This was definitely the strangest experience I've ever had. I signed up and got banned before I even began. When I reached out to customer support, they asked what I needed. I provided a letter with all my company's details, explaining that as a new marketing agency, I wanted to test their services. Instead of help, they just sold me a US number and restricted my cards. My company is US-based and has been transparent with no issues working with any software company until now. Yet, they simply said they're sorry but can't work with me, without giving any explanation.

I recently had a frustrating experience with Twilio's regulatory compliance process that left me feeling incredibly dissatisfied with their service. Despite providing all the necessary documentation, including my Spanish ID card and proof of residency, my account was inexplicably suspended, preventing me from accessing the services I needed. The lack of communication and clarity throughout the process was concerning. Even after multiple attempts to resolve the issue, I was met with generic responses and no real solutions. It's disheartening to encounter such incompetence and lack of accountability from a company that prides itself on reliability. Furthermore, the rejection of my regulatory bundle without clear explanation or opportunity for recourse reflects poorly on Twilio's commitment to customer satisfaction. This level of inefficiency and disregard for customer needs is simply unacceptable. As a result of this experience, I can no longer trust Twilio as a reliable service provider. I will be exploring alternative options that prioritize transparency, efficiency, and customer support. Twilio's regulatory compliance process has left me thoroughly disappointed and disillusioned.

Harassment, pure and simple. Calls all day from Guildford, London, Glasgow, Southend-on-Sea etc. It's been going on for weeks now. I block each number but they just ring on a different one. I will be reporting to Ofcom on this. I think we all should.

I'm having multiple spam calls from 020 453 84389 regarding making a My Diesel Claim. This number is from Ireland, although it has a London code. I've been trying for 16 weeks now to get them to stop their annoying harassment; to no avail. The calls are from Twilio Ireland Ltd. I think that legal action action should take place against this company......and i am thinking of doing it.

Won’t stop calling. Every day multiple times from various numbers. I’ve answered and asked for them to stop calling and take me off their list but still they do. 4 times already on a Saturday. Disgusting company

Rung me whilst I was on a work call. I rung back and some obnoxious rude man started being abusive, saying he wasn’t trying to sell anything- then hung up! Disgusting behaviour.

Twilio used to offer computer authy software (identity checks) but now they are saying they are only going to offer authy software for smartphones and closing the services for computer users. Yet another company that oposes the free market by saying life without a smartphone is not an option.

Silent calls day and night. Very distressing for my 91 year old Dad. Have had to disconnect his phone until I can get number blocked. Shameful that your tech enables these calls.

Indian accented man calling me 'M'am' called from 01244007863 which is a Twilio phone number. First he claimed to be from O2, then Virgin. Clearly Twilio are being used by an Indian Scamming Call Centre. Blocked. Appalling activity by an Irish company.

Wanted to use Twilio Whatsapp API. It ask to pay a fee to upgrade account in order to use it. After paying 20USD, the onboarding process is so buggy and doesnt work at all. After raise a ticket on 19th Jan, a standard reply from them where they will investigate and check. Followed up on 22nd Jan, they say will pass to other department to check the issue. On 29th Jan finally got a proper response where they say they need to schedule a calendar to add me to a whatsapp group (Still not a solution to their issue). 2nd Feb i request a refund for the 20USD because the product still not usable, they give alot of excuses that I did not respond to his previous request to join the whatsapp group. I have found a better and stable platform to use Whatsapp API already. I dont need poor service from Twilio anymore. Others platform only took like 1-2hours to onboard. Twilio took 2 weeks and still have not solve the issue.

I would like to share our experience regarding the use of Twilio, but I strongly advise against using this platform due to the negative experiences we have encountered. I do not recommend using the services provided by Twilio, as they have a tendency to abruptly terminate their services, and their response time to address issues with customer support can be quite lengthy. In particular, when we started using the WhatsApp messaging services, an announcement was made that messaging to and from Turkey would be discontinued. This situation forced us to completely halt our project. Twilio later announced that they would continue messaging to and from Turkey, attributing the problem to an issue with Meta. Then, we decided to continue with them. However, this decision turned out to be a significant mistake because Twilio unexpectedly closed the WhatsApp messaging feature for users in Turkey without prior notice. Moreover, this happened despite their assurance that such a situation would not occur. Therefore, I believe that using Twilio products in any software project is an extremely risky approach, and I strongly advise staying away from this platform. Serious issues exist in terms of customer satisfaction and reliability, which can negatively impact your business processes.
