after a long search i came across with this company and after find an electric range that I look for it, call them to see when I would get this range if i place order right away, and sale person (David Ettelson DO NOT TRUST HIM) which obviously looking to get the deal promised with in 5-7 business day I will get the range and after 14 days when I called(after 45 min. to 1 hour waiting on the line) could talk to some one which didn't have any answer and have to call again and again and finally talk to a lady that said will check with tracking company and call/email me back which she didn't (same attitude with other people in this company) the next day again call to David and he didn't have any answer for me and just just transferred me to another line which again waiting for more than 20 min. and finally talk to Brian(he said he is) and like others he didn't have any answer and lying about the lady that would going to contact with me for the tracking information and he kind of hang up on me(actually transferred me to David which went off completely) and now another day passed no news not easy to talk to any one. this is a horrible experience with a company and every one in this company try to scape from any answer. just remember if you want to prevent getting into such things highly recommend to go to a local store and get your appliances directly from them and do not even think about to buy any thing from them. Please give me a contact no. (direct number not the one have to wait more than 20 min. to hear prerecorded answering system) I will call you with any information that you need. Look they asked for more details to check the case and when I asked them to give me a direct number to call them with all those information, THEY DID NOT ANY RESPONSE SINCE THIS IS THE WAY THEY ARE WORKING, JUST TALKING AND DO NOT DO ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!! BE AWARE OF THESE GUYS

AJ Madison shipped a partial order, claimed everything was shipped and was unresponsive when we tried to find out what happened and locate the missing items. Multiple calls and emails with no response. Unbelievably poor customer service.

I ordered a dishwasher with heated dryer per their web page and free shipping. The price is $100 dollars more than the manufacturer's, but as i was having trouble finding a dealer with stock I figured it's supply and demand. When I received and installed it I realized that it was not drying the dishes very well. I called the manufacturer who told me that it only has a fan to help dry, not a heated dryer as stated on AJ Madisons website. Upon investigating i realized they had also charged me $99 for shipping. I called them and waited on hold for an hour only to be told that if i read the fine print the free shipping doesn't apply to rural areas. when I asked to have the website updated with the correct info she hung up on me. I tried to review it on their website and was taken to a page that does not exist. Update 02/16/2021 So i emailed AJ Madison as requested per this review and was told "this unit dry type may be heated" Not sure what that means. I checked the website it still states that it has a heated dry cycle and the review page for the item cannot be found. They did however offer to refund my shipping fee of $99. I will keep you informed if that happens. If so I would probably give 3 stars as that would make them better than most. We will see. Update 02/26/2021 I called today to inquire why i still have not recieved the refund and was told that they could not help me, but would email billing and myself. I never recieved an email, and their web page still falsely claims that this dishwasher has a heated dryer. Update 03/05/2021 I still have not received any money or even acknowledgement for their fraud and thievery.. Buyers beware, this company is very dishonest. I am stuck with a $1500 dishwasher that I never ordered and never wanted. If thats what you want order from AJ Madison.

Their shipping company cut into the waterline of our refrigerator causing a slow leak over time, when we started to notice our floors buckling. They directed us to AM Trucking to file a claim. The guy that handles claims, Moshe, denies all claims that come to him because it’s not on video or any other ridiculous response. AJ Madison hired the company. They need to hold them accountable or take responsibility. Help me!! I’ve kept you informed through the whole process and you have assured me it will be handled and it has not. I want my property damage paid for.

There customer service is the worst. I order items off the site two of the items were put on back order as soon as I ordered them. They offered other products are are inferior to the products we ordered. When calling them as their email said to do about the order no one answers. Their chat response is non existent. The only thing on their voice mail is there not open at this time. Total joke of a company.

Horrendous company. Irresponsible and deceiving. They lie about the price, delivery estimate and capability. Once you ask for a refund, they want to charge 30% “restock price”. Thieves, should be out of business

Terrible customer service: reps will lie to you, deny there is a problem or just tell you what you want to hear but do nothing about it. I don't know what has happened to this company. All of my previous orders were executed without problem, now every step is a nightmare. Caveat emptor!

