We had been thinking about installing solar panels for sometime the ever increasing energy prices pushed us to do something about it. From the initial phone call to Greener Energy to the home assessment by Simon Tees to the installation of the panels & battery by Sandy the roofer & Chris the electrician it was all a simple & straightforward process. Simon was brilliant at explaining how many panels we could have & what our savings could be over the year, the benefits of having the battery & of changing how we use our energy & making the most of the energy from the panels during the day. The panels were installed just over 2 weeks after our visit from Simon. In this time Greener Energy kept in touch with us by phone & email. The installation day arrived & the fitters arrived, introduced themselves & explained what access they needed. The instal was completed with minimal disruption. Once installed & connected up Chris took us through the battery & inverter & set us up with & talked us through the app. All the fitters were brilliant very pleasant & helpful & tidied up fully before they left. From Day 1 we have seen major savings on our electricity. Yesterday for example we used the dishwasher, washing machine & had the oven on for the obligatory Sunday roast. Our usage from the grid was £0.43. Massive savings on what we would have previously used. Once we have all the paperwork from Greener Energy we will be applying for an SEG (Smart Export Guarantee) this will allow us to get paid by our energy provider for any excess power we put back to the grid. We have only had the panels for 4 days & have already exported 21.2 kWh. Every little helps! All in all the whole experience has been very worthwhile & something we wish we had done so much sooner. We would have no hesitation on recommending Greener Energy for Solar Panel installation.

From the start everything was clear and well explained. Little bit of delay on the panels which messed about the roofers as they had a lot of travelling to do. If they were annoyed they didn't show it, very professional pair. The electrican was with me promptly and sorted everything out quickly and helped me understand what was going/how the app worked etc. Great service overall, already recommended to a friend.

Greener Energy were quick in responding to my enquiry on PV panels and within about three weeks they were installed, while enquiries to other companies went unanswered. Polite, efficient, knowledgeable installers employed by the company. Head Office staff are approachable and accommodating.

My Solar Panel and Battery installation was completed on 22/08/2022. Both the panel installation and the electrical and battery hook-up were carried out with care and attention. The work was carried out with minimal interference and all waste was removed from my property on work completion. The electrician took time to explain the battery operation and assist with mobile app registration.

Contacted Greener Energy regarding battery storage to complement existing solar panels system. Installation was more involved due to extra wiring requirement. Good prompt service. Very happy with service. Thank you.

Our overall experience with Greener Energy has been a positive one albeit our journey has not been as smooth as we would have liked. They were especially helpful at overcoming an unexpected planning consent issue and this was much appreciated. A number of scheduling challenges spoilt what would otherwise have been a 5 star review.

Very efficient gentleman appeared yesterday and Finally( I hope ) sorted the issues that I've had with the Air Source pump. This was the fifth time in as many weeks that this issue appeared. It now seems to be working perfectly but I'm holding my breath

Energy surveyor was informative and described ASHP & hybrid boiler in some detail with video presentation and costs / benefits. Communication with Greener Energy after sales was comprehensive with detailed information on the lead in times, payment schedule and potential to request Energy Saving Trust grants. The installation went almost to plan within the designated 2 day timescale, Only delay was boiler & ASHP stalled at suppliers depot however the onsite team went and collected. Install team worked well together with mechanical and electrical teams on site and all issues resolved and site cleaned and consumables removed. Will need to wait and see what the overall hybrid system benefits are as the heat pump is only working when room heating is required. Expecting combi boiler to be more efficient at 83% than 22 year old combi. I would be happy to recommend Greener Energy to anyone looking for new boiler & Air source heat pump as they have well managed procedures in place to help customers negotiate each stage of process with attentive customer and technical staff.

Our 4 month journey with Greener Energy has been both pretty good and also an interesting learning experience. The 5kW Solar PV installation is working well, alongside a Vaillant 5kW hybrid Heat Pump system. Through July/Aug the solar PV system has already halved our electric consumption. With the Eddi diverter on the immersion this has reduced our gas consumption by about half as well. We are looking forward to testing the heat pump system through the Autumn/winter. Accessing funding through HES/EST has been straightforward, and although it does make the installation longer, it also ensures that the two systems are affordable & worth doing. The Greener Energy team have been professional and helpful at every stage.

From the initial phone call to enquire about solar panels and a battery system we have been met with a very high degree of professionalism. The advice given with regards to the system that would be most suitable for our needs was determined and we were guided through the loan application process for a government interest free loan. Once the loan had been secured it was only a matter of a couple of weeks before we had the system installed. The installation process was very straight forward, completed in a very timely manner and we received a thorough explanation of the system prior to the installation engineer leaving our property. 10 out of 10 service
