I have been studying with Oxbridge for about 3 weeks now and the experience has been fantastic so far. The course is well presented and easy to follow. Like anything, you get out what you put in and I have definitely noticed my knowledge of my chosen subject (Spanish) has improved. My tutor Emily is always on hand via email for anything relating to course studies, and has been extremely helpful with any questions I have had. She has even forwarded some useful study tools and information relating to my studies which has really helped me. My only regret is I wish I had done this sooner.

I am a mature student , recently retired and have been learning Spanish for about 14 months . Having not studied Spanish before- at all - doing it completely on your own , on- line can be daunting . However , what I have found from Emily( my tutor) is attentive, thoughtful and constructive support. She gives me praise when it is due and provides me with additional learning materials for the areas where I struggle . I am always able to contact her by e- mail and genuinely value her support . If it wasn’t for Emily I wouldn’t be signing up for another year of learning at Oxbridge on- line .

I hadn't studied for a while and it took me a while to get into that mind set. My tutor "Kelly Pearson" was amazing, her knowledge and approach when explaining things to me was at the right level, she made me feel confident that I could achieve my qualification. The whole experience including the administration side was great full support all the way through. Would highly recommend !!

I didn't get off to a good start. I was advised that I could start L4 Counselling without completing L3 by the advisers when you first call. This is not the case, I had to pay £100 to switch the course level even though I hadn't even started it! I still find this unacceptable. Be very careful when choosing a course with them. The course content was interesting but a lot of emphasis on one unit in particular with referencing. If you don't like referencing then this course isn't for you. This might be down to the course awarding body rather than Oxbridge but something to be aware of. Kelly is an amazing personal tutor. She likes to get to know all of her learners, she is very supportive and has some innovative ideas about how you approach your subject and attempt to answer the questions. Any problems, you can ask her anything and she does her best to support you and provides excellent feedback which is very helpful if you need to resubmit an assessment. I'll miss chatting to Kelly, without her I would not have completed this course. She encourages you as an individual learner. Thanks Kelly!

We could not recommend Oxbridge to anyone. A brief summary: 1. They used AI / Chat GPT in their materials, and denied this for months before admitting this 30th Sept 2024. 2. They did not provide the tutor support that they advertised. 3. Customer service response to legitimate concerns was met with denial, delay and no suitable solution. A longer summary: We signed our daughter up to study 3 A-Levels through Oxbridge (Biology, Psychology and Environmental Science) in in Dec 2023. We have held off leaving a negative review since March 2024 (writing this in Oct 2024) as we have been trying to resolve the issue privately with Oxbridge. If you look at the reviews on Trustpilot, many appear to be based on the sign-up process rather than the quality of the course. Oxbridge ask for reviews shortly after enrollment. Unfortunately, for us it was not until after the 14-day money back period that we became aware of the significant problems with Oxbridge. Some of the problems with Oxbridge that we encountered: 1. Course materials that included cut and paste extracts from Chat GPT / AI. 2. The fact it took 6 months for Oxbridge to stop denying that they used Chat GPT even when we sent them clearly documented screen shots highlighting the obvious AI responses. (Reported in March 2024, repeatedly denied until 27th / 30th Sept 2024). 3. Lack of ability of “tutors” to answer questions 4. Delayed tutor responses (well beyond the advertised 48 hour response window) 5. The assignments including material that was not covered in the course documents to that point. 6. The customer support team would frequently ignore or take weeks or months to respond to emails - even when we chased them. As a result of the obvious Chat GPT material (and repeated denials of its use - until the Head of Learning / Curriculum Development Manager finally admitted this in September 2024), we lost all trust with the quality of the course materials. As a result of this, our daughter stopped using the Oxbridge materials and has been teaching herself since March 2024. At this point I asked Oxbridge if we could stop paying for the service as we had lost all trust in the material and provided written evidence as to why this was the case. They said we should keep paying while the looked into the issues. This was a response from Oxbridge about the use of AI: — “I can confirm that no AI was used in the creation of these, we used professional course writers alongside our learning development team for every course to ensure the content is reliable and presentable for our students. Furthermore one of our terms is no AI generation to ensure every detail has been put down for a reason and giving you and your daughter exactly what you have paid for.” — On the 27th (email) and 30th September (phone 4:31 pm & 4:55 pm) , 2024, they FINALLY admitted that they DID in fact use Chat GPT as part of the process to make the course materials. They also admitted that they had not always responded as they should have to our daughter, or within the stated timeframes. Despite these admissions they were emphatic that they would NOT be refunding any money as it was after the 14 day cooling off period. We recognise that we noticed these issues after the 14 day cooling off period but, in our defence, we were not to know that the material was, at least in part, AI generated until we had started in earnest. Or that the tutors would not be able to answer my daughter’s questions. Or that they would be so slow in responding. As a halfway house I suggested that we donate the course fees to a charitable project in Africa, providing clean sanitation (toilets) for learners in rural Africa. Again, Oxbridge denied this request and would not return any money or support this worthy project. Instead, this was the solutions they offered: “Whilst we’re unable to provide a refund on this occasion, we do have two options available to yourself and {your daughter};: 1. A transfer of {your daughter}’s enrollment to a different course, allowing her to begin anew with the support of a new tutor. 2. A complimentary extension of {your daughter}’s courses to ensure that she does not lose any study time as a result of the issues raised and discussed.” Of course, given the lack of trust we now have for this company, will not be taking them up on either of these options. I think the most frustrating thing about this experience for me has been the way these legitimate concerns were dealt with by Oxbridge. Denial and delay. For months, the use of AI was outright and repeatedly denied, before finally being admitted by a member of the senior team. And no refund given, not even to support a good cause. This has been a dreadful saga and I only hope that others reading this review choose to go elsewhere to educate their children. I would not wish this experience on anyone.

I have recently been diagnosed with severe mental health due to bereavement and due to this have been unable to complete my course within a year. I had pregnancy complications. I have requested a short extension of 2 months and been told I have to pay £145 for this even though I have medical evidence from PIP and GP. Absolutely disgusting service for students and no support on the course. Course not fit for purpose and no support during study! Have now requested refund under consumer act!