December Update: My last review was October 20. After my review, someone in customer service emailed me that my unit would be shipping in November or December and to await delivery confirmation. Its December 14. I wrote in as I haven't heard from anyone. Email response now says February. No apology. No effort at accommodation- nothing. I asked about trying for another unit- which would have been nice if they offered. They tell me they can but I will be put in the back of the line. There is ZERO accountability and they do absolutely nothing to be proactive.

I ordered and a few months later cancelled an order for a refrigerator. What I thought was a good deal turned out to be a nightmare. Upon placing the order, I received absolutely zero order confirmation emails. After waiting a few weeks, I contacted them for an order status. I was informed (after waiting on hold for an hour) that my refrigerator was back ordered and a month out. After that month had past and still with no confirmation or status emails, I called again. After another hour wait on hold, I was informed I'd have to wait another month. A few weeks later, I decided to email them to see if that was a more efficient means of communicating. When they replied a few days later, I was told I now needed to wait 2 more months. T This company is a drop-ship company meaning they have very little on hand and must rely on the manufacturers or distributors for their inventory. Ultimately, I went with US Appliance and my refrigerator arrives tomorrow after placing the order a week ago. Thanks US Appliance and a special thank you to AJ Madison... one less company I will ever do business with.

Truly horrible customer service. Bought nearly $10,000 worth of appliances. Solomon told me that he would "throw in the griddle on the Fulgor Milano stove." Never received it. Ordered in April 2020. Stove delivered in June 2020 (late). No griddle. Ever. Have sent multiple emails to Solomon asking for the griddle. Ignored. Now I'm on hold trying (again) to speak with someone. Wish I had never purchased from them. Try another company!

If I was able to give this company a ZERO star rating, I would! Placed an order, received an email stating "thank you for your recent purchase". No order number, no time for delivery...nothing else was stated on the email. I waited four business days before trying to reach them. After the extended hold for almost 45 minutes, I finally reached someone. I told her my issue, and she told me my order had not been processed or shipped, and she transferred me to the billing department. Again, after an extended hold, I reached the most incompetent, inconsiderate, and unfriendliest billing associate ever, FREDA. As soon as she answered, she received a call and placed me right on hold...again. When she returned, I told her my issue, and she told me she would have to contact me on my cell phone to verify my order. After receiving her call back, she rattled off my shipping address, and said my order would be ship and went hang up, when I stopped her and asked why was I not notified or giving an order number, etc... needless to say, she over talked me and was extremely rude...then had the audacity to blame her lack of professionalism on COVID-19. After that, I asked her to transfer me to a manager/supervisor. I was placed again on an extended hold. I called back three times and each time was placed on an extended hold. I never was prompted to leave a message, nothing. So, I walk away still not knowing what my order number is, or when my order is expected to be delivered. Never, ever using this company again, and just a note to this company...COVID-19 is NOT an excuse to lack common courtesy or professionalism. If it makes your employees act in this manner, you really should consider shutting down!

"Purchased" a washer/dryer combo from AJ Madison in early October because they had the best expected delivery date by a few weeks. Figured they might have had a better route to fulfill orders than some of the other retailers. Since then, delivery has been pushed twice and is now over 6 weeks behind their original estimate. Worst part is, zero notification and/or apologies for the delay. In fact, we had to wait on hold just to be hung up on after 30 mins of waiting. Other routes of communication have provided no help. Wish we would've gone with a different retailer that took more pride in customer service and kept us informed of our order.

UPDATE TO PREVIOUS REVIEW: So - they replied to my review a couple of days ago and wanted my order # to help make things right. So I took a screen shot and sent it to their customer service email Bc there wasn't an option on trust pilot to reply. This was their reply: "We offered two options, I am sorry they aren't suitable for you. I apologize that you were misinformed, but the option of switching the out of stock options to in stock is still on the table if you wish to proceed. Best, Kristine " The two options they gave me were to either ship what appliances were available immediately (our house won't be ready until January - which was previously discussed with our sales associate and he told us wouldn't be a problem when ordering) or pick out new appliances from what they have available (none of which are as nice as what we picked). There's 0 reason why I should have to settle based on a huge mistake of one of their employees. So while it was nice of them to reply to my previous review and give the appearance of wanting to "make it right", it turns out this is just a very bad company and I'm extremely regretful we were tricked into ordering from them and are in this mess now. As I stated before: ORDER FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE AND SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE. It's not worth it.

