The new website is definitely more customer friendly but there have been issues with it. It has been launched less than months ago,so I hope that it is just a transitional period. The issues I had have been resolved to my satisfaction and I will continue buying on this platform. Thanks.

On the whole I love this site and am a regular spender buying new and return pallets. As someone said, only bid what you could afford to lose. Had lots of really good bargains. Some boxes of rubbish in the bigger lots, but then charities receive items for free. Personaly find their customer service very good no complaints there. However, the new website is horrid. Half the time it does not load. Mobile devices hate it and dont seem compatible so I use my laptop. The design was far better before in my opinon and much easier to navigate. I will continue to use them and overall its a geat company. Buyers just need to research before buying and not complain when returns are not new.

I do like this website a lot, and every person I talked to is lovely and helpful but…. The old ‘design’ of this website had many flows BUT I was still able to shop. Now I literally can’t. Not for days, for weeks! Not sure if it’s technical fault or servers can’t handle a little crowd, but it’s a nightmare that does not seem to improve, if anything it’s getting worse. Proxy bids were removed; I can live with that. But when I browse and tap on item, wanting to bid, page will open and say “something went wrong, reload page” and bidding is not possible. Cannot bid from main website either, so I am not able to shop. Late afternoons and evenings are the worst. I’ll be happy to remove this 1 star review, moment I will be able to shop again because when site works, it’s great experience

Absolutely awful I’ve been buying from them for quite some time and was in the highest category spend monthly since the new system is coming into place. I’ve only just been able to get on and now I’ve won a few things today but the Paige just isn’t loading you would’ve thought they would’ve saved their version, of the Ol platform to use in case of problems this one is absolutely horrendous. Bye-bye job a lot you hav lost a customer that spends a lot of money. In excess of 4k per month !! Customer service wasn’t of much help either when I couldn’t get back on the new system just getting repetitive emails asking for further information and blaming my email provider shocked to say the least that they can just lose customers with care

Received 26 emails about non payment and my account is blocked again. This company is a joke. They have serious it issues and blame the system when we all know garbage in garbage out. I received emails saying all sorted and 24 hours later same thing and I loose my order.

The new website is just utter trash. Right now I can't log-in, can't bid, can't favourite anything. Any item from the search results won't load. Not to mention such simple things they've done away with; Auction end time! You can't even see what time it ends anymore, you have to calculate based on time remaining. Why? Previously the auction amount was in green (if you were winning) or red (if losing), but now they've completely done away with that as well, with a stupid little winning/losing sign. Why? And they've also gotten rid of automatic bidding because their useless development team can't seem to programme their website to do what ebay was doing 20 years ago. This is a perfect example of how to absolutely tank a company with a website change. They must be losing so much money right now from people not being able to bid. Disaster.

The new website is the really bad, half the time you can’t log in and when you do it’s so slow. I know some things are customer returns but half the stuff should not even classed as customer returns but scarp, surely you must check the stuff

Customer support? Not here. I have been using Jobalots for over a year. I previously shared the website with people, warming them about the risks. But lately it is not worth it. I did an order over 14 days ago, paid £223 and received nothing. After a week, someone from their "dedicated team" tells me that my order was delivered and sent me someone random address and order photo of the doorways. 14 days later, I still waiting for the dedicated team and they haven't refund me for the order they messed up. On my previous order, I bought a pallet, in their terms and conditions they specified that 10% of the items can be missing. But I contacted them as 2 out of the 25 items were missing, conveniently 2 items which value was on the top 3 of the pallet. On top of that, they have now couple up with currys, and so far, I bought 1 pallet and 1 item and I got a pallet full of rubbish an a broken grinder. When everything goes smoothly, the website in general is not great, but not bad neither, but if something goes wrong with your order, you are left alone without any kind of support and waiting for them to answer you whenever they can/ want. Again, over 14 days later and they still have my money and I haven't got a refund. I don't even know if that is legal.

The new site is massive downgrade from the original it now near unusable, its dead again right now, pre bids had to be disabled as it couldn't cope. Also echo avoid curry returns these are not raw returns they've been picked clean of anything of value and the items are even still marked with there internal fault labels etc.

