This wasn't just an amazing jewelry purchase, this was the best consumer experience that I have ever had with any company. The shop might seem a little intimidating, but everyone was super friendly and helpful. Chelsea was wonderful to work with. Most all of the design and feedback was completed online and she was always responsive and helpful. The level of customer service that Chelsea and GLJ provided was incredible. I had two family pieces worked on at Greenlake Jewelry. One was replacing a center stone in an antique ring and the other was creating a necklace out of a family stone. I worked with Vinh who was both patient and explanatory throughout the process - very helpful, always clear, provided information that allowed me to make my own decisions about the pieces. The jewelers who worked on both pieces did impeccable work. I am completely pleased with the final products.

Our designer was very responsive and well-informed of all the possibilities with the ring we designed. It's certainly a pricey venture, but we think it was worth it in the end. We ended up with the exact ring we'd hoped for. Thanks!

My main advice: for anyone having reservations about going the custom route for an engagement ring, or any jewelry for that matter, you can really trust GLJW with your vision and it will be so worth it. Rebecca in particular was our designer and really took the time to get to know my fiancee and I and what we were looking for. There was no pressure to go any particular way and she laid out all of our options while giving us as much time as we wanted to talk about it and decide what we wanted to do. I ended up with my perfect, unique ring that no one else will have and I couldn't be happier. I gave my due diligence and tried conventional engagement ring retailers but every place I went, I felt like I was pressured into a ring I wasn't 100% sold on. This experience was nothing like that. I had such a great experience at GLJW and Rebecca really took care of my needs. I would recommend this route to anyone without reservations. Also, for the money conscious, I had a general idea about how much I was willing to spend/wear on my finger everyday and GLJW was very open and accommodating to that number without pressuring me into spending more than I wanted to. At the end of the day, I spent as much as I would have at a normal retailer for a beautiful, custom designed ring!

Overall a great experience! My fiance and I decided to go to Green Lake Jewelry for my engagement ring because a few friends recommended it. My fiance proposed to me with my great great grandmother's ring that is very beautiful and antique. The ring is over 100 years old and it needed some work done to it. We took the ring in thinking that we would just need to get it resized and add in a missing sapphire. One of the jewelers inspected the ring and told us that it had already been resized 4 times and had many cracks in the metal making it quite fragile. We were given a few options but ultimately decided that we wanted to have the ring restored. The designer recreated and hand carved the ring using platinum and the same 100+ year old diamonds. They were able to find a sapphire to replace the missing one. Our designer, Jamie, was patient and communicated with us through the entire process. The ring looks almost identical to the original, but more polished and modern. They did such an amazing job! My family, fiance, and I are so in love with this ring! Now it can live on as a family heirloom for 100 more years!

When my significant other and I entered the Northgate location and witnessed the numerous custom rings, we knew that it was the right place to create our engagement ring. Without a super clear vision of what we wanted, we easily gained lots of inspiration from the rings that were on display. From there, we had the privilege to collaborate with Ashley Y. as our designer and she was wonderful. Throughout the entire process she was very professional (as was the entire Green Lake Jewelry staff). On top of that, she provided valuable information to ensure we obtained the best end result. Neither of us have had much experience with jewelry, so she helped us understand how to create not only a unique and one-of-a-kind ring, but one that is durable and lasts forever. We shopped around a bit before deciding to go with Green Lake Jewelry and they were the first ones to educate us on how to create a long-lasting ring. The creation process itself was faster than expected. Even though we loved the original design, after receiving the mold, we wanted to tweak a few things. Without seeing how clear the first mold was, I don't think we would have had such a wonderful end product because the second mold was exactly what we envisioned, but originally was difficult to describe. It's like she read our minds! The final ring was beyond words - truly, we were speechless. We couldn't be happier with the finished product and highly recommend Green Lake Jewelry.
