United Kingdom | 28 October 2017Awful customer service Was shipped a damaged item, very unclear returns policy on their website. Sent the item back at significant personal cost and they refused to cover the return postage. In this market it’s almost unheard of to encounter a returns policy which isn’t free. They may be (marginally) cheaper than the competition in some respects but I would pay more for customer service. Go with John Lewis - at least you get 5 years cover on electricals!

United Kingdom | 06 October 2017The website works well, the confirmation come in minutes and they book the delivery for next day. Then the nightmare started. Palletways is the company responsible for the delivery and the service is terrible! They tried to deliver once, no one was at home. Didn't left a note, never call to rebook it. After a few days I called them, asking to deliver same day in the afternoon or Saturday morning, but they couldn't. They don't work in Saturdays!!!! a consumer company that provides delivery services doesn't work on Saturdays! So trying to receive my BBQ, but they set a day but can't guarantee a time, or even a period! They are asking me to spend a whole business day at home waiting for the delivery. Must be a joke!

United Kingdom | 15 August 2017Bought on Thursday for next day delivery for a party on Saturday. Stayed in all day, was told it would be between 1600 and 1700. Then told at 1630 that they would not be delivering it till the next day, couldn't give us a time, etc. BBQ will not help, they blame the delivery people, who don't help either. Considering the helpful competition, I just wouldn't bother with these.

Liked Dawsons site as they were very clear what was in stock and what wasn't (unlike another site where it was only after I completed my order and paid that I later received an email informing me some items would not be available for 4 months!) Once ordered the crockery was dispatched quickly by Dawsons and arrived within the hour slot I had been texted. Items were very well packed and not a single breakage - absolutely delighted with the products and service.

United Kingdom | 08 August 2017Very poor customer service and very slow delivery We bought a garden furniture set in the sale that is always on , despite it saying sale ends in x number of days. They say in stock but , if thats the case why did it take 4 weeks for delivery. If you email them to ask where your order is you will have to wait at least 2 days for a reply , then they lie and say its been dispatched when clearly it hasnt . Ill be avoiding Dawsons and suggest you do too.

United Kingdom | 14 June 2017At first i wasn't too sure about this company as there weren't many reviews online, and some of them were fairly mixed however i decided to give them a try. I bought a kitchenaid cook processor for £399 the only other place that sold them was john lewis for £499 so for £100 difference i felt it was worth a shot. I am very glad i did as the confirmation and dispatch emails arrived very quickly and the order arrived early the next day and i was surprised to find a free decanter set in with the order too, all the items were well packaged and looked great. So far I'm extremely pleased with this company and would highly recommend it as they offered much greater service than the larger chains, and i'll definitely be buying more items from there in the future.

United Kingdom | 09 June 2017Dawson's customer service is really lacking. I ordered a product online and it turned up with parts missing. I was sent the missing parts in the post but they didn't fit and I had to arrange a replacement. Collection and delivery are separate apparently so I had to wait in on 2 whole days- they won't give delivery times either and the collection turned up at 6pm while the delivery was also late afternoon. Their staff offer to help but on every occasion I wouldn't get a call back after they investigated.

Not only were we absolutely delighted with the look, quality & finish of the pots but also with the prompt delivery of said items which were carefully wrapped in bubble-wrap. Everything was delivered as promised & we were kept informed at every stage of the delivery.

Took off a day of billable time to take delivery only to discover (when I rang Dawson's at 4:30pm that the couriers "have difficulty getting orders out of the depot this afternoon" without having been called beforehand). I spend a lot on BBQ equipment per annum but will NEVER use BBQWorld again.

United Kingdom | 17 May 2017Ordered a BBQ from them. the web site said if ordered before 3.00pm then next day delivery. also that I will be getting e mails when it was dispatched and from the delivery driver an hour before. I sent them an e mail a couple of days later asking when the goods will be coming. I had no inkling when I was to receive the goods, a driver turned up 3 days later with the delivery, lucky I was in. They still havn't replied to my e mail. very poor communication

United Kingdom | 10 May 2017Don't touch this store!! Lovely when they are taking your money BUT BEWARE when something goes wrong with your product they don't want to know. I have sent them over 50 emails for a Kitchen Aid mixer that has broke after 6 month and they still haven't given me my refund after collecting it nearly 2 weeks ago. I don't like writing such a bad review but they have left me with no choice as the customer service I have received from them has been so bad.

United Kingdom | 02 May 2017I bought an expensive charcoal BBQ from them and it was delivered with what appeared to be a large scratch on the lid. It took over a month for the store to respond to my emails and sort the problem out. The issue has been resolved and the BBQ is now fine. The customer service could definitely be quicker, but the issue was resolved and the price was good and delivery prompt.
