Yes there’s issues with missing parts, or some items missing altogether - up to 10%. It’s clearly explained so stop moaning. What it doesn’t tell you is the amounts they’re taking in overpayment - and you can’t spot. It - check all bidding histories then at least you’ll have a legit complaint and an invite to join proceedings and your money reclaimed

Customer service is terrible. I complained about an issue with the items I received as they were missing crucial components for the functionality of the item but they decided to "escalate" this issue and ignored me afterwards. On top of that they auto close issues and send you an email and ask for your rating without even resolving anything.

Bought a lot of six items only two arrived I got on to theire bot as this the only way you can contact them made a claim for missing items and they come back with policy states may have missing parts or broken I had 6 items and recived 2 that’s blatant fraud I will be speaking to solicitor and taking necessary steps to recover money defrauded out of if this is a way they treat loyal costumers lately it’s been all Chinese knockoff will be deleting my account as soon as I write this please avoid spend ur money elsewhere

It seems that many negative reviews for Jobalots come from people unfamiliar with how this auction site works. I primarily purchase pallets, selling on most of the items I receive. Across my last 50 pallets, I’ve achieved an average return on investment of 98.2%. Some pallets have been outstanding, delivering up to 472% ROI, while others have dipped as low as -79% ROI. However, the risks are clearly outlined by Jobalots, and of those 50 pallets, 43 have been profitable. Six still have plenty of items left to sell, with just one being a genuine letdown. Buying returns, liquidated stock, and overstock is inherently a gamble. If you carefully read the terms, you’ll understand what you’re signing up for. Individual items can be a bigger risk, but pallets have consistently delivered solid results when I bid smartly. Only once was a pallet missing significant items, and Jobalots quickly refunded me. Delivery has generally been prompt, and the company they partner with, H&M Distribution, has been excellent. Overall, I’m really pleased with Jobalots. It’s enabled me to build a self-employed setup that I thoroughly enjoy.

PLEASE NOTE: FINALLY RECEIVED BIDDING HISTORY GOING BACK TO NOVEMBER LAST YEAR (DESPITE CALLS FOR FULL HISTORY!?!) THE END RESULT IS OVER £840 IN DUPPLICATE BID CHARGES MADE JUST TO MY ACCOUNT - WHEN ARE YOU PEOPLE GOING TO WAKE UP! READ YOUR BIDDING HISTORIES!!!!! Here's why: So I was a long-term, loyal, customer of Jobalots until very recently. I have nothing to say about the products or conditions, as this is all clearly explained prior to signing up. What I do have an issue with, however, is the fact that their bidding system allows for multiple bids from the same person. I have hundreds of screenshots of where this has happened. Jobalots has a responsibility to its customers to ensure safeguards are in place to stop Jobalots from collecting monies above and beyond what the customer wants to spend. So I contacted them directly to make them aware, and what was their response to me? To ban me from the site and block my email to stop me from informing others on their forums - something I encourage any and everybody to do who has an account with them. As I've stated, is real, it's happened, and it continues to happen. This week has seen the summoning of Mr. Jack Lear (CEO of Jobalots) to court to give a defence of this in public. This will be some time from now, but will have to happen; he has refused to supply a full and readable (though retracted) bidding history, which would enable me to work out not only how much they have taken above and beyond from me, but also others out there. Jobalots initially responded by saying that they don't have access to them after their recent site changes, then cited privacy concerns. Well, Im taking them to court and I can assure you beyond doubt that if you have been a long-term customer of Jobalots, then they've had their 'hand in your other pocket' for some time. It happens so frequently that I guarantee you you have fallen victim to this also, and you will be entitled to get your money back. Please note the lack of a response from job slots - speaks volumes! And matey with the review about the returns that can be made from purchasing there should perhaps check his own bidding histories before giving them such a positive

Urgent Complaint – Missing Items Dear Jobalots.com, I placed an order on March 17 with priority shipping, yet my package did not arrive until March 26—later than standard delivery. Upon opening the package, I was disappointed to find that several projectors were missing. After reaching out to Jobalots Support, they confirmed in writing that there was a stock error and that these projectors were never actually available. However, I was never informed of this, even though my payment was accepted in full. I only became aware of the issue when I received a half-empty package. Selling out-of-stock products without notifying customers is misleading and may violate consumer protection laws. I kindly request an immediate resolution to this matter. Best regards,

Placed 2 orders, 1st 15/3/25 2nd 16/3/25, I paid for priority shipping and my items have still not been dispatched for either order, keep getting told they are waiting for the tracking numbers with yodel, it’s now the 22/3/25 and now customer service are just not replying to my emails, I’ve purchased hundreds and hundreds from them, since they had their old website etc, really gone downhill lately! 21/3/25 STILL WAITING for my 3 PRIORITY orders to even be dispatched! Received an email today from Alodia in jobalots “customer service’’ asking to confirm my address is ALEEA CRISANEI Nr 14, Cartier Miorita Combinat Brasov, Fagaras RO 505200. No this is not my name or address, this address isn’t even in the UK, it’s in HUNGARY!! looked at my addresses on my jobalots account to confirm my address is actually where I live, “Which it is mind’’ This is just getting out of control now with this website, I actually think it has become too much for them to handle, maybe their success is going to be their downfall! I WANT MY ORDERS JOBALOTS! Or I’ll be going through trading standards like a few other reviewers on here also!!

