I spent hours on hold and they don't seem to mind. The refrigerator was defective and they wanted a 20% restocking because I didn't have the original boxes they left in pouring rain. I wouldn't suggest using this company

United States | 03 June 2021Delivery and installation of refrigerator was scheduled 9-1pm. First I get an email around 11am saying they are on the way. Then I get a phone call saying they are delayed and will come 1-4. At around 3:30 I get a call and they claim the truck was towed and they can’t come so I have to reschedule. Terrible experience.

United States | 27 May 2021Just received my delivery from them. The washer and dryer looks like someone was having a bad day. Now I'm into my second hour of trying to get someone on the phone. But, if you hit the number for sales you be answered within minutes. If your not buying anything you will be on hold forever or hung up on. Will NEVER do business with this unprofessional company. Once they have your money they have nothing for you. You've been warned.

AJ Madison misrepresented the actual damage to the stove and it’s currently unserviceable without necessary parts to repair it, which they refuse to send and have stopped corresponding about it. They are unresponsive, show very much apathy in trying to resolve the issue, and won’t return any phone calls or emails. Shop somewhere else!!

United States | 26 May 2021Ordered a Samsung wall unit oven/microwave. Delivery was prompt compared to other companies, but that was the only good thing. About 2 days after having it installed, my wife did the self cleaning. This locked the oven door and it won't unlock. For over a week, we have been going round and round with samsung with no resolution. We have 2 ticket numbers. The last person we spoke with said we had reached the top of the chain - still nothing. Now we'll call aj madison and talk to them. Think twice about doing business with aj madison or samsung. Another thing we found out about samsung. They are a korean company and very few appliance repair shops work on their appliances. Beware.

United States | 25 May 2021The absolute worst company to deal with. After six weeks of long phone wait times and three no-shows, my microwave is still sitting in the box. The initial installer said he forgot his drill bits. He also incorrectly hooked up the dishwasher, and now water spews from the air topper. I also found a bracket in its original package sitting on the counter which said "Must be installed to prevent tip-overs." My son wrote a review on the AJ Madison website and the moderator wouldn't post it. There was no profanity, only the truth.

United States | 22 May 2021I placed an order for a brand new stove and fridge for almost 5 thousand dollars. My fridge took over a month to get here even though it was listed as quick ship. And it came damaged!! On top of that, I have been waiting for about 3 months for my stove to be shipped out and was promised I would recieve it as it was on the last production line. I found out today, I am not getting this stove. I asked for a full refund, and they said they did not have my money! I had to argue with them that they did, its on my bank statement. I also asked for an incentive since they have had my money for such a long period of time. And they are not giving me one. Do not go through ajmadison. You will get screwed over. You will have to wait a long time to get what ever it is you ordered. Your items will possibly come damaged, or you may not get your item at all.

When I ordered, customer service immediately contacted me to let me know both items were back-ordered and if I wanted to cancel. I said no, let me know when they arrive. I was contacted and delivery scheduled when each item arrived at the dock. Delivery service and tracking was excellent. Items were delivered in perfect condition. Price, service communication, and delivery all met my expectations. I will certainly purchase from this company again.

In the first attempt, the stove was crushed from both sides, and I am not sure how the delivery crew hasn't seen it before they attempt to take it out of the truck.. which resulted in waiting for an additional week to get it delivered. They offered a 25% discount for the damaged stove, but even if you would get it for free, you'd have to buy another one. And now the SCAM part - The CreditCard I used to purchase the appliances is the card I have not used in years. A month later, and someone somewhere (know the exact store and the amount) is trying to buy something with my credentials. Unacceptable! Please be aware of what info you are sharing with them. United States | 18 May 2021After ordering the dishwasher that was in stock back in February we finally have it up and running in the second half of May! Even though it was shipped promptly they (AM tracking - the shipper) managed to deliver undamaged one only on the third try. Each redelivery required repeated calls to AJ Madison customer service that requires long wait time. When undamaged dishwasher finally arrived, it came with a missing part that was needed for installation. It took of a week of phone calls to AJ Madison customer support averaging 2-3 hours waiting on hold as they couldn't figure out the proper part to be shipped to us. The part was a power cord that comes with a dishwasher! It was capped by the installation that finally happened today by AM Tracking which is contracted by AJ Madison. Installation guys left dishwasher sticking two inches out claiming that our standard cabinets are somehow of the wrong dimensions. Only for me to realized when they left that the installation guys did not notice loose piece of installation that prevented them from pushing the dishwasher fully in at its proper position.

