United States | 13 December 2022I would have given a better review, but our restaurant dealer rep, Ed - did not disclose the optional equipment that came with our hood which we actually needed. We subsequently failed the hood inspection because of the missing equipment - which delayed our opening which costs us money. And on top of that, we are being charged to have the part shipped, and we are being charged for the next inspection which would have been avoided if our dealer rep disclosed the proper information to us and we could have had the part that we needed in order to pass. So - this should not have happened as the dealer rep should have known about the optional equipment possibly needed. Deb was very helpful in getting us the right part needed and shipped to us in a timely manner.

United States | 09 December 2022Their reps are always friendly and looking out for your best interest and want to make sure they sell you what you need. As an added note I bought a hood off them when we first opened in 2009. (works very well, to this day. only had to change a belt after 12 years and finally updating our grease filters to stainless) We gad issues with the company that installed the unit, said "hoodmarts heated intake never works always over heat". After 13 years I finally called up and they were able to direct me to who I needed to talk to. The manufacturer was able to get me to a service guy who walked me through how to fix it which was actually really easy and feel bad for all the other customers that the installer had lied to. (Basically he never adjusted the flame, and gas in port)

United States | 01 December 2022If I can give no stars I definitely would. Bought this hood for almost $20,000. Told them I needed everything with it and still end up having spend another $5,000 to get the ductwork because the guy did not listen to what I said and then we receive it and I am trying to get my restaurant up and going and the welds on there are so thin that the weld's busted they grind it so thin. Not to mention all the dents that was in it and I have plenty of pictures that I more than glad to post with that. I mean it's like there was no quality and control at all in the packaging and shipping of this product. The company finally said that they would only give me back 1360.00 which is what it cost me to have it repaired from the damage they done but nothing for the cosmetic. I mean you know you could do a little bit better First of all it has not been 2 weeks. My emails say 7 days from the time that Anna got involved and 1360 was for the repairs. The rest was for cosmetic damages and keep in mind this was for not one hood but two a total of 14 ft I mean are you proud to have something like that with your name all over it? And second of all you knew that I was in the process of building out and you knew that it would not be put up when I got it. And yes you offered to send it out but you cannot next date air. It guarantee that I get it so that way they could put it up and I could open up on time that was never offered. So please don't get on here and lie just to make yourself sound good. Oh not to mention the reason that I wrote this review is because I can't get anyone to give me a number to actually talk to you guys. Everybody says that they have to take it to you and you guys don't return phone calls and I've read several of the reviews were saying customer service is horrible. So you say call you immediately and this will be handled. I've called Anna said she walked it directly to you. So someone's lying here. Either you or her!! So yes we asked for a total of $4,000 1360 of that being repairs and 2640 of that being in cosmetic damages for two hoods not just one. You're not telling people that.