You website goes down most of yesterday. I cant check out or anything. Wake up to find you have blocked my account for NON payment. Received emails to say you had technical difficulties. Been with you for ages and ALWAY PAID ON TIME. You have my payment card on file as always and took one payment yesterday for ONE item but not the rest. Support NOT getting back to me. Really disappointed you would treat me this way.

I have bought some good things from Jobalots but also had some problems with purchases. One time I bought a router it was supposed to come with a box of cutters but when it arrived the cutters were missing I made my bid based on the cutters at least making the purchase viable if the router was faulty which turned out to be the case. I complained but was told that in the T&Cs it mentions that parts etc may be missing and my claim cannot be upheld. My last experience has not been responded to I have sent three emails without reply I bid on a set of darts valued at £116 but received a completely different set valued at less than half that amount so I ended up paying more for the darts I received than buying them new. It's been my experience that it's a complete gamble as to what you will receive you may get the item as described or you may get something completely different, it's a bit like bidding on a Rolex but receiving a Timex. Don't expect to much it's all covered in their T&Cs.

Absolute disaster! If you have an issue with these guys don’t expect any help! Very quick to respond with comments to bad reviews but their customer services department is utterly useless! They sent me invoices for delivery fees that they should have applied and I have tried to pay them over and over again but the links they’ve included don’t work - wont let me log in and their admin people have blocked my account. I have emailed, without exaggeration 12 times and rec’d no help. It took them 8 days to accept that my account has been blocked by admin. They have £5K of my money for deliveries that haven’t shipped because the account is blocked and no one at Jobalots wants to help. I’ve tried everything in a bid to get someone to help me! I need to report to HMRC and I have a £5K hole in my cashflow. Send a request for help and get a generic, useless response 72 hours later, respond to useless email and wait 72 hours for another useless response that does nothing to solve problem.

This company is an absolute nightmare. I ordered a job lot worth thousands, and they only delivered part of it. After weeks of endless back-and-forth emails, they still refuse to issue a full refund for the incomplete order, instead giving me nonsense excuses and asking me to do the impossible by listing every missing item from a massive order. They have the most incompetent and unhelpful customer service I’ve ever dealt with. They keep stalling, avoiding responsibility, and sending empty replies with zero intention of fixing the issue. I’ve spent nearly £10,000 here, but they clearly don’t care about customer loyalty or basic decency. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this company. They’re dishonest, disorganized, and utterly disrespectful. There are far better, more trustworthy options out there.

If you do enough business with a supplier there will be issues. How these issues are resolved is critical to good customer service. There is nothing close to good customer service going on at Jobalots! At first I was extremely impressed. We had issues and they were resolved quickly and efficiently. Most recently - last 3-4 weeks their service has been absolutely appalling. The absence of a phone line is tragic; If you guys really want to improve, start actually processing issues, ask your people to read customer complaints and emails and consider things objectively. Commit to SLA's - a week would be a long time but at least there'd be hope. At the present time my issues have been going on for weeks and weeks and there is no light at the end of the tunnel. I know they’ve had issues with integration of a new web portal and I don’t know of a business that hasn't endured nightmares as a result of the change, however allowing staff to sit on their hands, syphoning customer complaints and issues into a meaningless vacuum is a terrible strategy. At the present time, I have no idea when my numerous issues will be resolved and not knowing what’s going on, when issues will be evaluated and processed is frustrating and enormously irritating. Someone in authority at Jobalot’s need’s to take the bull by the horns and commit to and urgently implement a functioning, effective process to deal with customer queries and issues.

Yesterday I bought 2 pallets , i paid one with no problems, but the second payment of 142,80 that i have made was showing me an error but the money has been taken from my bank account! I am trying to get in touch with them from 36 hours nobody replies! I have sent all the proofs bank statement, and a picture of the error! They don’t even bother to reply to my emails! Seems like a scam to me! They don’t have phone number to contact and on the emails they don’t reply back ! What is funny that the pallet disappeared from the “cart” but i already paid for it! I don’t even know what to do because they don’t get in touch with me! Quick update, i got the refund from them but the customer service of them is really really poor!