Was almost put off by the negative reviews however I’m reviewing on my own experience. Fast prompt customer service replies order came in under a week all items as described ok one set of led light had no connection power supply and no plug for something else but had spares and everything worked perfectly you need to give this company a chance on your own experience as you can be put off by the reviews but just have fun with it and don’t expect everything to be brand new and you will enjoy buying from here I’m looking forward to continuing my business with jobalots.

Also do not buy any phone screens from them. May sound obvious with the nature of the business that phone screens can arrive broken so anyone buying them should expect some to arrive faulty... but not every single one. Every single phone screen they have sent is broken. Also, my last 3 orders had other electronics on them all had something wrong with them. Don't buy electrictronics from them.

Have been shopping with them for a little over 6 months. There’s been a lot of changes over the past few months such the new website, which was absolutely chaotic to use. And I’m glad they have actually listened and slowing improving it, it’s not perfect and no where near. But the good thing is they are listening and improving, which is rare for a lot of bigger companies. Pros to their service team for always solving my issues.

Terrible service. Beware as 90% of the pallet will be unusable and you'll be lucky to make a profit. Despicable buck passing customer services and you'll wait six to eight weeks for a refund if there is an issue. They just buck pass hoping you'll go away Order no 100662

Strange company, Had a random email from them as a reminder about some rules they have, (sounded like a bollocking?) and called me Alex, that isn't my first name. I replied saying my name wasn't Alex, they replied by calling me Kelly and said it was a generated email with the managers name at the bottom, I sent a reply asking if they are aware they're including other peoples personal details in these emails? as I noticed the reason they called me Kelly was because they thought they were replying to her, who they also had called another random name (her full name & email at the bottom of my email) No reply. Sounds like a legit well organised company? :)

I have 5 orders that are still outstanding that haven't been delivered yet. I have been waiting more than 2 weeks so far but no sign of them, no tracking details and the status on your website says the orders have 'completed'?. no one will tell me if and when I will receive them. It's quite worrying as you havent acted like this in the 3 years ive bought from you. Please send the 5 outstanding orders as I have money tied up in them. Scammers They sell faulty items that cannot be fixed but do not state it anywhere on the listing I am stuck with something that I now have to throw away. I will be seeking advice from the trading standards committee obviously but beware and do not buy from them. I made the mistake of not checking the reviews here, they never lie!

I placed on a bid on an auction and although I was the only bidder the bid jumped up to my max bid - £75 more than the item should have been. I paid the fee in line woth their terms and conditions and I emailed them immediately to rectify the refund of the £75. I'm now 18 days past this date and I'm being completely ignored - getting the same response from the customer service team that someone is gping to look at it. 18 days and not one person w9th any authority to fix it have. I have never experienced worse customer service. So I'm £75 out of pocket that they are point black refusing to even reply to emails about. I've spent over 100k on items with this company and this is how little they think of their customers. Absolute shambles. Do not part with your money Buy items at your own peril

I have been purchasing items from jobalots for the past 2 years and am totally dismayed by the response from customer services. Let me explain about the products purchased. Freestyle libre 2 are a device that diabetics use to monitor glucose levels in the blood they are attached to the body via a small needle built into the device. These are a medical item and in the box you get 2 items each with a lifespan of 14 days each they are registered with an app on phone which when activated monitors blood sugar levels. After the 15 day period they are rendered useless. I sent pictures of all the boxes purchased and everyone had been used and as its classed as sharps needles should have been disposed of after use, These items have clearly been sent by the vendor knowing that the items was of no value and potentially a health hazard risk with the needles and items being used. What a load of rubbish! First time using and will be the last. Got a ceramic teapot and couldn't believe the condition it was in when it arrived. A huge chip in the top and the chip was in the box so its happened during transit due to their terrible packaging! The tea pot had been broken in half and glued back together, there was glue all over the teapot. They didn't even try to disguise that it had been glued together and it was a terrible job. Still waiting for another two items so no doubt I'll be back here when they arrive!! UPDATE- So my other two items arrived, one was okay and the other item was perfect! So i was going to leave a five star review till I saw your reply. You have blatantly lied in your answer. There was no where in your description saying the pot had been broken and glued back together I've read the manifest carefully this morning and you have not mentioned anything about damage. The item should never have been resold or at least the damage described. Hopefully I can delete my account and never use this company again. I advise all other to do the same!!
