I found out that it was difficult to track down as many of the small DIY stores which stocked the product have sadly closed down hence I contacted Ewbank direct and was able to order online and receive the product

What a lovely change to buy a product, whose build quality is just as good as ever. The carpet sweeper is excellent at picking up crumbs, seeds, hairs, etc. The time from ordering to delivery was excellent, especially at this time of year.

The Ewbank Hard floor Sweeper with dust mop is a great idea and does work to a point. I hoped it would pick up a bit better but with the dust mop you can sweep whatever it leaves into a corner and pick up with a dustpan and brush. Does save me getting the hoover out everyday which is what I wanted.

This small push along ewbank floor sweeper is so light and easy to use would recommend it for a quick sweep up. The price I paid was very low making it even more a good buy

This cleaner replaced my 33 year-old Rowenta. Overall, I am quite pleased with it. I have replaced one of the metal hoses with a plastic one bought separately on-line, and this fits at the bottom end, as I wanted to use the end directly along floor/ceiling joins, without the possibility of leaving scratches, whilst leaving the adjustable metal hose piece in place. I have also discarded the two heads, as I find them somewhat clunky and heavy, and instead I am using an ordinary one also bought separately, and by always setting the brush to the lower level for all surfaces I find that it picks up dog fur very well. This makes the whole thing lighter to use. (Tip: before vacuuming, scuff the sole of your shoe over the carpets and even chairs and this picks up a large percentage of any dog fur without it going into the vacuum). The one thing I do not like is having to spend ten minutes after each use cleaning out the main filter. Really, I can't believe how much and how easily the dust collects in it, and wonder if the design intentions are outweighed by this inconvenience and/or the way the design has been implemented. I clean it out with an old toothbrush, but it's impossible to get all of the dust out, and because of that I am concerned as to how long it will last before "wearing out", and so I have already purchased a spare filter off the Ewbank website. I've still given a rating of 4, to recognise that the above "modifications" are down largely to personal choice.

Very efficient, lightweight and easy to store. Most useful addition to household cleaning equipment, especially for a quick "whip round" to freshen the look of the carpets in between hoovering.

I spoke to your office who assured me the pads would fit our machine but that was not the case The ones supplied were much bigger than our machine I think ours is an fp1000 regards
