France | 16 March 2023They lie, they don't give valuable reasons as to why they won't accept your documents. I didn't have a great experience with the customer service, they are slow, I find their platform pretty complicated. They are not up to date regarding legislation meaning some things they do are straight up illegal

United States | 09 March 2023I use a software that can integrate only with Twilio so I've been trying to contact Twilio for the past 2 weeks to become a new member. Their website says "World class customer support". But it's as if the company doesn't exist or they don't have any employees. I've tried contacting them through their website requesting someone from sales call me to discuss their products, I've tried calling them directly each and every day leaving voicemails. I've tried texting them and even leaving them feedback on their website. This is a wakeup call that if it's impossible to connect with anyone now and I'm not even a customer yet, I have no hope that anything will magically change once they have my debit card number on file and taking my money. I'm so disappointed in the time I've wasted for my business just trying to talk to someone there. I'm going to stay as far away from Twilio as I possibly can and I recommend you do the same.

Morocco | 28 February 2023I signed up to twilio few years ago, I was developing an app to use this API to message my customers. I just try to fund my production account using Paypal. Once funded my account, they took money and suspended my account for no reason. Very strange. I contacted them few days ago, but no response till now. Try to use other service. Twilio is just a wast of time.

United Kingdom | 16 February 2023Appalling customer service - I cannot recommend this 'service' less. Cancelled 2 initial sales calls within minutes of their schedule - thanks Jonny S who was supposed to be helping me from their sales team. What a joke! God knows how bad they are at actually supporting their customers if they are that bad at getting new sales!! Timewasters.

United States | 12 February 2023Recently, we experienced Twilio disconnecting over 600 numbers in our account due to suspicious call activity without any prior warning or discussion of rectifying the issue. Not only that Twilio has disconnected numbers belonging to donut shops, retail stores, and other small businesses across the United States that we service. What's even more concerning is their lack of communication when trying to discuss resolutions - Twilio has refused to engage in dialogue with our company after years of service. The only way to contact Twilio is via their sales department, and even then they show no initiative to help. I have been involved in the telecom industry since The Deregulation Act of 1997 and I have never seen a professional company act in such a manner as Twilio has. We strongly advise against using Twilio for any kind of long-term customer capacity. For more information, please contact me at 8007953560. Thank you for your attention.

United States | 13 January 2023I didn't even finish setting up an account, it was already bad experience... I wanted to use SendGrid to send emails to subscribers of my email group, a personal project. Which I explained when registering an account. Nevertheless, I was given a link to contact customer support because they couldn't create my account without "verification". I filled out their form where one of the questions was email to send messages, so I specified my group email. I never authorized them to use it. However, they kept sending ticket information to the entire group of unsuspecting users because they felt like CCing it for "verification"! Even after I said they shouldn't send spam to the group email I didn't authorize them to use. They were asking for my "business" information even after I said the account was for personal use, and to provide my profiles on the internet, with my company name, nothing to do with the project. Which I refused to do and closed the account. I banned their email on my group server, to block spam. I also asked to immediately delete my personal information to which I got a reply that they would like keep it for awhile for their own purposes, according to their "privacy policy". No, they're supposed to remove it immediately upon a user's request!

United Kingdom | 07 January 2023Spent months reporting spam emails to Twilio - that have come from their own servers - they have done absolutely nothing about it - also they now own Sendgrid, they have closed the Sendgrid abuse email but not taken down the webpage giving advise to contact them via email to report spam. Serious scams and spam coming from Twilio servers and they are not fulfulling their responsibility to counteract it.

United States | 03 January 2023Every scammer or harassing sales person that calls my phone uses your software. I am about to go nuclear on your company on Twitter. Fix it!

United States | 29 December 2022I canceled twilio over 2 years ago now. I requested the numbers be released and completely closed. I just received ANOTHER email requesting a new card and saying my account is still be billed and will continue to bill me until I again go through the cancellation process that I already completed TWO YEARS ago. So has my account just been accumulating for 2 years now?? This has been the absolute worst company to deal with. No actual person to speak to. No way to get any real answers. I’m looking into a lawyer at this point. Choose any other company!! Stay far away from twilio!!

United Kingdom | 22 December 2022No one to answer the phones. Looks like the company is too cheap to hire people but has no problem selling numbers to scammers.

United States | 08 December 2022I've been getting spam emails from Twilio for a couple of weeks. They reply and claim that they're doing something about the spammer who keeps harassing me, but nothing is actually done. Twilio is hosting spammers, not legitimate companies.

Australia | 06 December 2022They asked many documents during the on boarding process, we have provided everything (company docs and personal docs) and then they said that they can't proceed with the application without giving any explanation. Seems like a classic identity theft be careful there are many other better solutions with a lower cost.

Israel | 24 November 2022Be careful, Twilio has been hacked, and as they are bad times, want to make me pay almost 12000 dollars in 1 day... I've been fighting with them for almost 20 days to get a refund. In the meantime, my customers no longer have access to the platform.

Pakistan | 08 November 2022First waste your precious time asking useless questions why are you opening this account ? Why did you even chose us ? What use case you have for it ? And then simply say you NOPE . We can't provide our services to you

United Kingdom | 04 November 2022How can this company be allowed to continue trading - it is perfectly clear to see on sites such as who called me, that their company appears to be causing stress and concern to lots of people. I have been harassed by people that are calling from numbers registered to Twilio - yet it is allowed to continue. I can't call them scammers as I don't know that is true but they certainly do not appear to be genuine. Should not be allowed to continue cold calling people, especially ones that are registered with schemes that prohibit them being called.