We ordered a Fridgidaire Gallery appliance bundle for our new kitchen remodel from AJ Madison. Upon delivery in June, the refrigerator doors were extremely uneven, back of appliance is permanently stained with fire retardent, and the top shelf freezes. We called immediately, but could not get a hold of anyone in customer service. We have been trying to get ahold of this company since June but are always put on hold for hours only to be disconnected. In our dispair, we attempted to get the appliance fixed. Four repairmen attempted to fix the refrigerator. We are told the refrigerator had been dropped somtime during the process and the refridgerator is skewed and unable to be fixed. They even attempted to order and put in new doors but that did not fix the problem. Now the doors are even worse aligned and open periodically. A brand new refrigerator should not need new doors and four repairmen to attempt to fix it. This company does not stand by their product.

Placed and paid for my order on Oct. 2nd. I was given an October ship date that came and went. They changed the ship date to Nov. 18. Now the ship date has been moved to Nov. 26. No contact from the company. I was able to get through on the phone after three hours on hold. They told me that one of my items was in stock and they would ship it. Never happened. I have tried many times to call the company. They leave you on hold for thirty minutes then drop the call. I wish I had seen these reviews before I placed my order. I don't see how these people stay in business. I guess they have large quantity buyers that they actually service. order # 125426075 They reply to this review though they don't reply to phone or e-mail.

This is the ABSOLUTE worst company. If you are considering purchasing from AJMadison please look elsewhere. Their customer service is inexistent.We have been waiting for 10 weeks for a dishwasher, paid in full, call several times (each time is at least 1hr wait to reach a representative that cannot help you or verbalize on a respectful way - TERRIBLE!)) Finally, on the day of the delivery the driver (apparently a third company) call me and was extremely rude, saying that he was taking the appliance away because he couldn't access the building before 9am. (it was 8:45am..) It was clearly specified on the invoice and certificate insurance (which I've paid for) that building rules are 9am - 3pm) . We've purchase high end appliances from many places before but AJMadison will NEVER regain our trust and respect.

1st time customer. Ordered a "in stock" Freezer in September. 2 weeks goes by nothing. I have no clue why they even have a Live Chat function as you can never find anyone available. Finally after 3 days of trying I get a rep on the line. Freezer NOT in stock no clue when it will ever be. CANCELLED ORDER. Figured maybe a glitch. This time I order a dishwasher in stock. Nothing after 2 weeks. Called again. After hours of waiting finally told it is NOT in stock 12 weeks lead time. So they offer me a swap of 1 that IS in stock. Different brand. 3 days later see the shipping. It never arrives within the week. Guess the 'Guaranteed" 4 day shipping is useless. It arrives in Iowa somewhere. I am in Illinois. It is sitting in a warehouse 10 days later and has been sitting for a week. Oh, it hit the delivery terminal alright. Just sitting. No calls. no emails, nothing. Says to call them in NY. Of course, no reps working Saturdays. Have to wait until Monday and yet again take hours of my time trying to track a rep on a work day and hopefully get through. So the days you may actually HAVE more time to track these clowns down, they are closed. The reps seem great on the phone but trying to get one is the worse experience of my life. I will get this worked out 1 way or another, but who is paying for MY time! No AJM. I not sure if this outfit is a family owned business but they need to fire some nephews and siblings if this is the best they can do. Do NOT be fooled by 'free' shipping. Especially when it ends up in a different state 6 days after it is supposed to installed in my kitchen. I will NEVER order from these clowns again and I will be slapping reviews up all over the Internet and social media to make sure other decent hard working people don't get stiffed like this.

Would rate 0 stars if I could. Ordered a range, they don’t give an expected ship date, two weeks later order is still “processing” in online dashboard. Call 2 days in a row and stay on hold for 2 hours each day and never get a person. Use the Live Chat feature on their website and get Eli the sales guy who tells me chat is just sales, I need to call customer service. Finally got a response from sending all this via email. Cancelled the order. Last time I see AJMadison.
