Cycle Exchange arranged a new battery directly from Fazua without any fuss - covered under their 3 month warranty. You can buy with confidence from this very professional and trustworthy company and you can even use your Halfords cycle to work voucher with them.

Really blown away by the service the guys at the cycle exchange have provided. Ordered my bike on the Friday with the personal drop off service to your door. Expecting it to turn up maybe a week or so later (as I’m located in Liverpool) but to my surprise the bike turned up on the Monday, with a great service from the driver. I did have a little niggle with the bike, BUT this being said. The guys couldn’t have been faster in getting this sorted. Great customer service that goes above and beyond. Would definitely recommend to anyone on the fence. Would use again in a heat beat! Thanks guys!

orderd a frameset never received it had to get a refund but this meant i was left with new parts in a box and ni frame to put them no gutted and cant find a replacement

I had seen a bike on their website that I had always wanted and saw that they offered a part exchange service. I sent an email enquiry and an hour or so later received what I considered was a very fair price for my bike. The deal was made within minutes, and I only had to wait over the weekend to swap my old bike for my dream build. Exceptional service throughout, and made very easy. Highly recommended.

I was very disappointed with the quote offered to me for part exchange of my bike. I had A GIOS cinquentenario that I had from new and kept in perfect condition with Dura Ace 11 speed groupset and a new chainset 50/34. They offered only £500 which was <25% of the original purchase price. I asked for a quote for an exchange with a Centurion gigadrive carbon frame bike with Ultegra 11-speed groupset and FSA bars and stem and DT Swiss RR585 wheelset and they offered a pittance of £200 for the complete bike. The price offered was 14% of the purchase price paid by me in 2019. The individual parts sold separately on this bike would fetch more than that second-hand. It would have been better for the cycle exchange to simply say that they could not accept the bike rather than offer a ridiculously low price. They clearly must make a colossal profit if they downvalue other bikes that they take in exchange and then sell later I expressed my dissatisfaction and got a reply that did not endear itself to me. I would strongly recommend that sellers be careful of their part exchange offers.

I came across this site looking for an e-bike and was particularly intrigued by being able to part exchange my existing Mountain Bike for an E-Bike. After clicking the "Trade In" button on the bike I was looking to trade in against and going through a lengthy process of providing information and pictures of my immaculate, 6 month old MTB, it transpires that my bike, for unspecified reasons would not be eligible to be traded in against the E-Bike I was interested in and I was instead invited to choose a "manual MTB" to trade-in against. That's 30 minutes of my time wasted that could have been saved by simply advertising these exclusions on their website. Edit: they ask in their response how it gets to 30 mins, I’d ask them to see how long it takes to find the website, read about the bike, the process, get their bike out into a photographable position, take pics, transfer them to the computer and fill out the form rather than estimating how long it takes to fill out a form for someone familiar with it with pictures ready to upload.
