I booked my Hyundai I30 for its first MOT using their online booking form which was simple to follow and worked a treat. I arrived early and 5 Star got to work on my car almost immediately. As I decided to wait for the MOT to be carried out, I was provided with coffee and biscuits whilst I waited. Had a great conversation with the receptionist about holidays around the world. I would not hesitate to recommend 5 Star garage to anyone that asks.

The first two times I went to this garage I was very happy with the service. This time I went simply to switch over winter tyres to summer tyres. Despite booking in at 3pm it took almost 2 hours before this was done and when I returned to the garage I was told one of my tyres was incorrect. No explanation was given so when I questioned this the owner told me 3 tyres were 16 inches and 1 was 17. I asked was it possible to drive around on a wrong size and the owner said no. I said in that case they must have mixed up one of my tyres as they were taken off there the first time and I have just brought them back. I got no apology and no explanation other than he doesn't know what must have happened. So now I essentially have to buy another tyre. This annoyed me anyway but then when I went to pay the owner brought up my records and accused me of not having paid for the 4 tyres the first time! Given I paid this garage over £400 for 4 winter tyres this really annoyed me. The owner was rude and tried to embarrass me in store. After I paid and left driving home I got a warning light saying I was losing tyre pressure, when I phoned the garage it turned out they hadn't updated the necessary part of the on board computer. Also not that it matters but the last two times I went my car was valeted and this time not. Service has really gone down hill and I did not appreciate the owner arguing with me and insinuating I was lying. I will not be returning to this garage as I went out of my way to go here and the service was awful.

This is a highly professional garage and have consistently delivered a good service both in terms of communication, openness and technical ability. They are Toyota experts and as a Toyota owner they are a march ahead of local dealers. If you are looking for a reliable garage in the Huddersfield area or are fed up with your present one, give this team a go. I'm confident you won't be disappointed.

Excellent garage that combines an intuitive website, online booking and a six day a week services. Very welcoming on arrival they have got customer services perfected, if only all companies were this customer focused. Dont't tell too many people though as it will make it more difficult for me to book my next service :-)

Service and repairs of 10 year old car all completed professionally, and everything working perfectly again. Lovely cleaned car on collection, and it looks and sounds like it could last most of the next 10 years as well!

After reading reviews of five star autocentre , i decided to give them a go after unreliable garages in the past with previous cars .. I had a gold 2 yr full service plus some other work done on my car , an couldnt be happier .. on dropping the car off i was met with a wonderful , polite an very helpful receptionist who booked the car in . Followed by a call in the afternoon with explanation of what was needed to be done , etc with a promise it would be ready by close of business .. Car was done on time and also was washed and valeted , a very nice surprise .... All in all a very pleasant garage , with helpful an friendly staff .. couldnt recommend highly enough many thx Mr Paul Woolley

I would like to thank everyone at five star Auto centre Huddersfield for providing excellent customer service. I had booked my car in for an annual service. The day before I had booked the car in for, they rang me to check that I was still ok with bringing the car in at the time I had booked. This is also a great reminder in case it's slipped your mind that you had booked the service. The lady on reception was very friendly and informative. The paperwork was explained very clearly, and all the work carried out also explained very clearly. The price of the work carried out is very good, and competitive, and much cheaper than the main dealers. Ant work needed was explained and prices given before the work was carried out. The car was returned to me cleaned inside and out. Many thanks for your great service.
