Took another 1.5 months to get a refund of $2900 minus $150 residential shipping fee. I don't know what happened to this company Engine and Transmission World as I had bought from them before in 2015 and my experience was amazing and that's why I came back. Never again......

United States | 11 May 2023Man this is the worst company to do business with. They are great for taking your money and then get ready for disappointment. So it took almost 3 weeks to get the first engine shipped to my mechanic. After having the mechanic install it and return my vehicle it immediately overheated the next day. Found out that the engine cylinder head had a crack and coolant was leaking into the engine block. Reported the problem to this company. I had 37 emails and dozens of phone calls to their warranty department and it took almost 3 months for them to send me a replacement engine. I asked them to keep me updated on the shipping process once they had the information and they never bothered to . I was hung up on placed on hold told a supervisor would call me back and none of those things seem to happen . I ended up having to call their customer service number and spoke to a customer service manager who in turn just put me through to the warranty department without so much as letting me know he was doing so . After Multiple emails multiple phone calls multiple photos of different invoices mileage Etc. Got the engine installed seems to be running okay but now it's been almost a month since I've sent in my labor claim for installing the replacement engine and I haven't heard a single word from this company. I would not recommend doing business with this company even if they gave you the engine. After doing more research on them I found out that in 2017 they were being investigated by the Better Business Bureau of Michigan and had a mult i-person lawsuit for their business practices. Please do yourself a favor and steer clear of them and any of their businesses that they own or do business with which is multiple companies.

United States | 03 May 2023Horrible Customer service, we have ordered an engine 3/21/23, they told us 14 days, it is now 5/2/23 and still no engine, no one can give me an answer, just keep transferring me to people with full Voice mails!!! This is not the first time but it will be the last!!!!!!

We have been trying for 5 months to get them to reimburse us for the labor charges from the 2nd engine they had to send bc the first one was crap. All they do is avoid and lie. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

United States | 15 April 2023DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Their website and Facebook is nothing but deceiving pictures . We were suppose to get a rebuilt motor for our Dodge Ram that we order back in January and what we actually got in MARCH! Was a chopped out piece of junk and after over a month of trying relentlessly to reach out for a refund they only gave us a partial refund and charged us 1700 for shipping!!! I have attached pictures of what the replica was suppose to arrive and look like as opposed to what actually arrived!! And I never once could get a manager to contact me via phone or email and every single file time I tried to contact them I was hung up on. It’s been a awful process that I’m still dealing with and now having to reach out to attorneys and our local news for help.

United States | 13 April 2023Ordered a engine on 02/21/23, expecting to get it 7- 14 business days, finally on 3/10/23 I got a message that there is a slight delay due to weather but should be shipped soon, 3/15/23 I received a message that the engine is on the truck and they were waiting on the tracking number, after that I got nothing from them, on 4/3/23 I contacted them they told me that it will be shipped 4/5/23, on 4/7/23 no confirmation from them so I called them and all they said was it was not shipped yet and couldn't tell me when it will be shipped, the manager in shipping was supposed to message me and to this day nothing yet, I have been calling every day now but can't get a straight answer from them, I will never do business with them again.

United States | 05 April 2023I purchased a used 2015 Chryler 200 engine from Engine and Transmission World on 2/28/2023 for $3,130. As of 3/9/2023, they had still not shipped out the engine or provided a tracking number, and I decided to take another route, so I canceled the order. They said it usually takes 5 business days to issue a refund, and on 3/17/2023 I e-mailed the order cancellation e-mail to request an update. I did not receive a reply so on 3/19, 3/21. 3/22, 3/23 and 3/24 I called and asked for an update from the customer service/warranty department, ext. 6. The lady on the other line gave the same answer, each time, they had heard nothing from the accounting department but would e-mail them to get an update and get back to me. They do not have a number they will give out to escalate this. After an order is canceled, they are required by law to issue the refund in 7 days, it has now been 15 days. I believe I was a victim of fraud. I was fortunate that I was able to get a chargeback on this purchase from my credit card company. Do NOT buy from this company, you are likely throwing your money away!

United States | 04 March 2023DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! It is a living nightmare!!! Ordered a transmission for a Chevy Malibu. Took months to get only to receive an incorrect transmission. They would not send a replacement until it was returned. Second transmission was also incorrect, basically the same one sent the first time. Finally received the correct one, programed it and transmission failed. Ordered the transmission in Oct 2022 did not receive the "correct" one until Feb 2023 - which failed. Ordered and engine. when engine arrived there was a hole in the oil pan, throttle body and intake manifold were broken and could not be used. Call warranty department and was told those parts are not covered under the warranty. This has been a complete nightmare!!! Please don't risk it!!! I am also reporting them to the better business bureau to possibly prevent someone else the heart ache!!

