me a £100 refund. So, In summary, that is fantastic customer service and reminder that sometimes, the customer him/her self needs reminding that certain things are outside the reseller’s control. I totally get that and take it in the right spirit. Well done to Cycle Exchange. Many other companies would do well to look at this and follow the example.
