Their terms & conditions are clear to keep bikes locked inside (eg) your private residence overnight. Although I met these terms for overnight storage I refused to charge an electric bike inside the house in case the battery caught fire. Charging was done outside with the bike fixed to an immovable object and a gold standard lock around frame and wheels; weather protected by a purpose-made tent. Therefore, as per their terms, the insurance claim was not met when the bike was stolen at 8pm from a private back yard. More importantly, this company refused to listen to what seemed a sensible solution to reducing fire risk for an hour or so before overnight storage. On that, I will not be renewing as long as their policy directs owners of electric bikes to bring them inside (wherever that is) and does not distinguish risk while charging. In light of the increase in cases of battery charging that ends in property damage or human tragedy, anyone with an electric bike should seriously consider the credibility of an insurance company that is not prepared to more rationally balance one risk against another.

Very easy to buy and the policy documents were really basic and understandable without reading through loads of jargon. Good price and discount for recommending friends. VERY HAPPY!

Took out a pay monthly plan but don't the full amount was debited, meaning I had both. Eventually managed to cancel the DD side.. Not a great start.. Going to get a diamond lock as it's an electric bike got it's not clear if you have prove you've invested in suitable security for policy
