United Kingdom | 23 January 2019Totally abyssmal experience. Asked clarifying questions prior to placing the order and they gave wrong answers. End result was the delivered bed was not what we ordered. Normal drawers instead of continental drawers (we have fitted bedroom furniture), castors instead of gliders, and best of all, no way to connect the two halves together. Took another couple of weeks of arguing with them before the bed was collected. After-sales service utter rubbish. Couldn't answer questions and got well ticked off when I reported to Paypal instructing them not to pay. If you are going to order from Home Furnishings UK Ltd, then get any questions in writing (email) and make sure they understand what you want. Good luck, but in all honesty, I would recommend that you go elsewhere; we certainly will be. Rubbish supplier in my book.

United Kingdom | 12 January 2019Seems to me this company is repeatedly scamming people - they have several sites including Mattress Time. Like quite a few other people the mattress I received was nothing like the one seen in the glossy picture of their website. Typical delaying tactics are used with no refund at the end of it - check the reviews for Mattress Time on Trustpilot, you’ll realise all is not as it seems on their glossy website.

United Kingdom | 13 December 2018Before I ordered I read reviews and was somewhat shocked at the bad reports, however the good ones were very good so I decided to take a chance. Am I glad I did the service was only fractionally short of perfect, I was contacted by phone on the day previous to my delivery to inform me that the delivery would take place the following day as ordered. I enquired if I could be given an approximate time which was not possible but I was told that I was first and second drops(2 orders) and delivery times were between 7am and 7pm. Sure enough the first came at 7.15 the driver was helpful and pleasant. I arranged to meet him at the second address and exactly the same. Very impressed. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was, the orders were made for delivery at a picked date but I got a call the following day to say they would be delivered the next day, 7 days early. This however was dealt with on the phone and as I have said the deliveries were on time and with a very courteous service. All in all a very very good experience.

Then they let you down & ask if you want to leave your money with them for several months until it comes back in stock.. Ive ordered a mattress from an alternative company that has been delivered as expected, but no bed from this lot.. & they are still showing it as in stock on their websites !!!

United Kingdom | 07 November 2018Ordered 2 zip and link divan beds with storage draws on each base, for my children’s room at my new flat. The flat is on the third floor and our building does not have a lift. Under the guidance of the sales associate I requested two man delivery of the beds to the room they were bought for. We agreed a fee for this service, and he said payment would be taken once my order was processed. They never called this but I assumed as it was clearly stated on my order confirmation that all was well. When it came to delivery date the driver refused to help carry the beds up to the flat, despite me showing him the request on my order, and dumped them on the ground floor. I had to carry two bed bases and mattresses up three flights of stairs. I only ordered from them as I was told about the deliver to room service. Once the struggle of getting the beds up to the room was over, upon unwrapping there were no drawers. Despite contacting them to let them know of the non existent drawers, they offered to send new bases with the drawers, but now said that they don’t offer two man delivery. I would be expected to carry the two bed bases down to the ground floor, as well as getting the new bases back up. I am a single Dad and have a two year old daughter in the flat. Given the pretences that lead to my purchase this is simply unacceptable, especially given that they sent incorrect products and this is their error. I am now awaiting a part refund for the cost of draws. Rather than break my back carrying 4 bed bases up and down on my own, I decided to cut my losses and accept a part refund. Do not be fooled by the cheap prices, the divan bases are poorly finished in translucent fabric and look nothing like the marketing shots. Spend a bit extra at Dreams or a more reputable store and save yourself a whole lot of grief! Customer service was nothing short of abysmal!

United Kingdom | 03 November 2018When the divan I ordered arrived the delivery driver said he was only allowed to deliver to the 1st floor. If we wanted it delivered to my 2nd floor flat we would have to pay him £20 cash for him to deliver it dispite there being a lift! The driver was very rude and intimidating and behaved in a very aggressive manner and tone. We felt we had no choice but to pay up. After calling hf4u they informed us that the delivery driver had scammed us. So far hf4u have done nothing about this.
