United States | 15 August 2024It was unpleasant, just after I had funded with $20 they banned me. Without even having used the service for no reason. Look for another service other than Twilio. And support doesn't respond in time and they told me they were going to refund me but I never got the refund, it's been 2 months. It was traumatizing to deal with all that and in the end there was no solution.

Mexico | 06 August 2024I tried setting a phone number for my customer, went ahead and did all the documentation, sent files, etc, etc However their automated document verification system did not let me proceed no matter what, tried like 4 different ways, uploaded documents many times and no luck. Sent support ticket after that, got many replies saying they will reach out to me once their team reviews my ticket, that was 8 days ago and still no luck. Will not use this company anymore for this or any other customer project in the future, they were excellent 5 years ago, not anymore.

Romania | 29 July 2024Didn't expect such abhorrent documentation on any service ever. One of our senior developers had to spend 3 work days to find out that in fact, Twilio on IE1 was broken. 0 documentation, no explanation on the APIs that are unchanged since 2010, so they had plenty of time to document them, poor isolation (even not existent) between regions so screw GDPR, gives the appearance of legitimacy. The Queue system has the same database for all regions, but it just doesn't work for all regions except US. Overall, expected way better. Gotten poor results.

Poland | 07 July 2024If I could put 0 I would. We were scammed with sms fraud to the tune of 2000USD. Eventually they refunded us. However 2 months later they canceled our account because of a bank charge back which we had cancelled. They basically threw our business under the bus. No one could sign up to our service for days. If you want to lose your clients and damage your business use twilio.

Your business will suffer with no sign ups for a day and they don't give a rats. It's actually insane that they are this bad

United States | 06 July 2024This company is skimming. They are a fraud. Buyers beware and use another company. I was able to conclusively prove this. How it works because they charge such a low dollar fee they will start skimming from your first deposit. Then if you lower your deposit amount you will see it because they don’t have it set up to skim on a 10 scale of numbers it’s done on a percentage basis. That’s why they never let any users deposit less than 20$. You won’t miss 3-4$ on 20$ but on 10$ it’s noticeable. They are literally a complex algorithmic mathematical scam based on text messaging.

United Kingdom | 02 July 2024Unfotunitly I need to add to the SCAM breach email I was sent an email that my account had been breached and that it was suspended, I rerviewed the logs and the only access made on my account was by a Twilio Admin that changed my account status In the resolution instructions they want me to provide them with what happened and how I intent to resolve it I think it's astonishing that a company would add a backdoor into their software breach it using the backdoor then make the customers explain it

United States | 06 June 2024I attempted to work with this company. They have failed to provide advertised service. In summary: 1. We made an appointment to pay more money and purchase additional services. The person with whom I made the appointment was not professional and kept saying AXE instead of ASK. He scheduled me for a time and date, but never sent any calendar invite, and nobody contacted me on the appointment date/time. I was unable to schedule a follow up appointment, they replied with irrelevant comments and closed the ticket. 2. They advertise a 1 day response time, multiple tickets I have created received no reply to my inquiry and were closed. 3. They suspended the account without explaining why. I attempted to find out why but no reply was given. Only copy-paste robotic replies. In summary, trying to work with this company is less effective than having a conversation with a wall. It is impossible to contact anyone competent.

United States | 01 June 2024Absolutely the worst customer service I think I've experienced in a while. There is no customer support number so you're forced to write a ticket to attain any help. Which I did. Twilio has been charging me for months for services they DID NOT PROVIDE ME after THEY DENIED my application because I provide credit repair services. The rep. Alex Monsalvo answered my ticket and went in circles over and over again asking me for information I had already provided him. I made it clear I wanted a refund for all the charges I wasn't provided services for since Twilio denied my application. He asked me for the dates 3 times, then proceeded to tell me they'll provide me a refund for the amount left in my account once I closed my account. That's great but what about all of the payments I already made and wasn't provided services. I wanted a refund for all of it. He then asked me for which dates, and then asked me for screenshots. Then once again asked me for the dates and then again the screenshots. After I wrote an email pointing out that if he doesn't help me that I will be contacting the FTC and the BBB, he FINALLY responded and said HE LOOKED INTO MY BILLING HISTORY and will send the ticket to the billing team! IN OTHER WORDS HE DIDNT NEED ANY OF THE INFORMATION HE ASKED ME TO PROVIDE OVER AND OVER. HE WAS ABLE TO ACCESS IT FROM THE BEGINNING. THIS MEANS HE KNEW HE WAS SUPPOSE TO REFER ME TO THE BILLING TEAM BUT YET PROCEEDED TO RIDE ME AROUND IN CIRCLES!!

Australia | 31 May 2024There was little to no promptness from their support team when I contacted them about the pricing on the shortcode option, for which they sent emails requesting data and a price list. I filled out the form and sent it back with the query whether the pricing is the same for everyone or it is customisable for individuals use case. And they went forward with the transaction and charged me without explaining the pricing. And their prices are completely outrageous when compared to other service providers.

United Kingdom | 25 May 2024I've had two unknown calls to my mobile recently and after carefully googling the number and what eventually I find, is this company. Best avoid this business if they have to spam you for customers. I of course blocked and deleted their calls.
