I am so pleased to have used this site for our wedding registry. It was easy to set up and add all the information you need for your guests. It even had a template to print as inserts for our invitations. The gifts we received transferred easily into our bank accounts for use. I would highly recommend this as a non traditional way of registering if you are already established.

I used deposit a gift to collect donations for a group gift for a friend's baby shower. I was able to set up a page quickly and easily. I sent out the link, and everyone was very happy that turning in the money had been made easier (since some of us live far away). The fees were exactly as stated, which are not very much considering that credit card companies charge fees to merchants who swipe the cards. When I went to cash out, I received the money as a direct deposit into my bank account, and it only took a few days to go through. I will definitely spread the word, and I think this will be a popular service as more people find out about it!

Really appreciated the low transaction fees and site was easy to use/set up. However, we set up the fund for memorial donations for sudden loss of a child. The donation email alerts came with the heading, "Hooray, a little birdie told us you were hoping for this" with the donation info and personal notes below. I printed the donations and cut off that portion of the page, but there really should be another more sensitive donation notification for memorial funds. I contacted the site and they said the wording could not be changed. They did show us another way to print off the personal notes made by contributors that did not include the wording. However, now that the family has assumed the website they will be receiving these notifications at their own address. Fortunately 6 weeks later the wording is less shocking and they are prepared for it.

I like your site, because it is easy to use and convenient. Even transferring withdrawals was a painless experience.

I've had two very positive experiences using Deposit A Gift and I would recommend it to anyone fundraising or registering for an important life event. For our wedding, we registered through DAG for a range of honeymoon experiences including cooking classes, couples massages, zip lining, snorkeling outings, breakfast in bed and a new digital camera to document the whole trip. It was so much more meaningful for our guests to help us create memories, instead of just cluttering our home with more stuff. I also used DAG to fund a volunteer service trip to Uganda. By promoting my fundraising page via my personal networks and social media, I was able to increase awareness and raise substantial funds for an organization important to me. As a couple getting married in both the US and in Israel - while living in Israel, we needed a way to easily give our guests the ability to give us gifts. While normally a gift registry would be the best bet, with shipping/customs being so complicated and expensive to Israel, DAG was great at giving an alternative route to gift receiving. The service was prompt and easy to use. I would definitely recommend it for other couples in the same predicament!

We used Deposit A Gift so that our wedding guests to contribute money to our honeymoon road trip. I work at a university and one of our graduate students had a baby who was born very pre-mature. The situation was serious and many of us wanted to do something but didn't know exactly what.
