We placed two orders for Christmas gifts and found the choice of products and the price range excellent. The goods were delivered on time and the tracking system was very efficient. The only reason for holding back one star is that we waited a few days to order a product that was sold out but which we were told would definitely be back in stock - it failed to arrive. We selected something else that we were very happy with but were slightly disappointed and worried then that it would not be delivered for Christmas (happily it was). It would have been better to say that arrival of the product couldn't be guaranteed. The customer service agent did suggest other products which were outside our budget. Better to recommend things closer to budget if something not available. Overall, we were very happy as were the recipients of the gifts. We will use again and we have no hesitation recommending WineOnline.ie to our family and friends.

Ordering experience was great and Will offered to substitute the bottles of white for a red of equal value. By Friday afternoon, there was no wine and no word from the company. I called and they told me honestly (which was appreciated) that they had no idea where our order was- they would look and call back. 3 phone calls (from me) later, they confirmed they would refill it and deliver it by Saturday. They came Friday night, without the exact order but wine got there anyway. I think they are still working out the kinks in the process. Very nice but not reliable.

The staff followed up with an alternative via e mail which was good, but subsequent phone call where i requested pricing on some additional alternatives were not followed up. Hence no purchase ☹

Ireland | 22 December 2017Ordered a special bottle of champagne, it wasn't available and instead of informing me of that they simply delivered a totally different vintage which is worth approx €70 less based on other websites. When I telephoned all they said they could do was take it back. With one working day to go before Christmas I think this is an absolutely appalling way to treat a customer spending €200. Changed their website after the event to reflect the new vintage but have a screenshot of order and email also confirms it. No time to go about doing anything else and they didn't offer any real solution or part refund based on the value of the item. Will never order from this shop again and advise others to look elsewhere!

I was offered a replacement, which was good. My replacement was not confirmed, despite me chasing. My gift was delivered and I still do not know what was delivered! Not what I was expecting. I will not be ordering again.
