From the moment I sent my enquiry to the point at which I was provided with a delivery date, the team at Nationwide were always incredibly helpful, timely and knowledgably. Every conversation was backed up with an email confirming what had been discussed, and the website is great at providing status updates. Impressive! I want to call out both Charlotte and Lorraine who were particularly helpful throughout.

United Kingdom | 24 January 2024Having ordered my new vehicle August 2023, i was advised the delivery was estimated to be January 2024. This was perfect!!! well it would have been if that was the case. Following the initial order alarm bells started ringing . I began receiving emails stating the vehicle was not yet built. I contacted nationwide on multiple occasions seeking reassurance that the vehicle would be ready, and was advised numerous times that there had not been any delays on delivery and was assured that the car would be delivered in January. I contacted again in December having been previously been advised that i would have a date available only to be told that the order had been pushed back without telling me. I spoke to**** who might i add has been less than helpful and difficult to contact and who has repeatedly given incorrect information. I was left with no choice but to cancel the order(the car has at this point not been built yet) i was advised by ****that i would loose £100 administration fee. This is something that he is now denying, but have now been advised i will lose the full £270... So in conclusion i have paid £270 for a vehicle that has not been built let, i have received dismal customer service, incorrect information and been out right lied to. How can a company charge £270 for a car that has not been built let alone delivered. i understand the £100 admin charges but the rest is not acceptable. the car is not even built for goodness sake. ***** update**** having corresponded with the complaints team this has now been resolved in terms of a refund of £170 which has been offered as a gesture of good will. This has not yet been paid but i am hope full it will be Thankyou.

This was my first time leasing a car so naturally I was a little apprehensive, but Kayleigh was very helpful, explained everything clearly, answered my questions and was able to process everything very quickly so within three weeks I was accepting delivery of a new car. Kayleigh has continued to keep in touch since my car was delivered on 21/12/23 and I'm glad I made the decision to take this route for my next vehicle. Thank you!

United Kingdom | 20 January 2024I chose to use Nationwide initially because of the very competitive prices, however I will return to the company for the great service from the staff I have dealt with. My first contact was with Callum who was extremely easy to deal with. He fully explained the processes and guided me trough the ordering procedure step by step and made it a simple pleasurable experience. Although there was some problem sourcing my first choice of car, due to dealer/manufacturer delays, I was able to amend my choice to an in stock alternative which was arranged to be delivered in a matter of only two weeks and was a cheaper price. I also had contact at Nationwude with other staff members from the Gap Insurance and customer satisfaction teams both of whom were very polite and just as easy to deal with. For these reasons I wouldn't hesitate in dealing with Nationwide again.

United Kingdom | 20 January 2024Update: Nationwide have now after 10 weeks decided I am not entitled to a refund despite communication from Chris Hodgkinson stating otherwise. Absolutely shocking. I will dispute this. Further to my review on the 2nd January, I responded to Nationwide’s request for further information immediately & sadly over two weeks later I have not had any further communication or more importantly have not had a refund of my processing fee. Not sure why there is an issue & I see that another customer has posted a review stating they weren’t refunded their processing fee either. It seems that people who go ahead with their leases are pleased with the service from Nationwide & give them 5 star ratings but if you have an issue they do not respond or deal with it promptly. Really disappointing as I have been waiting 10 weeks for my money to be refunded.
