I own a professional automotive repair shop. This company is a total scam!! They get used engines and transmissions form junk yards across the country and i purchased one for 2850.00 with only 83k so they said. Nothing was capped off even with the turbo blades showing! There was years of oil and grim buildup on this engine and from the signs of blow-by it had at least 200k on it. I returned it and was supposed to get another engine. 2 weeks later i still do not have my money back or the other engine Sancho promised me. Horrible customer service and horrible parts. Do not buy anything from this horrible company.

I should've done some research first. this company sells junkyard engines from 3rd parties. doesn't even know the condition of the engines that are being delivered to customer. Wouldn't provide a full refund for there false advertisement. had to return a super rusted engine which is website says under warranty. not once does he state it is a junkyard engine and actually has a partial warranty. this company is a scam and mike is a lying crook. Don't make any transactions with this place.

SCAMMERS - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE-CURRENT LAWSUIT IN PROGRESS FILED IN 2017 BY WISCONSIN DOJ THEY'VE BEEN SCAMMING PEOPLE SINCE 2010-2011 SHUT THEM DOWN ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CROOKS How in the world are these crooks still allowed to operate and deceive the public!?!? These guys are crooks with countless of complaints dating as far back as 10 or 11 years. The number of consistent complaints since that time is unbelievable. They took $2680.00 from us and sent us a rebuilt motor that has a horrible knocking sound and our mechanic says it's a crap motor and company should send us another one. Engine & Transmission World will not make it right...they don't even return messages. It's absolutely UNBELIEVABLE. Sancho is supposedly the "supervisor" but we've left at least 6-10 messages and he has not called back since. Cindy just says she will pass it to Sancho and Scott never returns calls either. CROOKS!!!!!!!! Someone needs to stop these guys. We want a refund - HELP!!!! Invoice #374734

This may be premature in one regard as I haven't received the engine I ordered yet. My rating is zero (no stars if possible). I ordered an engine and two weeks later my credit card started being charged without my use. The card has been cancelled, but the fact remains I hadn't used it for years before this charge, and I hadn't used it since. Engine and Transmission World is responsible for this card getting into the hands of someone for fraudulent use.

I purchased an engine in June and it arrived at my repair shop and when they unwrapped the engine the crank shaft was broke, screws were stripped that hold the engine together and the belt was twisted. My mechanics exact words were, “ there’s no way this is an refurbished engine, this engine came out of a car that was in a accident and sent to you”, I have been trying to get the engine replaced since 7/7/2021 and have called them at least 20 times and all I keep being told is let me look into it, I have to send this over to my supervisor and someone will call you back. Today is the first day I actually received and email back but it was for me to send pictures, I stated I sent pictures in on 7/7/2021 on all the damage so why would I need to do that again almost 3 weeks later after reporting my issue/claim. I feel I want get my issue resolved so I’m just out of the money I spent like I was suppose to get a Refurbished Engine not something I have to pay for someone to work on, I’m that case I could of had my engine rebuilt. Very dissatisfied single parent Invoice 374980, I thought I had found a reputable place and I was getting a good engine. Cindy is the only one that reached back out but I still feel like I’m getting the run around now I might loose my car because I can’t afford the storage fees for them storing it while waiting for replacement.

This is the worse company on earth. Do not do business with this company no matter what! They took $1755.00 from me and then never shipped the engine I ordered. Weeks went by and still nothing. I finally cancelled the order. Now they are trying to steal 25 percent of the order price $438.75 with no explanation at all. When you call them you get the phone game done to you with nobody answering the phone. I will have to go to small claims court or count on my credit card company fraud department to resolve this issue. These are the worse kind of scammers...next call the police in their town!

Invoice# 375343 My customer has been waiting for an engine for almost a month and when it finally arrived it was damaged and it had a big red defective label on the engine. There seems to be no sense in urgency to get this situation resolved. If someone wants to call me at 912-257-7641 to get this resolved asap I will be more than happy to change my review.

Do not do business with this company, they are scammers and domestic terrorist!! Ripped me off for $1800.00. They sent a transmission that had been in a wreck all busted up and missing the torque converter, now fighting to get money back, and when you call there is no customer service. They only play phone games and beat around the bush, only to put you on hold

Horrible place do not order anything from this company. If I could give them a negative number I would. Their customer services SUCKS. Ordered motor and after I called to cancel they said your motor has already shipped. Received motor and motor has oil all over the outside of it and the miles they say it has is a LIE. Called to return motor and they said we will send you a email waited a week and still no email. Called and got the run around. You will never get a refund is pretty much what they are going to tell you. This is the worst place I have ever dealt with. I would stay away.

TERRIBLE called about activating warranty than they told me I had to wait till it was installed and it was late due to COVID , plus the guy I was wanting to replace it couldn’t get to it within the 10 day time frame ... so long story short they screwed me out of the 5 year warranty.... they couldn’t work with me at all and the guy who I talked to in warranty department was acting WAY unprofessional ...