Told them of the problem, and the had a guy named DC Baker email me. Would not answer calls(first red flag). Finally told me that they could not differenciate between California and Non California emissions. Said they would pick up the engine. Picked up, no credit. Emailed and said weather was holding up refund. No more contact. Me, being smarted than the average bear, had put it on a credit card. Disputed the charge, and credit card gave me my money back. Then they said it was delivered in good condtion, and returned in good condition and gave me partial credit but were chargeing a 42% restocking fee! Even though THEY had sent the wrong engine originally. I am currently trying to get the rest of the charge refunded. What a scam company! DO NOT, DO NOT, deal with this company. They give shysters a bad name.

(And I've lived in the Hurricane Capital of the United States for the past 30 years, I had to deal with Car Salesmen in the 70s). AND IT"S NOT OVER YET! After two months of Auto rental fees and 8 out and out lies (Two of which came directly from someone claiming to be a manager), 9 times I was told my engine was on a truck, not only was I not offered any kind of compensation for having to rent a car for 6 weeks longer than I should have, but now (after another 3 months), I'm being completely ignored about returning my core engine, now I have a Mechanic trying to get me to get my engine out of his garage. 5 months and I'm not done doing business with this place. I am literally being forced to hire an attorney to get an address to ship my core engine, and for shipping charges and core fees.

United States | 11 January 2023This company is the worst to work with. They were great until I paid for the engine. It took 25 days from the date of purchase to receive the engine. The 'fully refundable core' is a joke because you have to pay to ship it back. Core is $250 but cost $379 to ship it back so cheaper to trash it. Called multiple times with questions around that. The customer service reps hung up on me several times and I was polite with them. Now that the engine is installed the oil pump is bad and same thing, transferred multiple times only to get disconnected after 30 minutes on the call. Still not resolved. They claim they will reimburse me for the oil pump but noone can tell me what they will reimburse. Warranty said they will pay for it but they are not sounding like they will pay full cost to cover the repair. I would recommend finding a different company to purchase from.

United States | 29 December 2022Have a customer that purchased a 2010 ford edge transmission that had 60k miles on it. they paid 1400 for the unit. when we received the unit, it looked like it had been sitting for a while.had a ton of rust on the transmission case. we installed the unit correctly and on the first road test the transmission had a shutter. we notified the customer and then called sancho and the warranty department regarding the issue. they started a warranty claim and then never heard from them unit i finally got someone on the line in the warranty department stating that the woman who originally started the claim got fired and lost alot of files. then i received a email 2 weeks or so after saying that all my emails and calls ended up in spam. so they asked me to email invoices over again to another email address. now the warranty company has voided the warranty and stated they did so because a transmission filter was not changed within 1000 miles from puting the transmission in. we have only put 10 miles on the vehicle since the transmission has been put in and also the filter cannot be changed because it is a split unit. if you were to change the filter you might as well have the whole unit be rebuild. this couple are disabled and live off of a disabiliy check and have been saving their money to get their car fixed so they can actually drive it and go to their doctor appointments. Engine and Transmission world especially sancho you better count your days cause karma comes right back around.

I filled in the information that was asked of me for a quote, I properly input the information and ordered the part that they had quoted me for. I receive the motor and it is the wrong motor and Sancho decides to tell me that I picked the part, telling me that I owe an additional $1,000 for the correct part as I picked the wrong part and the customer picks the part - per his statement. Sancho clearly doesn't know how his company operates. Meanwhile, they were all too fine with telling me they will not pick up my core and also not wanting to refund me for the core charge when I didn't even want to keep the extra motor. Bad bad company and I will never use or recommend them again. It took over a month to get any correspondence and I have had to call them over and over again in order for the representative to forward the notes of my complaints to these idiot managers and finally get a response from them.

I don't know how they're still doing business with all the people the have screwed over. If any one of you who are disgruntled with this SCAM want to file a class action lawsuit please contact me. It only takes six people to file a class action lawsuit. I already have two people on board. It's time to speak up about SCAMS pulled off by such "companies" that take our hard earned money. United States | 20 July 2022Our engine was delivered five weeks ago and installed, when the shop tried to start the engine it did not start. They ran a block test and failed they also ran a compression test and that failed. I've been trying to reach Sancho now for three weeks and no luck. They said a replacement engine was shipped and yet they cannot provide a tracking number nor do they want to refund me the money spent to pay the shop. SCAMMERS!!! this place sucks. Before sending the. Engine they claimed it was in their quality control department but cannot furnish any documentation of the engine being in good shape they claim it had 85,000 miles. It's time to take legal action class action lawsuit to many people on here having bad experiences with this company. so todays update was they voided my warranty because the heat tabs were MELTEDd!!!! this engine never started how can the heat tabs be MELTED!!!!!!???? now we're out $1,900 for the labor and $1,650 for the crappy engine they sent. does anyone have any follow up with legal action and or filing a complaint with the Wisconsin Consumer Affair Dept? please call me 619 772 6128 well here's an update two months now since we ordered our engine. finally got them to pick up the engine and delivered back to the salvage yard where it came from. fortunately they have refunded the engine money $1655 unfortunately they do not want to refund us the money we spent at the mechanics shop for the labor $2,200. pisses me off, bad! if there is anyone who has dealt with these scammers and has a civil lawsuit lawyer please reach out to me.
