Definitively the worst app. Experience 1) I have booked a laundry on Friday for a collecting time on Sunday, the driver never come within the hour I have waited for him. I needed to send 3 messages to the support, they called me to say that the service would finally not work and the person was clearly laughing at me. Experience 2) They have ruined a shirt by leaving a stain/spot on the shirt, impossible to clean (a £100 shirt) and they offered ma a refund? Lol Just, don't trust the reviews, this App is terrible, terrible services. Respect your cursors.

I live in central London and used Laundrapp this week for the second time to do a wash and fold laundry pile and a bedding cleaning exercise (duvet cover, four pillow cases and bed sheet). The original collection was cancelled with barely an hour to go on Tuesday and I was forced organise the rescheduling for Thursday for return this morning. An apology was not forthcoming until I asked for it by email. It got much worse. The first part of the order was completed satisfactorily but the service has not returned the duvet cover, the bed sheet and kindly sent me a quantity of someone else's bed linen!!! Sorting this out is a nightmare. The online customer support is not fit for purpose and after spending much of the afternoon trying to address this mess I have got no further. Eventually the chat mechanism abruptly cut me off and I have no idea what is going to happen next - if anything. To say the least this experience is appalling and I'm obviously very very unlikely to use this shambles of a service ever again. The update to this is that the collection of the item which wasn't my property didn't happen when it was booked and 48 hours later and I have no idea where my stuff is. The comment below can therefore be seen for what it is. Update - 8 days later. Laundrapp have responded on here and on Twitter to my complaints and an email or two but there is no news on my missing items and no indication of what they are going to do about it. The service recently merged with Zipjet and it is this I think which is partially responsible but doesn't explain the loss of my bed linen! Don't go near this service at the moment. It's not fit for purpose.

I can only assume the people who have given 5 stars don’t use the Edinburgh one. I put two lots of bedding in for wash & iron. When they came back they were very badly creased. I complained and they re-did. Exactly the same. They’ve given poor excuses as to why it happened and I’m being refused a refund of £44. I’ve now washed and ironed the bedding myself and it’s looking 100% better. LaundryApp now deleted from my phone.

I have used the laundry app a number of times now. They were very helpful when I needed a fast turnaround recently. Generally its about three days. Which is fine if you are changing beds weekly. I do have occasion to have a faster turnaround, so it might be something to consider offering a fast track service. All in all, I am happy with the quality of the service. Thank you!

So far so good. Reliable service. Good dry cleaning. Comparable prices to taking to a dry cleaner yourself.

Great service, really simple to place order and arrange collection and delivery date. Items are wonderfully clean and pressed. High quality service. I recommend this company for laundry cleaning and delivery.

Stay away unless you want your clothes permanently damaged. They glue a barcode on your clothes that only they can remove without permanently damaging your clothes. It causes permanent damage to your clothes when you remove it by yourself. They blame you for the damage when they are the one's who glued something that could cause permanent damage.

Fantastic, professional, and incredibly friendly service from Bilal, who took the time to check for further information for me as well as getting my laundry back in excellent condition. Thank you Bilal!

Very convenient and easy to use. No real issues with my experience, apart from I think I have now got the wrong suit bag that I sent it in. Will use it again!