This company is completely unethical. They claimed that I was buying a motor with 75000 miles on it. When it arrived, it had been damaged. In addition, the motor actually had 23100 miles on it and was in terrible condition. I have gone round and round with them. I haven't received a replacement, and I am out almost $3000. Save yourself the trouble and don't do business with them.

Purchased a v6 supercharged engine from this company on Oct 2018. Installed engine on a vehicle that I really should have just purchased a brand new engine but it was really hard to find this particular engine. I saw the warranty for two years and I noticed it was pretty solid. I figured we are ok. So I purchased an old Xterra to play with. Mind you I own several vehicles, many of them brand new 2020 and the oldest 2018. Amg gle Mercedez 2020, Rubicon 2020 that I purchased this year. So for no reason I am in the business of scamming anyone. Getting back into my story I purchased the Xterra and decided to have a shop fix it. I ended up spending about 40k to upgrade the entire Car with new parts. Mind you the company said the engine had less than 75k miles. Knowing this is a Japanese engine I’m thinking I’ll just upgrade all accessories parts of the engine with new parts. I purchase all new OEM parts for this engine and had it installed by Clutchmaster’s in Ca. The engine came with an old Supercharger so I decided to upgrade Oem it before I purchased the engine. I have invoice Had the shop install it and mind you when your painting a car replacing all interior and changing the entire interior of the vehicle it takes time. So I spent a bit to much like I mentioned above and took a chance with the engine. It took about 1.5 years to finish the vehicle and ended up putting about 500 miles on the car. It had a little rough start and I figured that maybe this was an issue with the electronics. Took it to the mechanic and to my surprise two cylinders have radiator fluid. Mind you 500 miles on the engine. So I call our great company mentioned above and I spoke to Dallas. Very nice lady until It got a bit ugly. So Dallas tells me, Chrsitian we will call the shop and see what’s up with the car. I said, Great! Please speak to Tony and he’s the owner of a specialty shop in Ca. One of the best in the market. Mid valley auto in Winetka. Look it up it awesome So Dallas tells me I’ll call them at 11am your time and get back to you. I say perfect. I’m thinking it’s a great thing I purchased this engine from this company. I later call at 3pm the mechanic and ask him if they have a called. He tell me no.. I think that is odd and call the company. Melissa Answers the phone, ohh supe nice lady !! Until you tell her your engine has some issues. Be careful don’t get her mad. She always hangs up the phone. She’s to busy for you. Lol Nonetheless, I call Dallas.melisa picks up and transfers me to Dallas. Dallas tells me and I quote “ we recorded the conversation that you had with Melissa in Dec 2018”. First, let me remind the company they have not alerted me That a conversation has been recorded and yet they have this file. The conversation they recording says the following: And I quote again “ you told Melissa that the intake was broken and we don’t cover any accessories of the engine.” I told them in my conversation “ I’m purchasing all new accessories since I’m upgrading the entire engine with new parts” Dallas says : this warranty is now void because you upgraded the supercharger of the vehicle is no longer a Oem part. So for that reason it is now void and we didn’t call your shop” Wow. Ok I told her. “ I ship you the car so you can see it, I can afford to send you the car just to prove you wrong” Dallas said and I quote again “ I’m sure you removed the old super charge the was aftermarket And made it all pretty” Well that really upset me. I then proceeded to tell her you know “ I expected that you would do something like this. “ Then Loudly said THANK YOU. She hung up... Im happy to spend more money to sue the company just because I can and I can afford it. I took this on as a layaway because I was trying to hide the project from my wife ! Lol so they must think I’m broke. Talk about social profiling. This person has accused me as a scam artist and told me I was defrauding there company by pretending to do something I never did. So I was actually happy she said that. First thing I did today I contacted an Attoney with one of my business partners in Texas. Yep I have friends too Dallas. Best thing thank you Amex. I’m a black card holder. I will answer my phone anyone can call me 8183099225. A class action suit against this company is probable so I invite other customers to see if you would like to join. I will make sure I make campaign against this company even if it takes years. I will fix my car and be happy again and go mudding.

bought engine in Sept of 18. Within a week a major component failed. My mechanic said it should be covered/considered part of the engine block, engine-transmission claimed it was a blot on piece (not covered) A week ago I called because i was having severe motor problems. Despite a 5yr, 50k mile warranty being advertised everywhere, they told me i had no warranty because i never "activated" it. Mind you, within the 1st week I filed a claim against them for the failed part they claimed was "bolt on". Nothing in my email receipts or instructions said ANYTHING about having to activate a warranty. I talked to a few mechanics and, obviously, they never heard of such a thing either. Further, why wasn't my warranty "activated" once i filed my claim within 2 weeks of the motor being installed? They simply do not back up their advertisements, at all. Now i have a blown engine that lasted me only 1 and 1/2 years.
