France | 07 May 2024Ordered for the first time and they cancelled part of my order that weighted 15kg. They refunded my bid but not the VAT or the shipping cost (15kg of shipping costs about 30e with tax+ 5e of VAT). Contacted the customer support and they basically told me "Tough S***" and stopped responding Absolutely disgraceful

United Kingdom | 01 May 2024If it wasn't for the courier, Yodel, this would be a 5 star rating. Yodel are absolutely awful and jobalots used to be much better without them, especially with the cost of shipping.

United Kingdom | 25 April 2024Like some other users reported, if you ever plan to have a large consignment with multiple items that you bid and won, be AWARE. I had two orders now with the first one only missing 2 items and after receive their standard response "it must be you" not us, i just left it and could not be bothered. Well, well, I had another large order last week and this time around, i was missing 15 items such as a large stepping ladder, camping trolley, etc, Again, I reached out and received the same templated response and after 4 days of chasing, I was told to fill out a form! I am just trying to understand where I go to take this further as the company is either doing this knowingly and profiting from re-selling the items which the TAX man will not like, or they have staff that likes to skim from the customers as they know a complaint will only go this far. I need to find out if their partners would be happy to be part of a company that operates this way as I assume Amazon has some kind of Operating agreement with Jobslot My advice to all, do not have larger orders as you will not be happy with missing items. But to be fair, when they get it right, its all good but for large orders.....they definitely have a problem that needs sorting. Thus giving them the extra star hoping they get their act in place and will consider changing my rating if they mature more as a company.

United Kingdom | 21 April 2024I have been using Jobalots for a few months now and can say that as long as I am careful in what I buy there are no issues. I have only bought 1 'customer returns' lot so far and the items were perfect (400% profit) New item lots are very good (although sometimes the picture does not match your purchase (only in colour)). Always read the desciptions to avoid these issues. Shipping can be a bit pricey, but I have learnt to buy upto the weight limit (i.e. If your chosen lot weighs in at 3kg you will be paying for shipping upto 10kg - you can keep buying in effect shipping free upto that limit, as long as you pay for everything in one go) Despatch can sometimes take 2 or 3 days - I suppose it depends on how many lots etc - once despatched delivery is usually 24/48 hours. All in all I really like using Jobalots - just pic and choose your items carefully

Romania | 17 April 2024Overall, the experience is good. I got new products but also none/missing/defective products. It's all about luck. If you want to do a "test" order, then, on your first order buy items of at least 20euro (not including shipping and taxes), enter this code: FRIEND-MRS67HX at checkout and you will get a 25euro discount (basicaly you only pay shipping)

Denmark | 16 April 2024Do not buy from here.. after spending several hours researching different lots, bidding on them and winning them .. I was going to pay .. however their payment system was down. So I contacted jobalots support right away. They couldn't see any problems and asked me to try again . When going back in all my winning listings is now gone ?! The support says the system automatically deletes your winning bids if not paid before 23.59 same day .. as it wasn't possible due to fault at their site I thought no worries, they would off course fix it.. but no no .. tough luck, items are gone.. waste of time !

Netherlands | 07 April 2024UPDATE: THEY RESPOND UNDER BAD REVIEWS AND ASK IF YOU COULD CONTACT THEM, BUT THEY WILL NOT RESPOND ON YOUR EMAIL AND WILL NOT DO ANY SEARCH INTO THE ISSUE! YOU ARE WARNED. Please read before buying on Jobalots! As a long-time customer who has spent over 1250+ euros across numerous orders on Jobalots, I've never had a bad experience until now. While I understand that purchasing customer returns comes with its risks, I've always been willing to accept broken items as part of the process. However, my recent experience has left me extremely disappointed. I ordered two resin bottles, expecting some variability due to their customer return nature. Yet, I was shocked to find that around 95% of the entire resin was missing from both bottles. In one bottle, almost 99% of the content was absent, meaning I bought 1000 grams of resin but received around 10 grams. When I raised a refund request, I was denied on the grounds that the product inside the bottle was "lessened" but not completely empty. According to Jobalots, if the product had been 100% empty, I would have been eligible for a refund since then the "main item" would be missing. This arbitrary distinction is unacceptable. I recall a previous incident where I received a 3kg filament roll with no filament left on it. Upon raising a refund request, Jobalots promptly processed it within a day. It's bewildering how the same company can handle similar situations so differently. I am deeply disappointed in Jobalots and urge everyone to think twice before making a purchase. Buying liquid products might result in receiving only 1% of what you paid for. Even purchasing a pack of 100 t-shirts could mean receiving only 1 shirt and being denied a refund since you did receive the pack but it's "lessened." It's an unacceptable level of risk for consumers. In conclusion, I expected better customer service and fairness from Jobalots. This experience has left me questioning whether I'll ever purchase from them again. Think twice before buying from eu.jobalots!

United Kingdom | 26 March 2024Do not be fooled or blinkered by the RRP listed on the Jobalots website: always do your own research. Be aware that the photos used for raw returns are for “illustration only”: the photo's are stock pictures taken from the original online seller websites and most often bear no resemblance to the actual condition of the raw return and does not give customers enough information to make an informed purchase. Is it legal to use photographs of brand-new items listed on other websites for sale in pristine condition when you are referring to raw return items? Quite often, in my opinion, these raw returns would be rejected by a jumble sale and would not be acceptable as a donation to a charity shop; dirty, broken, missing crucial elements, counterfeit. Please do study the Jobalots terms and condtions - they mean exactly what they say. I have no big issues with purchasing brand new from Jobalots - however be aware of the “shrinkage clause” in the Jobalots terms and conditions - you could end up with less than you paid for. Jobalots also need to get rid of DPD - they are useless! My orders are always manhandled, and ripped open with items spilling out. The contempt that the delivery operatives have for their work is palpable. BUYER BEWARE - JOBALOTS NEED TO PULL UP THEIR SOCKS…OR PLAY FAIR
