I submitted my application to teach at this company. Firstly, I find it peculiar that an Asian company has an American interviewer assessing candidates. It raises concerns for me. Secondly, why is the interview scheduled for 30 minutes? It makes me question the depth of their evaluations. Furthermore, it's quite bizarre to have a 55-year-old American woman posing as a student during the role-playing segment of the interview. If that wasn't off-putting enough, the interviewer was strange, awkward, and didn't smile. Is this the standard for your top-notch teachers? I'm not inclined to work for a company with such practices, and I can only imagine how dissatisfied customers might feel.

My daughter has been with LingoAce studying mandarin for over a year now. The quality of the lessons is good and the teacher is engaging. My daughter is in a lesson with a boy. We were considering renewing but they are now asking $1000 for a year which is too much for us. This is why I have only given 3 stars because they have become too expensive.

I like the teacher there(for the teacher I will give a close to 5 star). But I don't like the way they handle customers and sales. If you want a fair price from them, you have to share their posts or contribute to their marketing in some other ways (I did share their posts on wechat to get free lessons, which is low of me as I have disturbed my surroundings with things they are not interested. Aren't everyone be bombed enough with irrelevant ads? ).I guess this is a common strategy for such a company in the kids learning field. But this one is different (maybe lower?) than giving a one-time incentive for referrals (such as you see on Outschool, Italki and other platforms) , because it plays with your psychology at a deeper level and this strategy is built in their pricing and stated/treated as their policy. Sometimes I wonder is this fair play?

I did not require the entire package. So the Lingoace team told me that the remaining classes will be refunded. When I requested the team stopped responding and have not refunded the amount.

Teacher Application Process + Platform Issues After going through LingoAce's grueling interview process for the role of ESL teacher, I felt the need to review the company based on my experience. Firstly, I felt like my "teacher trainer" was unhelpful and merely there to check boxes off. Their guidance was unhelpful and they often missed things or didn't notice things (just seemed checked out). The company needs to reconsider who they hire for this "teacher trainer" role and find people who are more receptive to helping applicants. Secondly, the platform is unintuitive and there are far too many slides, especially during the chant. As the teacher, the platform felt very clunky and difficult to navigate. They'll need to update and streamline their system to be on par with other platforms like VIPkid, Cambly, and (formerly) Qkids. Thirdly, the application process was too demanding, especially as someone who teaches full time during the day. I do not have time to sit and figure things out or make a background or figure out lighting or do all these extra things. I did though and it met their standards but they still didn't hire me! Thanks for wasting my time LingoAce!! Please find a way to streamline the process for prospective hires so we don't have to waste more time than necessary.

Signed up for a trial class for my daughter and she enjoyed it alot. Teacher was patient with her, the contents were interesting enough to keep her engaged. Will be signing up for a package with Lingoace. Hopefully it will help her in her mandarin learning!

The onboarding agent was very helpful and patient in answering questions and the trial session was fun for my child. We signed a package as the teacher and the teaching material were engaging for my N2 kid. The duration is also comfortable for 4year olds. As my child has knowledge of some basic Chinese words, I was in constant discussion with the teacher agent to skip certain lessons and there were additional writing materials provided for my child to practice further by herself. Very accommodating and there were ample timeslots available for my section. It's one-to-one but I would recommend at this age for a parent to be beside the child to gently guide alongside the teacher.

I have a good experience with LingoAce because their advisor is very helpful. The trial lesson is comprehensive and able to make my children interact and participate in the lesson.

My kid found the trial lesson enjoyable and engaging. On my part I found that the teacher has done a good job and has covered significant ground with hanyu pinyin, sentence structure and word recognition. Both of us are looking forward to the next lessons!

Quite impressed with the trial session! The teacher's interactive approach, filled with games and visual aids, captivated my child's attention throughout. The balance between learning and fun was perfect, and my preschooler is already asking when the next session will be.