On the 17th June, I sent my usual blue bag of laundry to Laundrapp – nothing special, just t-shirts, trousers, sweaters etc – about half of my wardrobe. I had done this countless times before, so was a rather loyal customer. A bag arrived back on the 21st June – they were not my clothes. This wasn’t the first time something had gone amiss with the service (they had also mislaid a pillow, and had a habit of getting their drivers to arrive at the incorrect time slots) so I referred the matter to the customer service department. Holly was the first to reply with the usual questions, such as details of missing items etc. I had dealt with her before – she managed to be very polite and prompt. Her email was the same template they always send initially. They also scheduled a collection for the stranger’s clothes in my possession – I can only hope they reached whoever was also inconvenienced. I replied three days later, explaining that I had been away from home at this time. I gave details of some unique-to-me items in the bag that should have stood out, as well as asking for clarification of the process should the items be irretrievably lost. Someone called Michael replied swiftly to state that they were passing the info to the facility manager, they were contacting other customers on that run to see if they had any strange items as well as the apologies etc. The prospect of what to do if my situation remained unresolved was vaguely mentioned. Two days later, someone called Vivien sent an email with an update, largely echoing everything that Michael had said before. I had now been without half my wardrobe for 9 days, with plenty of reassurances but no real resolution – much less any refund owing to me. The following day, a man appeared to take away the incorrect bag of clothes. Three days after that, a notification on the company’s app pressed me to confirm a delivery time. Was this my bag of clothes returning to me? I did as asked, only for Vivien to pop up the next day to say that the bag had not been found and the delivery date was therefore cancelled. A little strange, since I didn’t request it in the first place. They did have a potential untagged bag and I looked at the attached photos with interest, but none of the items were mine. (Vivien also asked for even more details of my missing stuff.) This was now a complete fortnight without half my wardrobe. It must have been something in my reply to them that might have sounded like I was getting irritable, so I was now passed on to my fourth and final Laundrapp rep – someone called Sanj. Perhaps he was more senior? He now wished to progress towards compensation. His exact words – ‘please let me know within 30 days the approximate age and value of the item in question, along with proof of purchase’. (Oh, and they were happy to accept bank statements or order confirmation emails.) This clearly showed that despite all the information I had already provided, he had no idea of my circumstances. It wasn’t one single item; it was an entire bag of laundry. And since when was it reasonable to expect that I would be in possession of proofs of purchase for all these items, most of which were purchased long ago? (Of course, they had all this laid out in their T/Cs, so you really didn’t have a leg to stand on.) I gave them a very generous estimate of the items lost – 15 t-shirts, 5 jumpers, 3 trousers and the rest as underwear and socks. I’m sure there was much more than that in the bag, but I was no longer in a position to argue. I also made the point that they still held my original payment. Next day, July 3rd, Sanj asked me to confirm if all items were over 5 years old. In all seriousness, how should I know? “As much information as I can get the clearer I can provide an amount for you”, said he. It was becoming rather tedious at this point. Later that day, Sanj made me an offer - £150 plus the original payment, coming to £169.13. I would have thought £250 as being somewhat fair, but alas – no receipts, bank statement entries or email order confirmations, so they felt entitled to lower the offer. The money arrived in my account on 16th July, one day less than a full month since I sent my items to them. Laundrapp is a good service when it works, but when things go wrong then - notwithstanding their ‘excellent customer service’ which is code for just being polite – it is the customer that is expected to bear the burden of running around trying to find proofs of purchase, photos etc. I’m sorry, but this is ludicrous. Had they been serious in retaining my custom, they would have offered decent compensation much earlier with no questions asked – it was 100% their mistake after all. Their ledgers took precedence over their customer’s loyalty. With the time taken to ‘resolve’ this case, along with being passed from person to person and their increasingly unreasonable requests, I can only advise other readers to take caution with this service – and keep all your photos / receipts to hand before entrusting your items to them!

Laundrapp returned four items shrunk and unwearable at a cost of £20 to me, refused to refund, insisted on taking the items again for an investigation, have asked me to schedule a time for the items to be returned only to cancel this each time without a reason. So they have my items, they have my money, and now they are refusing to contact me. I think this is definitely a one star service. Order numbers #641449 and #643715 (you gave me two) for whoever monitors this from the company.

Damaged four separate items of clothing. This included two brand new shirts. I contacted them, not expecting compensation or anything (I wasn’t aware that was an option) but to request they look into this and to seek reassurance that such damage would not occur again. Not only did they not investigate this, but they refused to acknowledge that the damage even existed. Convenient service, and appreciate the damage might be the responsibility of a specific local dry cleaner they use, but I cannot continue to use them when the risk of damage to my clothes is so high and they refuse to take responsibility for it.

Laundrapp is very convenient and I hate doing washing so it helps a lot. Danny who picks up my washing is always so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Excellent laundry service, timely pickup and delivery, polite employees, reasonable prices. I work like 9 hours a day, 6 days a week. And when I get home from work or get a day off, the last thing I want to do is laundry. That's why I chose to go with online laundry services, looked it up and found these guys. They have made my life easier and I get to spend the time off work with my friends. One thing I would like for you to consider though is packing clothes better when you deliver them. Thank you guys!

Duvets and bedding cleaned and ironed to perfection. Always on time and even rang me to see if he could deliver 10 minutes early rather than just turn up. This is a great service and I'll be sending all my bedding. Comes back perfectly folded and ironed.

I gave 7 shirts for cleaning. However, 2 out of these shirts came back destroyed. One with, literally, a hole in them and the other with a broken button. Terrible quality of cleaning for the other shirts. Awful - will never use again and I do not recommend any other sane person to use this.
