I had a terrible experience with this moving company and I highly advise against using their services. They initially quoted me a price of $3000 for my two-room apartment move and asked for a deposit to reserve the spot. When I listed the items that needed to be moved as asked, the boss stopped me and said it wasn't necessary to list everything, assuring me that the list I provided was sufficient to create the contract. Afterwards, I started receiving several calls from the contracted movers about arrival dates and times, and they even showed up on the wrong date. The movers then tried to convince me to cancel the move, claiming that there was too much stuff and not enough room for it. (if I canceled the move the contract says they can keep the deposit in full)To make matters worse, the day before the move, while at the apartment, they informed me that the price would be doubled, which felt like a blatant attempt to extort more money from me. When I confronted the company's boss and managers about these issues, they refused to address the matter, leaving me with no choice but to cancel the move and dispute the $917 deposit. It was a frustrating and disappointing experience overall.
