Received my new water softener within a couple of days of my order. Fitting was quite straightforward, as was the setup. It’s early days, but all appears good so far. Included in the package is an envelope for geeks only. This gives additional info about the settings. Fine to include it, but make it easy to understand. I guarantee all who buy will not be able to resist reading.

Had problems with my Waterside. Rang around, 1st wanted £185 2nd said £75 callout and spares non-existent. Mmm. He said it's ok as he carries new machine in van (only £600) just in case. Surfed around and found Softenergeeks, rang and queried but got straight answers and good advice so ordered, arrived next day fitted and softening so Happy Days.

Delivery and help with questions I had were very good . Softener has been in a couple of weeks now and all seems fine. One problem I had was that the hoses supplied with the unit were not flexible enough as I was fitting into a 78cm high x 38cm wide x 58cm deep unit with the hose connections behind it, so had to replace with white flexible hoses. More flexible braid hoses would be better supplied with the unit.

My old kinetico water filter give up after 15 years, tried to get a similar repalcement such as a Harvey, but impossible company to deal with, they refused to give a price for a unit, wanted to qoute thousands for a unit plus fitting. Fortunatly found Softenergeeks and purchased the super compact. Delivered next day by UPS, well packed. Slightly more difficult to fit in the 300mm wide cupboard because the fittings are on the back, but up and running in less than a hour. One third of the price of the replacement Harveys or Kinetico. So far excellent service and excellent very competitivly priced product.

Easy installation, great bypass kit (additional extra), good instructions and a massive difference to our water supply now. Would 100% recommend this to anyone.