Their delivery service is awful, they provide no progress and it sits in their delivery terminal for days or weeks before you get the next update. Awful customer service. I financed my dishwasher and will already be making the first monthly payment on it before the appliance ever arrives. I talked to 3 different reps and the first 2 did not seem like they even wanted to talk to me. I was willing to give it a bit of time with Covid and everything but 2 weeks to cross the country is a bit much. My father works in logistics and can easily navigate products to cross the US in less than a week. They were supposed ot call me to schedule delivery and they just appear to have forgotten and I missed the weekly delivery window. So now I am going to have to wait a week and a half because they only come to my area once a week.

After waiting on hold for 10 minutes, I was told it was discontinued. Going to buy from Amazon, where they don't charge the $80 to ship like AJ Madison, and actually know what they have in stock.

United States | 03 May 2021I bought worth 12k of appliance here way back July 2020 and the main thing we wanted is our Frigidaire column freezer/ref worth 6k. After we place our order they call us and ask us if it’s okay to wait 6-8 weeks, we said it’s okay since we doing big renovation in our house.We specifically custom made our kitchen/pantry for that Frigidaire. Then here comes end of September no call no email, I have to contact them thru phone call to follow up where my order at; then they’ll place you on hold for more than 60 mins most of the time and the most frustrating was while you’re on hold that long and wanted to talk to them they F cut your line. That happened maybe 5x, after that I email them but will take 72 hrs to respond. To make story short now it’s MAY 2021 we still dont have our product. They still using the “covid” as an F excuse. We are waiting 10 months now.. And the funny thing is they offering you to cancel your product after waited for very long time, that’s the frustrating part. We finish paying our credit card plus interest before we even have our product. I would never ever buy AJMADISON again.

United States | 29 April 2021I'm not sure why people who order from AJ have installers, install. Most of the problems here are from that. Just have them delivered and hire people to do it for you, like I'm doing. I had a gas plumber come in to prepare for the range and after it's delivered, I'll have the City come in to hook up to ensure that there are no gas leaks. The fridge is simple and so will the dishwasher be. Save yourself money and just have them drop off the appliance. Easy fix. Problem solved. I personally love AJ. They have great prices and awesome product to choose from. I'm not gonna ding them for an installer that I took a chance on. You have to know that they aren't part of AJ. They are contracted out by AJ. I give Madison five stars. Six actually.

United States | 22 April 2021Ordered a $16k Viking range. I had to supply the gas line, installers whom were hired by AJ told me I needed a longer gas line- left. Range not installed, been calling for over a week and a half- can’t get anybody to arrange for installers to come back out. Talked to sales representative who refered me to customer service who referred me to a concierge delivery person. Nothing- been 72 hours- have $16 k range that is not working-…and I paid an additional $75 for them to come out the second Time- can’t even get them to respond. Will be Going after them for then$75/and additional money I am having to pay an outside company to install.

Never supplying more information or calling me on what to do. The customer service is impossible to get a hold of but when I finally did the person on chat was incredibly rude refusing to help and threatening to cancel my order. I would never use their service again. Now I’m left with an 11k charge and no help.

United States | 29 March 2021My husband and I ordered a dishwasher. The installers banged and cracked the dishwasher on the first time attempted delivery. I refused delivery of the broken dishwasher - which they tried to get me to keep. A few days later they came with another dishwasher. The installers scratched the door in 2 places during the installation and left before I noticed the scratches. Within 10 minutes of the installers leaving my home, I contacted AJ Madison and asked them to remove the dishwasher and refund my money. They refused. They offered 25% discount which reluctantly I accepted. However, they never actually gave us the credit! On top of that, the installers kept removing their face masks in my home. I have not yet been vaccinated and do have a high-risk medical condition. DO NOT BUY FROM AJ MADISON!!
