I was looking online for type 2 hoods and found Hoodmart. Their prices were affordable and their website was very informative. After calling them, I dealt with Tammy in customer service who was excellent. She helped me with all my questions and was 100% on top of my order. From start to finish, they are only a phone call away. I have already referred others! Very happy with the quality of their work and their service!

My experiences with Hood mart have been pretty good, congratulations. Just a small suggestion, the lady who took my order could be a little nicer. I recommend it, serious and professional people!

We placed an order and immediately sent our full payment (March 1, 2023 to be exact). In the process of our purchase order, we were almost scammed by someone pretending to be our contact from HOODMART/NAKS who gained access to our email thread and had an email address similar to the representative that differed only by one letter, making it difficult to detect. This scammer sent us a sudden change to the bank details having similar format and all. Fortunately, our bank notified us of our wire transfer request and promptly cancelled it. I reported this to HOODMART/NAKS, concerned about what might happen, but we received no report or assurance regarding our payment and order. Also, we have yet to receive any shipping details for our order, and our numerous follow-ups have yielded no useful results. They committed to ship our order within the week when we sent our full payment. We paid in full almost a month ago, but the materials did not appear to ship until now. What exactly is going on? This has been holding a lot of our activities in our project site.

The ventless hood is a good product however as a small business owner I feel the price for the replacement charcoal filters is way over priced, $240 for a throw away filter that has to be replaced every couple months is unreasonable given the price you pay for the unit itself.

Intended to order standard sized ductwork and roof curb for a modified install, was going to cut it to size myself. They made everything right to my specs for the same cost!
