I cannot wait on hold for an hour waiting to see if someone might answer. AJ Madison's good prices do not outweigh the extremely poor customer service . I would not buy from them again.

United States | 21 October 2020I wrote a review on 28th September and of course, none of the instructions I was finally able to get to their horrible delivery and pickup partner were passed to a driver the way I’d been assured. I was out of town and finally these useless appliances were picked up. That was 2 weeks ago. No email confirmation, nothing. As of now, no refund on these items for #124636375. For goodness sake, just give me my money back already!

United States | 20 October 2020Ordered a washer and dryer and 2 pedestals. After I paid I got an email that the pedestals were not available and backordered. I emailed back to cancel the order. No response. I emailed again today and still no response. Called customer service and was on hold for over an hour. Someone finally picked up and asked what I wanted. When I told her I wanted to cancel an order she said she would need to transfer me. I have now been on hold for 2 hours and 57 minutes as I write this review. Never Again!!!!

United States | 16 October 2020BY FAR THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I bought 2 fridges back in mid July. They never gave me a real time when my fridges would be delivered. I eventually got a date and my fridges arrived 2 months later (the time it took is not my complaint because of COVID I am giving them the benefit of the doubt). HOWEVER, one of the fridges they delivered was the wrong fridge. So the first time i called i waited about an hour to get someone on the line, I explained my issue and the lady told me that they had my fridge on the truck and they just dropped off the wrong one, she said she'd give me a call back once she gets a hold of them so they could drop mine off. I wait a couple hours and I dont get a response so I call back and wait another hour, I get the same person and I ask her any updates and she says "dont worry i havent forgotten about you, but it probably wont be delivered today, we'll give you call when we can drop it off". So I wait a couple more days and call back, this time I wait an hour and half only to get someone to pick up and hang up on me. I was beyond frustrated so I waited another couple days to call back because i cant keep waiting on the phone. I call again, i wait another hour, unfortunately I had a meeting so I had to hang up before I got anyone on the line. Then I call 2 days later wait an hour and 15 mins, the same lady finally picks up (im starting to think that's the only person who works in customer service) and I explain my situation and frustration. she spends about 20-25 mins with me and says that she cant get ahold of the people who have my fridge so she'll order me a new one but it wont ship for another 2-3 weeks. Im even more frustrated but my hands are tied so I said ok fine. My fridge ships September 25th and it gives me a delivery date between oct 2-9th. It is now the 16th and my fridge still isnt here. I called AJ Madison again today waited an hour and 5 mins and someone picked and HUNG UP AGAIN!!!!!! I'm currently calling them back while writing this review and I have been waiting 35 mins. This is BEYYYYYOONNNND ridiculous. You call their sales people and they pick up right away but if you have an issue, you're pretty much screwed. To me it honestly feels like they purposely put you on a hour hold, hoping that you'll hang up so they dont have to deal with as many issues. I have called in all hours of the day and I have never once waited less than an hour to get to someone. PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! THE CHEAPER PRICES ARE NOT WORTH THE HEADACHES.

United States | 14 October 2020The level of communication and business practices are absurdly bad. The logistics company they used for the split shipment never called 30 minutes before despite the rep promising so after telling me the window. They said they didn’t have reception. Exactly zero mobile carriers don’t have reception within 30 minutes of the Los Angeles metro area. He straight up lied and then tried to leave because I wasn’t home when they just showed up at their leisure. But that’s not the point of this review... They had me pay to split ship an order, which I ended up having to do because half my order is lost in the ether... I wish I could get any update from them but here I am writing a 1 star review because I STILL haven’t gotten a response from them via email or any useful information via phone call. The order was on August 23rd. No communication that I didn’t have to fight for... None. Can’t do final inspection without the dishwasher. Here I am in limbo with a company that could care less about their customers. Reading the reviews here are remarkable similar. Clearly we’re not alone. It’s just absurd.

Customer service does not answer nor do they call back or respond to email Avoid 124792775 Please provide a timely response. Its like you all took my money and wiped your hands They called me within an hour of giving a 1 star review with a solution to my problem. Happy for the resolution!! Wish they would have answered and or called me back. Prices are good. Delivery was fast considering it’s 2020

United States | 13 October 2020BEWARE!!!!! DO NOT USE AM TRUCKING OR AJ MADISON!!!!! I would also rate this 0 if possible. We placed our order with AJMadison at the beginning of September. They contract AM Trucking for delivery services. Our refrigerator was estimated to be delivered on 9/11. No responses to calls, no callbacks after being told numerous times we would receive one, no responses to email as well. Refrigerator was finally delivered on 10/12. Drivers arrived 1.5 hours before the window of 10:30-2:30 with no call 30 minutes before arriving as we were told would happen. They showed up with no masks, then said they couldn’t fit it through the door, left it in the box in my garage. We paid the additional fee for installation as well and the driver said he doesn’t install. No responses from AM Delivery other than someone will call you and also no responses from AJMadison. Have been on hold over an hour with AJMadison 2 different times with no answers. When you select the sales option, they answer quickly, but then will not help you and just place you on hold again for customer service who never picks up. Worst customer experience of my life. Filed a claim with the BBB on AJMadison but AM Delivery is not BBB accredited so it won’t matter for them. I am checking the box below to allow AM Delivery to see my review, but they never respond to emails so I do not expect that they’ll care. I will say, if you are an employee of either of these companies, you obviously sold your morals as a decent human being to work there. I feel sorry for you.

