We have been using LCP for about 2 years now, prior to LCP we used UK Mail. The contrast between companies has been a breath of fresh air. We do get the odd problem with some delivery (but is no different to any other courier we have used - Interlink, Royal Mail and TNT). The difference is the way in which LCP deal with those issues. The team in Newcastle are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble and they always get back to you with solutions. The Dispatch system is also by far the best I have used, orders are pulled stright from my eBay account and website. I don’t typically leave reviews but they are certainly worthy of 5 stars.

Not the next day. Waiting for this parcel and it's actually passed where I live to be at a depot way further north by some 100 miles Well done. Thanks for the email at 9:32 pm telling me it's going to be delivered by 9pm.

Company sending me unsolicited/ unwanted marketing email Response: The option to soft opt -in is only legitimate where it can be seen as reasonable to do so based on previous engagement, such as buying an item, you can opt-in to other items on sale. You've never had my permission to have my data, and I do not view this as legitimate.

This is my first and will be my last experience of Low Cost Parcels. Whilst low cost is a good attribute this is only in the context of the service being paid for actually being provided. Low cost when you don't get what you paid for is expensive. One thing to clarify is that Low Cost Parcels (in London at least) is actually Yodel. Nowhere is this mentioned on their website Subcontracting your logistics/delivery to Yodel is like subcontracting your pension safekeeping to Robert Maxwell Yodel themselves allegedly attempted to deliver a parcel three times to my address despite not actually managing to leave any evidence of their presence there (calling card etc). The last of these they made no effort to actually ascertain whether I would be in. This is despite me telling them exactly when I would be in after the first delivery attempt. They therefore said they would not attempt another delivery. Kindly Low Cost Parcels when contacted agreed to arrange a delivery for today. Being naturally suspicious, I checked this first thing this morning only to find that the parcel was not en route to be delivered but still at the depot which was over an hour away and closed 2.5 hours later. One rushed round trip of 2.5 hours later I had eventually managed to get the parcel which was dispatched 9 days prior shortly before it would become useless anyway. Lessons to learn for Low Cost Parcels: 1. Low Cost should be good value not cheap and unreliable 2. Not being accurate or reliable to customers about when things will be delivered/delivery attempts does not endear good relations and can have significant impacts on those customers. Lessons for potential customers/retailers 1. I will not be purchasing/comissioning any product from any retailer or other service provider who use Low Cost Parcels as when I do purchase something, I generally expect it to be delivered. On the above evidence, I cannot predict whether this will happen or not. I suggest that others follow the same strategy and will be encouraging those I know and do business with to do the above. 2. When retailers are commissioning logistic services, ensure that you use a reliable delivery service which actually caters to the working population in the 21st century. Things can still go wrong but DPD, Royal Mail and Amazon can generally get things to you reliably. Yodel might have worked in the 90's but it has no place now.
