In addition to providing an avenue for our wedding guests to send gifts, most people enjoyed that they learned a bit about us in the process - we listed honeymoon, home, and charities that meant a lot to us, and this started a lot of great conversations about our future plans. Especially when people do not know you as well (as often is the case with wedding guests who know the bride, but not the groom or vice versa), this is a really nice aspect of a registry that is so personalized. Must more personality shows through than in a traditional gift registry. Additionally, the customer service was awesome - they can provide tips on how to break-down pricing and how to vary the price points for gifts, suggestions for ways to phrase your requests, etc. There is always someone personal ready to reply and help at any step of the way.