I am sure it is on backorder but that should have been conveyed on the product page. You place an order and then zero update. It has been 6 weeks!!! Not a word. We were doing tile work so not in a rush but now the work is done and we need our laundry appliances.

United States | 06 October 2020Disgraceful and unethical company. They fraudulently showed active inventory (to one up or cheat their competition) for a fridge. I followed up with their Tracking link four separate times over a MONTH. Finally after sending them an email I receive a response that, after waiting daily for 4 weeks for a delivery, that in fact the fridge isn't in stock and will not be until the end of November. Their deep lack of respect and care in NOT following up with me in any way whatsoever is why you should never TRUST these people at AJ Madison. What a disgraceful firm and what disgraceful employees for not reaching out to communicate a delay or their "BTW, we don't even have the fridge that you bought a month ago." Good riddance to this New York City cabal!

United States | 29 September 2020The most awful experience thus far. They don't sent you updates on your order and if you call you are on hold for practically your entire day! I get businesses are struggling during Covid but this is beyond ridiculous! AJMadison is a large company and should at least have automated alerts sent about the orders if there are delays. This is the second time I have called and had to wait for 4+ hours and right now I am still on hold past 4 hours.

Have no way of getting hold of customer service. finally, got hold of their sales people after waiting in line for 90 minutes and sales just quickly transfer me to customer service which just has voice message which never call back. worst customer service ever and I still haven't received my product a week after promised date. Avoid! terrible company. called their trucking company AM Trucking... also terrible company... wait on call forever. no response. claimed will call back and never does. wasted days and still on hold right now. I move this to 3-stars...hopefully get an update soon and delivery does happen next week.. thanks! UPDATE: LIARS!!! finally talked to shipper after waiting for 40 minutes on phone. Shipper still doesn't know when the train is going to arrive California!!! so 3 weeks after shipment date, still don't know when my dishwasher will arrive California? They said they will know when they can ship my item to me once it arrives in California. A month ago, I called AJ Madison to order an item that they claimed they have in stock and can ship right away, and can arrive in 1-2 weeks. Now, it's a month since my order and don't know where the item is. Terrible company using a terrible shipper.

United States | 29 September 2020Absolute worst customer service I've ever had in my life. I've been waiting 3 weeks and they haven't even processed my order yet. I can't get a hold of anyone. I've tried calling (waited on hold 2 hours and gave up). I've tried emailing, Facebook, and still 3 weeks later not a word. I just want them to cancel the damn order at this point so I can find a reliable company to purchase from. Just know if you buy anything from them your on your own after that. United States | 25 September 2020So Jonathan called today to resolve my issue (no power cord with the appliance), he seemed like he was toing to take of things but after I explained the situation he said "let me get you to customer service so this can be taken care of right away" - then "your call is very important to us - yada yada yada" and no answer for 30 minutes AGAIN!!! Now I want to return the product - FAT CHANCE!! The pits - do not under any circumstance buy from AJ Madison! Their customer service is where customers go to die!!! They are barely responsive when trying to buy something so no surprise when my VERY expensive Miele coffee machine showed up with no power cord their customer service dept is no where to be found. Called - on hold for 30 minutes, no answer; emailed - no response. The Miele appliances and some others are price controlled by the manufacturer so do yourself a favor and buy from a local merchant.

I finally got one email response saying end of August and now I cant get any response and my stove has not shipped. I am beyond frustrated as I haven't had a stove for months and my kitchen remodel is done and we have no idea what is happening. No one will respond and live chat has disappeared. United States | 08 September 2020From my experience this company will answer their phone and take you order gladly. however if you need any type of customer service they never return phone calls and never return your emails if you have any issues whatsoever. I purchased a washer online four weeks ago I have not received an email confirmation that if it has been shipped or not I sent them numerous emails regarding my purchase. I never got email reply back I tried calling them left numerous messages they never have called me back. Horrible to deal with during this time of crisis. I chalked up that as an excuse however their sales department will gladly take your money I guess that's how they stay in business. My order number is 123126175. Electrolux washer. Talked to agent twice today. Both times I asked him to check on my order he said hold on and transferred my call directly to voice mail . 9/21/2020 update. I still have not received an email directly from them regarding my washer . Checked my junk mail not there either. No returned phone call.

United States | 01 September 2020I could not be more passionate about spreading the word that absolutely nobody should ever order anything from this company. I've been dealing with them for over 2.5 months now and my order is still not done. No order status transparency. Waited over an hour multiple different times to just speak with a customer service rep. Still waiting on my range to be fully delivered. Paid for the premium full service shipping, and they outsourced it to a company that refused to comply with the delivery instructions. They only work when I call, wait on the phone, and tell them what to do. It has been exhausting.

United States | 31 August 2020I purchased the Avanti RMS551SS side by side refrigerator in 2019 and it was not working 13 months later. I had purchased the service plan, but New Leaf their provider is slow to respond, and in the end while I am getting the money I paid for the unit back, it is not the replacement I thought I was getting (I purchased the item on sale and paid $99 for the plan). So I am now without a refrigerator, and my $99. I have to wait 2-3 weeks for my money to be returned, while I order a new refrigerator. Appliances break, that is not uncommon, so I suggest finding a retailer who has a better service partner. That is what I am doing for my replacement, ordered it from a store that does their own service.

United States | 28 August 2020I ordered a frig and needed to cancel it over a two week period. I emailed them 7 times and called 6 times. No email response and all six times i left a message or got hung up on. When I finally got a hold of someone they said that it was shipped 1 hour ago and after it is shipped I have to pay a restocking fee. I am filing a complaint with BBB and my credit card company. Do not buy from this company
