The fact that we can access our portal to see transactions on any device is also very useful. Declan Duggan has been a great support, efficient, friendly and on hand for any question we had during the set up process - thank you Declan!

You can send a payment link or email for payment. If you are after a mobile payme t terminal Teya are it. I could not be happier with the help i have received from Dean Scott and Teya. United Kingdom | 01 July 2023Absolute disgrace of a company. Started a new business and had the card payment machine installed. Payments didn't arrive in my bank account. Phoned numerous times to be told my account was under review. After 2 weeks and over £2000 pound of payments made I've been told the money is on hold for 120 days!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!! Also read reviews they look so fake. You still won't tell me what the issue is!! The company is limited on companies house and the bank account is a business one. Why aren't you paying me out?!

Unable to contact Dean Scott by phone and calls cut off before I could leave a message. Called support centre but not had the requested call back.

United Kingdom | 10 May 2023AVOID. I was contacted by a member of the Teya team and then arranged a meeting with a representative called Joe Inman who came in and was very helpful. He explained that Teya charge a flat fee of 0.8% regardless of card type and that this could give us a significant saving compared to our current provider. I took some time to consider but decided the saving was worth having so contacted Joe to go ahead. When he came in to install the card machine and get us set up, he then said that the fees for some cards are actually more (after telling me it was a flat fee at our first meeting) – but showed me that even with this it would even out as cheaper as we don’t take many of that card type. I had asked him previously about taking card payments (specifically manually) over the phone and he assured me this was possible (we take a lot of manual input phone payments) At this second meeting, he said would need to ‘speak to the tech team’ to get manual card input set up as well as the payment link which was already on the machine. This was not mentioned before so I was a bit annoyed but he assured me it would only take a couple of days and then we would be able to manually input card details. He encouraged us to start using the machine anyway but I let him know that as this was such an important feature for us we would not be using the terminal until this was available. I also asked him for the cancellation template for our current provider. I then had to chase him 3 times about the above and had nothing, just excuses. I finally decided enough was enough and called Amy who we had spoken to initially and she said she would get him to call me straightaway, but after an hour I had still heard nothing. I then called the support team and they informed me that it is in fact NOT POSSIBLE to have manual input card payments put onto the machine. So the rep actually lied to me and has continued to string me along, I imagine hoping I would just get on with it and forget about it. As you can imagine I am extremely unhappy about the whole situation. I have never been lied to in such a way by a rep in order to get a sale. I will be referring this to the financial ombudsman as I do think it constitutes mis-selling and malpractice. Teya have also completely ignored this complaint which I emailed to them 2 weeks ago. I had to send this email 3 times to 3 separate email addresses as one does not work (email bounced back), the old saltpay email also does not work. I had to reach out to Teya's team who advised me to send this to a different email address but I have been ignored.
